When they turned Trunks iconic sword to a stick A STICK I knew something was wrong.

First they turned swords into sticks in DB Fusions, then they changed a sword stabbing a kid to a magic light in Tales of Berseria and now this? Is like if Bandai Namco is trying to compete with Nintendo of America.

Censorship should be hated in all forms and ways, if an idea is bad or repulsive, it should be allowed to fail on its own merits, not because someone decided to censor it.

I just don't understand censorship sometimes . . . If Japan makes something then its censored in North America but if its something North American, Japan will censor it too . . . It feels like every country just censor each other for the simple reason that its something imported . . .

Censorship is one thing but sometimes they dont even try to hide the horrible edits. Some of these look like they were done in MS paint or with no knowledge of how photoshop works in the least bit.

even in the digimon anime bastemon. lilithmon, mervamon and angewomon weren't censored in the subbed version but i'm sure bastemon. lilithmon, mervamon were censored in the dubbed version

I might sound like a devil's advocate writting this but... The edits are mostly nicely done and sometimes get the art to become a ton more suggestive than the original more revealing design. Personally I find this "censorship" work pretty interesting to see as it still manages to remain accurate to the original material. Shutumon's bent wing is especially clever in my opinion.

The first two were clever, however, 2:19 just hurts. Not only did they censor one of my favorite female Digimon in the whole series, but they censored my favorite ASSET.

Don't believe me then just ask the Angry Video Game Nerd!), and now THIS? Hasn't Bandai fucked up and ruined their reputation enough already?

To be honest even the censored versions of these cards don't seem appropriate for the E rating they want. They should've just gone all the way and released the game uncensored and T-rated.

Come on bandai nameco you made a really amazing dub of god eater ressurection with very little censorship most of which i didn't mind like the blood exsplosions. this stuff while understandable probably due to saban or whoever owns the licensing dub- this kinda censorship annoying is annoying but also again america loves messing with foreign stuff.

Well! Here is my analisis about the sytuation and what can potential happen: -You are trying to market towards kid. Ok there is nothing wrong with that. Trying to bring in some new blood is fine. HOWEVER Remember that you have fans already and they are around 20 years old by now at least. So you should capitalize on that too. It's posible to market something for kids and adults. -Censoring cards and cancelling figurines. These are BAD ideas because it won't effect the demographic that you are aiming at. I'm sure litle kids won't buy 8 inch figurines of legacy characters. So you are just loosing out of money. And for the mobile game I have 2 sentence. WAIFU SELLS. I'm talking about experience here. I'm playing Japanese mobile games and they want you to spend money on them, and 1 way to do thi is by making sexy girls to collect. And the reason why this decision is extra bad is because adults don't have the restrictions that kids(AKA parental controll on theire money). You gona loos up on a large amount of Profit by doing this. As I said I'm playing mobile games. The one that I'm playing for the longest is Fate/Grand Order. And that game is almost always in the top 5 in japan for multiple reasons. 1 of them is the waifu factor.
