I'm glad you incorporated the winter jacket into your testing. That's the only way to really assess the real-world efficacy of these HPA pistols. I love the concept behind these.
The winter coat is very fitting for the weather forecast, 8 to 14” of snow is brewing for overnight in upstate NY! I wish there were at least one other company willing to offer this format in a higher quality pistol and air cylinder system. Thanks for watching!!!

been waiting for this vid. excellent testing, thank you! i wonder if 28 joules of LL w layered clothing would stop an amped up aggressor. otherwise it could just turn an encounter worse by raising the stakes. no one has been able to backyard test these energy levels on their buddies (and shouldnt). these days i think anything under 20 is probably insufficient. still - something is better than nothing.

Cody from Pneumatic Fanatic was making the smaller barrel receivers but I don’t think he’s doing it anymore! Basically you would have to purchase a stock Defender and customize it with his 3D print.
This was a really nice test. I had no idea you could shoot kinetics from the AEA. Sweet 👍👍👍 I also think they were quite effective. Remember with LL we rally rely on hard hitting over penetration. Great test Thanks

The fact that they have the perfect power for effective less lethal combined with no Co2. Which can be temperamental in cold weather. And a great size for CCW. Makes them extremely ideal. I honestly think you are on to something that is extremely useful. 👍👍👍
I love these little guys. A little disappointed that more than a few struck sideways. It doesn’t lessen the impact as it would accuracy. Probably due to the short barrels as you mentioned. Anyways good test with the jacket and maybe thats the reason they flipped on impact rather than flight?
Short barrel definitely doesn’t help but I probably should have stuck with traditional JSB pellets as the skirt helps keep the pellet straight. At that close range I wouldn’t have expected the slug would have had time to turn sideways! perhaps it was hitting the jacket as you suggested?
Yea the defender is nice and should get the job done in 2 shots. Only thing I would worry about is the burst disc being faulty. Nice demonstration with the jacket my man 👊💯
