True words..opposition in Kerala should support these kind of Infra projects. High-speed train is need of an hour. otherwise, our development will be stagnant soon. 6 line NH will soon become congested.. Even 12 lines will not be sufficient. Indian Railways are not even able to do any kind of development..see the conditions of trains and its speed.

Actually Indian railway is now doing good ..Vande Bharat , Vande Sadharan with better speed and infrastructure are running now....Vande Bharat luxury look like sleeper version is coming soon.... Railway stations are renovating to Airport model all over Rapid Rail system is coming Metro rails are now overall in all cities.....and also the bullet train project connecting Major cities are in connection....in 2nd phase there will be Kerala in bullet train project

@@peaceandtruth371 let us hope so. But basic things of Indian railways are still pathetic like safety, conditions of coaches..running times etc.. one or two vande bharaths are not solving the proble. Also there is no long term plan on high speed or bullet trains which is officially formulated and released.

Opposition is not against high speed trains. Actually it was the present opposition that actually brought the most of kerala's development since the state came to be. There is opposition to slanting the track's angle so that communist party leaders'property won't be taken over by the government for the project. the angle of the track should not be more like 3⁰ for high speed trains to run.

There should be money left to do something like KRail...when some state have good financial status..it's okay to do this..but considering our financial situation..it isn't advisable to do suicidal decisions like K Rail

നമ്മളെയൊക്കെ ഭരിക്കുന്നതിൽ ഭൂരിപക്ഷവും യാതൊരു കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകളോ ദീർഘവീക്ഷണമോ മൂല്യങ്ങളോ ഇല്ലാത്ത സ്കൂളിലും കോളേജുകളിലും അടിയും പിടിയും നടത്തി നേതാക്കന്മാരായ റൗഡികളാണ്. ജനത്തിന് ഇത് തിരിച്ചറിയാനുള്ള ഒരു ബുദ്ധി ഉണ്ടാകുമ്പോൾ നമ്മുടെ നാട് നന്നാകും. കിഴക്കമ്പലം പഞ്ചായത്ത് ഞാൻ നേരിട്ട് പോയി കണ്ടതാണ്. അവിടെ നടക്കുന്നതുപോലെയുള്ള വികസന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഒരു പഞ്ചായത്തിലും നടക്കുന്നില്ല. ഇത്രയും ആത്മാർത്ഥതയുള്ള സാബുവിനെ എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നിച്ചുനിന്ന് ഇല്ലാതാക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണ്. കാരണം രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരന്റെ വരുമാനം നിലക്കുമല്ലോ. കോടതിയുടെ സഹായം കൊണ്ടാണ് അദ്ദേഹം നിലനിൽക്കുന്നത്. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞത് ശരിയാണ് പത്തുവർഷംകൊണ്ട് ഈ കേരളത്തെ യൂറോപ്യൻ രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ ഒപ്പമുള്ള ഒരു ജീവിതനിലവാരത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ സാധിക്കും. പക്ഷേ അതിന് കാതലായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ വരുത്തേണ്ടിവരും അങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചാൽ ഒരു ജോലിയും ചെയ്യാതെ ആഡംബരപൂർവ്വം ജീവിക്കുന്ന സമൂഹത്തിലെ ഇത്തിക്കണ്ണികൾക്ക് രക്ഷയില്ലാതാകും. ഇതാണ് ഇവിടുത്തെ പ്രശ്നം. ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ തന്നെ 150 ലധികം ഗവേഷകർക്ക് നോബൽ സമ്മാനം കിട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഒരു യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിലെങ്കിലും ഗവേഷകർക്ക് ഒരു നോബൽ സമ്മാനമെങ്കിലും കിട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ. ശമ്പളം കൂട്ടി കിട്ടാനുള്ള ഇവിടുത്തെ കള്ള ഡോക്ടറേറ്റുകൾക്ക് എന്ത് പ്രയോജനം. ഇപ്പോഴും പാശ്ചാത്യരുടെ അത്യദ്ധ്വാനത്തിലൂടെ കണ്ടുപിടിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങളാണ് നമ്മൾ ദൈനംദിന ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. നമുക്ക് സ്വന്തമായിട്ട് എന്ത് സംഭാവനയാണ് ലോകത്തിനുവേണ്ടി ചെയ്യുവാൻ സാധിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. ഇന്ത്യ നന്നാകണമെങ്കിൽ ആദ്യം ചെയ്യേണ്ടത് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം സാർവത്രികമാക്കണം. നമ്മൾ ഭാഷകളെക്കുറിച്ച് അഭിമാനം പറയുന്നു പക്ഷേ എല്ലാം കോപ്പിയടിക്കുന്നത് പാശ്ചാത്യരിൽ നിന്നും. കുറെ ഭാഷകൾ പഠിച്ചിട്ട് എന്ത് കാര്യം. കേരളത്തിൽ വന്ദേ ഭാരതതിലെ ഒരു ടിക്കറ്റ് കിട്ടണമെങ്കിൽ കുറഞ്ഞത് 15 ദിവസം മുമ്പെങ്കിലും ബുക്ക് ചെയ്യണം. മംഗലാപുരം മുതൽ കന്യാകുമാരി വരെ ഒരു അതിവേഗ തീവണ്ടി പ്പാത വരികയാണെങ്കിൽ അത് വിപ്ലവകരമായ ഒരു മാറ്റമായിരിക്കും. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ അതിവേഗ തീവണ്ടിപ്പാത ഏറ്റവും വിജയിക്കുവാൻ സാധ്യതയുള്ളത് ഈ റൂട്ടിലാണ്. പദ്ധതികൾ നടപ്പിലാക്കുവാനുള്ള ആർജ്ജവത്വം ഉള്ളവർക്ക് പണം ഒരു പ്രശ്നമല്ല. ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവർക്ക് പണം തന്നെ ഉണ്ടാകും. നമ്മുടെ മാധ്യമങ്ങൾക്ക് വികസന കാര്യങ്ങൾ നല്ല രീതിയിൽ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നില്ലായെന്നുളളതും ഒരു കുറവാണ്.

