I'm sad because my comment is no longer where I put three links where EL REY SUGA sings including the live where he sings with IU, the same one you just uploaded.
Yes it is Yoongi singing! Both in People part 1 and part 2. He has several songs where he sings like Trivia: Seesaw and Set me free (yes, set me free part 1 is Yoongi's song. That's why Jimin named his song as part 2 even though they don't have much similarity other than a little bit of the meaning).
It's Suga singing People Pt. 1 chorus. It's literally his own song and does not have any features. There are many songs in which Suga sings and he also has very soft and groovy songs with very self reflective lyrics. You should check out both his previous mixtapes before the release of his new album. B-sides are completely different than the title track which are hard hitting. His new album is actually a trilogy third part to his past two mixtapes and is connected to them. Literally my favourite Agust D/ Suga solo songs are his b-sides which are So Far Away, People, 28 and Seasaw.
Yoongi has a lot of lyrically meaningful songs. The hard hitting songs are lesser in quantity. Yoongi is singing on all songs. I can hear his tone in both songs, so I cannot see both singing moments as being different. lol I am surprised you think they are different people. In People the barely heard background vocals is one of the producers at bighit, Adora. Also they are more like throwing it back to their debut years too. Their origin. Thank you for reacting.
I think it's interesting that we're finding out that these guys had it very hard during covid-19. Because they gave us so much content and had 3-4 of their biggest hits during the pandemic, a lot of people thought they had it easy. They probably had it tougher than most, but in usual BTS fashion, we didn't see it then and we're seeing the truth in the music they're releasing as soloists now. First Jimin with his masterpiece, now SUGA. I love this new song by SUGA and IU and can't wait for the album. I've always liked SUGA's voice, yet it's getting even better with the vocal lessons. Honestly, j-hope and RM gave us introspective music as well last year. Their individual talents are shining even brighter than before. I'm excited for what's to come when they reunite. Thanks for your reaction Cody. 💜
The female voice in "People" is Adora, a former producer for Big Hit Music. And yes, that's Agust D singing in the track! He sings in BTS songs, as well, including his solo tracks "Seesaw" and "Interlude: Shadow." You'll love D-2, but also check out his first solo mixtape, Agust D!!
You MUST go back to the older albums. First mixtape is good. D2 is really good. And yes. Totally his vocals on both songs. If you have delved into the world of Yoongi, past SUGA and Agust d, you will see this is not a surprising result. He's a very introspective person. One thing newer listeners don't realize is that BTS are huge fans of each other. As the second oldest member, Yoongi has a mentor relationship with the others musically. Hobi is the dancer mentor. etc As such, Yoongi (and RM) focused on producing, writing, etc. So two things at work - always lifting up the vocalists - who are mostly the younger members and prone to self doubt, confidence issues, and him just not having the time to work with a vocalist coach. Which is something all the vocalists do. But he also knows he doesn't NEED to be that strong vocalist. He trusts his vocal line to their part and they trust him to bring in his part. For this project, though, he wanted to do as much as he could without the others so they could focus on their own projects, especially because the younger ones never did their own albums before. So he knew his was a weaker spot (especially standing next to vocalists like BTS has) and put in the time to make his singing stronger. One of the things I love about his lyrics is they have a core message he intends but the idea is universal enough that listeners can interpret their own situation. Everyone's loss is unique, but he constructs the lyrics so it speaks to all of us.
SUGA can do it all , singing , rapping , producing , writing and dancing So proud of him and the fact he's develop his skills always , can't wait to hear d-day
He has been working on his voice. I'm so proud of him for that. I first heard the improvement during his last livestream when he played guitar and sang. I can't wait for the new album. Can it be here already? Also, I gotta hype up my girl, IU. She is a huge star in Korea and is much loved. Their first collab on IU's song is beautiful too. You should check out IU's eight feat Suga.
One of my favorites by him. I love "chill" music... which is why RM's "indigo" is constantly played at my house. Can't wait to hear his album. And, yes, you will love D-2, it's great.
Yes of course suga can sing..he's a multi talented artist..just like jiminshi and the rest..love them..and IU ofcourse..her voice is heaven...love that seesaw too..❤
Thank you for featuring both part 1 and 2 of People.. Both songs hit differently but are so good.. you can see Suga's further growth as a producer and singer and I also can't wait for his new album!!!
His vocal improves sooooo much but not only that, if u decide to listen to his first and second mixtape, u can clearly tell how much more polished the second is compared to the first and they’re 4 years apart from each other
He sounds amazing since they started their solo projects he has been taken vocal lessons. Can I recommend you watching where he sings a song on his vlive with just his quitar I believe the song is called its not love if it hurts too much, he sounds amazing. Thanks for this reaction.
Suga performs both of these songs on IU’s Palette. They also sing eight, their first collaboration. Check it out, good singing, such a calming tone and you’ll also get to hear IU’s amazing voice. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OP9I2w7UMDc.html
Yes, it's Suga singing in both songs you played. He recently commented that his singing had improved. He has practiced dancing as well for his up coming tour. I can't wait for the rest of the album.🥰💜🥰💜👍
COMO EXPLICAR ESTO...... LA RAP LINE LITERALMENTE ME VOLARON LA CABEZA. SUS LIRICAS SUS MENSAJES, SU FORMA DE EXPRESAR SENTIMIENTOS EN UN MV ES TAN IMPACTANTE... REALMENTE ESTOS CHICOS SON GENIOS!!!!! ESTA DE MAS DECIR QUE LO MISMO SIENTO POR LA VOCAL LINE..... PERO NECESITABA HACER ENFASIS EN LA RAPLINE.... BTS LITERALMETE SON GENIOS..... GENIOS ARTISTAS CON TODAS LAS LETRAS..... ESTOY ANONADADA DEL TALENTO QUE TIENEN.
5:16 YAS!!! That's Suga's voice... his vocal voice is really smooth and airy. And for the female voice in the back is Adora's voice. She used to be some of producers for bts and txt, (specially in bts spring day album if I'm not mistaken). But now she's already debut as a solois. U can check her project solo debut called make u dance ft. Eunha viviz and another her catchy song.
The female vocal in people PT.1 is ADORA, she also sang background vocals in People PT.2 feat. IU! ADORA was a Bighit producer and you can find her in a lot of background vocals of BTS & TXT songs! She has since debut in November 2021 I believe! 😊
Believe it or not, people part 1 was planned to be sung or performed by Jimin and if you want more vocal SUGA try to listen and hopefully react to girl of my dreams
its him singing in both part 1 and 2.. u should watch and react to IU's talkshow IU Pallette.. the latest guest is suga and they perform both songs.. watch it and u believe it..
Suga has had other songs where he sings so yes he can sing. If you haven't listen to his mixtape or solos release you probably wouldn't of heard him but this isn't knew. And yes it was Suga singing in pt.1 too.
Yoongi has mentioned that he wanted to try other genres, like folk, because it would be boring if he'd just rap in a 2-hr concert (though I personally wouldn't mind) 😊 it's probably one of the reasons why he's been taking vocal lessons it's cool you listened to both songs as it clearly shows how much his vocals improved
