He's also just disgusting with the Ochre Jelly I believe. It should make it such that you can't kill the jelly without killing Vorinclex first since a jelly with 2 +1/+1s would come back with 1 which would then double to 2 and repeat that constantly.

the ability in symetrist doesn't matter, all creatures that aren't mana dorks already have trample. its just a 4/4 for 4 with trample in the deck

Right I feel like the 4/4 slow could be filled better with an old-growth troll for even a little more resitance to removal, although it has very high green devotion. Or for the budget minded, although a bit more expensive manawise an owlbear could wield the sword very well, and draw you a card. In the deck the symmetrist basically reads "This creature and your pest tokens have trample as long as they don't have vorpal sword equipped"

Yeah, either Froghemoth or just another Battle Mammoth would seem better in the deck.

@@erysecret Ochre is just a word in English, not a common one admittedly, but it is a normal word. You can look up it’s pronunciation but it’s usually like “oak-er”.

I have 75 decks right now. 1 brawl and 5 standard. I'm free to play its not as bad as people act. Most of my decks are pretty competitive and I usually hit platinum and mythic if I have time.

This was my first thought as well. The only problem is I think the +1/+1 counter deck really benefits a lot from Collected Company and obviously that card is horrible with X creatures like jelly.

@@BoshiYoshi currently I'm leaning towards maybe a green or Selesnya artifact deck with Ornithopter, Sparring Construct, Steel Overseer, maybe Zabaz the Glimmerwasp and the white modular creatures.

No you are not. It is a deck punt.

Crippling Fear gives -3/-3 to all creatures. Toski, while indestructible, still goes into graveyards as a state based action when its toughness is reduced to zero. Indestructible simply stops "destroy" effects, and death by damage equal or greater then toughness. Any creature with toughness zero goes to the yard

because "changing what is lethal damage" is explicitly part of how deathtouch is defined in the rules. 702.2c: Any nonzero amount of combat damage assigned to a creature by a source with deathtouch is considered to be lethal damage for the purposes of determining if a proposed combat damage assignment is valid, regardless of that creature's toughness. the primary reason this clause exists is to allow a creature with 2 power to kill 2 blocking creatures (you wouldn't be able to assign just 1 damage to each blocker otherwise). it just happens to interact favorably with trample as a result on the other hand, the definition of indestructible doesn't mention changing how lethal damage works at all. you could theoretically add a clause that says something like "any amount of damage assigned to a creature with indestructible would not be considered lethal damage", but that clause wouldn't change how indestructible ends up working, except to make trample worse
