Nike’s definition of “Red” is bordering on Apple’s definition of “Space Grey/Black”. Like, what even is this color anymore haha. And I agree with Chris. As a former radio show host, the best episodes are the casual conversations, mistakes and all. I’ve tried scripting a show and trying to keep people on track, but a lot of the transitions sound forced.

Got these on the shock drop during the SNKRS Live event and have already worn them a couple of times. If JB did this Kentucky/UNC colorblocking with just about any color and decent leather, I'd pretty much be in. REALLY like these.

another day, another 1. super clean, and I would imagine people who are maroon fans would be into it, or if it's your school colors. they look great! I'm just at the point where I only care about the occasional color, or if an OG like the black/red comes back. all these in between colorways don't do much for me.

This is just a good GR Jordan 1. Sometimes it’s nice to just see a few of these on a shelf at your local sneaker store. It’s easy to try them on, hopefully use a coupon or discount and go home with a fresh pair. No fluff, no hype, just a good shoe. Great video as always!

They look alright but the colour is more maroon or burgundy than red.. the AJ1 that I'm really after are the '85 OG Hi burgundy metallic, hope to get a pair soon.

Bordeaux is more of a wine color. These are closer to maroon.

QOTD: Keep doing it exactly how you're doing it. I'm happy to spend time with you multiple times a week. Thanks for the video. Kentucky or Natural Grey/Metallic color blocking on a Jordan 1 could last me for the rest of my life. This colorway is solid with the white laces and very, very nice with the matching red ones. I won't pay the crazy retail for them, not with the old tech and current quality of materials. If they sit long enough to get under $100, I'm in. Janoski review coming soon? :)

They are way under retail right now (I bought them for $113 on Stockx and I had a free shipping code). Buy what you like at the end of the day. I wouldn’t pay full price for these but I’ll take them on sale. Also my middle school colors was purple and Yellow, my high school was blue and gold and I’m from the East Bay… so I’m with Jodie 😂

My high school colors were maroon and gray. Seems there is a lot of maroon out there. As for my videos I used to have a script or reference guide to follow. Now I just have notes that I jot down releases dates or prices. The rest is all off the top of the head. If I miss something or get it totally wrong “Words In the Corner” helps me out and I put the correction there in the edit.

I remember seeing that interview with the woman who retired from Nike who said the hardest part of the design and marketing effort was naming the colours: light curry, British tan, artisanal red being good examples. So they leave the sweat shops to bang this shit out while they sit on massive salaries ten thousand miles away coming up with dumb names for the colours.
