Aliens - Abductions - Anal probes? - Day 110 - Appalachian Trail 

Glad you are pressing on -- uphill mud, potential alien abductions, the shelters being too "peopley" and all. I got a little misty-eyed when you mentioned how close you are to the end of the AT. I have become a morning person and changed my entire morning routine because of your channel. I stumbled onto it at a time I wanted to change up some routines, such as watching too much true crime content. I quickly realized that watching you and Leo walk the AT gives me a sense of peace and that that sense of peace would best serve me in the mornings before getting ready for work. For my entire life, I have been a night person. My morning routine was to get ready as quickly as possible after waking. Well, can't do that and have my morning dose of the AT. Only solution was to get up earlier and now I have an hour or more of time just enjoying being awake and gazing out my open back door before I even think about getting ready for work. A complete transformation for a type A personality. I have also unsubscribed from the majority of true crime channels and no longer am filling my head space with all that evil and despair. I feel so much lighter. Your hike has caused me, in some unknowable way, to start changing things that always needed to change. Sorry for the book but I feel very strongly that you are just quietly inspirational. Hike on!

Looks great, I’m impressed by your verve and enthusiasm, good luck stay safe. You seem to be a loner save few exceptions. The trail also looks unused, are there others that are hiking around you. Past July’s seems to find the trail wider more used and more crowded. I laughed at the resident alien and your rapport with him. ✅

That was funny about meeting aliens. I'm glad you didn't get abducted either, lol. The scenery around you, as I'm sure you have noticed, is taking on a much more "North woods" appearance. I know you're at a higher elevation, but being so far north, the conifer forests start at a much lower elevation than the ones here in North Carolina (deciduous hardwoods until you get to close to 6000 feet). Wait til you get to NH and Maine - it's almost all conifer trees.

Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 your journey through Glastonbury was hilarious 😂 oddly enough we have a Glastonbury here no Alien's but it's an extremely spiritual site and after the summer solstice there's a massive festival akin to Woodstock still enjoying the daily updates from you always look forward to it .

Stratton Mountain supposed to be the birthplace of the AT. Idea for it there by Benton McKay in 1900. Reviewing maps and best day hikes in Rutland area. Also Robert Frost stone house and burial sites. Enriching the home based AT adventure- blasted hot here today.
