@@shadowdragun Odd too. In OG Hyrule Warriors, Ganon's Fury Ganon was actually larger than normal Ganon.

@@SpaceRodan Yes but that was different. That was a small side mode with you playing as a boss character and going on a rampage. This is is a playable boss character, which tend to be a bit nerfed

I personally think that he’s just really really hungry. He’s essentially doing what he does with his unique action: absorb the malice, from the monsters this time, back into him for a light snack

Thats pretty much what hes always done. Being the physical incarnation of rage and evil, his entire character is basically just destroying everything in sight.

Nah it's probable that he knows the game's *non canon* hence he doesn't care and fight wathever enemies the players put in front of him.

@@minaashido518 The story contradicts a lot of the Lore established in Breath of the Wild such as Link removing the Master Sword when he was 13 years old instead of 17 like in Age of Calamity and Zelda's recruitment of the Champions again months before the Great Calamity seen in Age of Calamity. No amount of Terrako shenanigans can excuse the poor continuity between what happens before Breath of the Wild and Age of Calamity proving the game to be nothing more than a "what if" non canon story.

I disagree... because Attack Speed spawns more Malice but also how attacking works. If you attack 10% faster every 10 attacks you'll get to hit an 11th time for free. If you deal 10% more damage every 10 attacks you'll have hit 11 attacks worth of damage. You'd stay in Calamity Form longer with Attack Speed and deal the same amount of damage.

@@Buglin_Burger7878 quite true. I didn’t mean to make it sound like attack speed wasn’t a good choice. I meant to say that in the absence of attack speed, regular attack damage could be good in Calamity form. A sort of fill-in until you get the attack speed seals. I realize I worded it in a confusing way, and for that I apologize

I use regular attack seals with Impa and spam regular with full seals

Not only does it end, it keeps your Malice Gauge, which is important.

@@plastic_alligator9819it’s normal attack into strong attack. So one normal attack. Then one strong attack. C3 is 2 normal attacks and then strong attack. C4 is 3 normal attacks into a strong attack and so on

yes, it is in fact hair, but you can see at 6:58 that it sprouts from the shoulder blades instead of the actual head. while it may resemble fireblight's hair, it is in fact more wing-like in this given scenario.

@@loftwild4302 You can still dodge cancel out of it, what I mean is that if you input nothing after doing it, he comes to a complete stop.

I’ve found Y-Y-Y-X spamming to be pretty effective around both large groups of enemies, and destroying weak point gauges.

I can advise you to use this combo against any enemy, first use the magnesis rune and then immediately YYX (the mimic weak point will be at a small notch) dodge immediately and execute YX, if you have the maximum attack speed in your weapon you will make the point weak of any mimic (except electric ones) in one and only stroke without allowing them to move a single step Ps (against the sassork (they are called so in Italian, but to make us understand they are the rock masses that you have to fight every now and then) with them you just need to use the magnesis rune once and then YYX does not need to be shy let it continue and finish the 'attack, since your damage you do hits the rock that have spores of them even if you are in front of them, this will destroy the weak point directly at once, allowing you not to make the enemy move one step Once you have performed the weak point, wait for your rune to be charged again and perform the same combo again, if you are a little cautious about not getting damage from the enemies behind you you will be able to finish each mission without too much difficulty Alternatively use the stasys and then YYYYX when the mimic weak point is active, it will destroy it anyway, but I always recommend the first option as the magnesis lets out the weak point of the mimics directly and dandruff them without needing you to give them the opportunity to attack weak point (except electric enemies don't work them use staysis)

Really? I felt like the only difficult aspect of this character was keeping him from taking damage from projectile spammers due to him being a big boy. He's pretty mindless otherwise. Constantly do combos of your choice, spam ZR to collect "souls", activate Awakened mode, wreck (mid)bosses' weakpoints, and finally curse how long the WP Smash animation takes xD. Everything else is just *extra.* Also his Runes are amazing.

​@@swift7842 In game time pauses when you use Weak Point Smashes and Special Attacks. Some of the DLC missions have a flat survive for X time, one of which is 7 minutes. If you watch the timer when you use the above attacks you'll notice the timer stops and when you finish the mission it will still only say 7 minutes in the post mission menu. This is very important as you'll want to spend as much time in those as possible.

Riju when she kicks also deals a lot of damage as well as Zelda's bow of light when she launches many arrows in the smash, however, I completeñy agree with Calamity Ganon smash. It's an absolute powerhouse and that smash benefits A LOT from the 100 KO more damage seal.

Don't forget being legitimately unplayable in certain rooms thanks to his stupid size-limit energy blob form.

@@saltedsins I tried playing that DLC mission with him and Kohga, "conquer Hyrule" I believe it was, where you run through the castle and take on the champions and zelda. They couldn't have picked a worst map to force you to play as Ganon.

He sometimes summons waterblight's new flail. He also summons fireblight's hair/wings. His magnesis rune comes from thunderblight.

Windblight has his hand gun Waterblight has the flail Fireblight has the hair Thunderblight has the magnesis

If you look closely, the masks and manes of the Windblight and the Waterblight also appears on Calamity Ganon when he summons the gun/flail

Unfortunately damage seals are actively worse then attack speed given attacking 50% faster is the EXACT same as dealing 50% more damage in terms of DPS. With attack speed up you're C2 (YX) would come out faster let you react better. The exception is Damage Per 100 KOs which can reach a higher number then Attack Speed at 200-300 kills.

@@Buglin_Burger7878 Damage to foes with status effects is +13%, +15%, or +16% depending on how many seals of the same shape you have, so it is worth it if you use that seal in my mind.

@@Buglin_Burger7878 Oh, and Damage at 30% hearts or less can get up to +21% with four or more square seals, or +19% with two or three square seals.

Agreed Ganon already takes up precious screen real estate as one of the biggest playable characters and the malice particle effects makes it hard to tell what's going on at time I had no idea Ganon's last strong attack in calamity mode was him firing his mouth laser thingy from his boar form, because of the red lightning effect covering most of the screen

His age of calamity form looks different from botw's because he absorbed astors power

What I find is that the higher the Level requirement for the mission, the higher attack weapons you get. As for seals, if you have a weapon with the golden seal they betters the quality of found weapons, it seems to get + and ++ more often. In the DLC they seemed to have added stronger weapons (higher attack). There’s one challenge close to the castle (previous to dlc) that gets you to beat 4 bosses one after the other, when you’re maxed out of your weapon and character, you can do it in about 3 minutes, this is good because one boss usually gives you one weapon, and this mission gives you an extra weapon for your character or a random other one, so that’s the one I use to get more weapons in a faster pace.

I totally agree, both his weak point smash and special move have such long animations and it’s kind of annoying waiting for it to end so you can start playing the game again
