When I installed my 1 inch body lift, my upper and lower steering shaft pulled a part too far. So I'm installing a new telescoping lower steering shaft from Toms Bronco Parts.

This Classic Bronco part is a great addition if you are installing any lift and it's pretty simple to install. This how to video will show you how easy it can be.
The steps:
1. Remove the old lower steering shaft.
2. Then remove the steering shaft coupler on the upper shaft.
3. Knock the coupler off.
4. Sand down the edge of the steering shaft and round it out.
5. Slide the new yoke on the old steering shaft and using the pre drilled holes as your guide, drill a 5/16 hole through the shaft.
6. Slide the lower steering shaft yoke on the old upper shaft.
7. Then insert the provided bolt through the shaft and tighten it down.
8. Tighten that down with the provided set screw and nut.
9. Slide the other end onto the steering box spline and secure with the other set screw and nut.