Beautiful explanation and given the highly urbanized and educated population in kerala this type of infrasturctural projects would get back its cost within a short time and it'll start getting profitable and tap in the foreign and domestic tourists to also use this mode of transportation this will immensely give boost to our economy and will multiply the indirect employment too and not just formal modes of employment But our people is a special case No roads then protest give New roads then again protest No development protests New development protests Agreed the compensation should be given either in re settlement or employment or mix of both or give them shareholdings in the projects which gets buy backed upon their dividends eventually paying for their compensation with interest we should give healthy balance to our peoples compensation and legal rights along with our state/country's development we can't afford to stay stagnant and be expert in policy paralysis and then wonder and complain on how gulf or western countries are developed while we're staying as we were decades ago without monetising our demographic dividend.

Straightening the curves is to make the top speed of 130 kmph or something. Even K rail is below 200 kmph I think. SGK is talking about 400+. For that we need a new rail and new tech.

@@okfarooq our fastest trains are Vande Bharat trains with 180 top speed. Realistically speaking , we can't really even compare our facilities to the developed nations. Considering the size of India, the central Government definitely won't have enough money to establish new tracks and high speed trains probably for another 15-20 years.

Just because some people who can't afford good transportation doesn't mean everyone who can afford it should suffer. Air travel used to be not much popular in India but now you can see even migrant workers travel in plane because of convenience

@@mrh1096 It's the same, India need luxury things like good transportation and bullet tains etc. People who can't afford now don't need to travel but they will eventually be able to afford and by then the prices will also become comparatively cheap. Congress had a mentality that India doesn't need those as people can't afford and care. You can see the state of opposition currently, they amount to nothing. They don't ask the current government things which actually matters but try to stop things which had actual potential to revolutionize certain sectors (one example is farm bill, I am angry at the center because they took that back because of the stupidity of opposition)

K rail supporters please note, - If u live near the railway track, u have limited access to the other side. We already have a railway track. A parallel track will create so much in convenience for the people living on either sides , imagine people living in the middle of both rails😅😂😂😂 We should get more vandhe bharat trains and also decrease the fare. Thats what we need.

​@@AnoopLukeAnd both are expensive, in fact Indian railways are only getting expensive. Some new trains with new color and new facilities are not enough. Day by day trains are getting cancelled, not in time . The number of trains are very low , existing trains cleanliness and security is sub par. And it's expensive.

if you live near a natinal highway you have the same problem.. you have to get through under or over pass to other side.. mean while you have got high speed conctivity to major cities through the highway .. Likewise , if a high speed rail comes you have some restriction to cross to other side .. at the same time you have got good connectivity to major cities through nearest railway station..if you are a guy living only in you own premises , then your point is valid.. if you are to travel for job, govt purpose or any other thing , you can get it done within a half day.. time is something none can buy.. time once lost, is lost for ever..😂😂😂😂😂

there is many national internatinal agencies to fund such infra projects with nominal interests.. Many of the projects around u are build with such funding.. idukki project was made possible indo-canadian Colombo project.. KSTP projects funded by world bank.. Irritation projects are funded by JICA.. Kochi metro 1 was funded by French Development Agency...Water metro funded Germany.. metro phase 2 is to be funded by AIIB..

@@emilmohan1000 😅 1) we are 100 years back because of our system, That is why we are not utilizing our resources properly. 2) To develop we need to build an invest friendly environment, and also reduce corruption in whole levels. 3) We need developments with vision . Not some blind development that leads to devastation. 4) With the same fund, Firstly we need to build good roads that can withstand floods or atleast that can last 4 years . 5) We need to think about floods and how can development be done on these flood buffer Zones and How can we tackle landslides. 6) Utilizing our available resources to maximum output especially railway lines. KRail is not a good vision, it cost astronomical amount for Kerala as the state has the maximum share for building it. And also we need to study about how can flood affect Kerala after this. The state has no money for building these things we will obviously take loans, Kerala is already a debt ridden state. According to studies the state is in dire situation as they are taking loan for even giving salaries and pension. The loan giving institutions will view these things in an unfavourable mannor and will be reluctant to give us loans. Just think how our cibil scores works.most probably K- Rail won't be a profitable thing. If we want we can have bullet trains and vandhe Bharat in near future.

Kerala, being a part of india should not move behind .. none told that kerala gov to soley bear the cost of railway projects..everyone know no state government alone can fund such huge project.. Right now mumbai- ahmendabad bullet train project is progressing.. Kerala gov can study the project and adapt useful models from there.. the problem is whenever there is a discussion, someone with political vested interests comes and hijack the talk as if it like a bioweapon.. mean while i could see luxury cars blocked in highways .. Railway coaches are being thickly packed like anything..even premium coaches gets encroached by migrants.. Even if you are willing to pay you cant even get ticket prior to a month.. This is the situtation all over south india.. I am not of an opinion that kerala state having its own high speed train.. There should be high speed netwok linking all south states to north, mumbai and north east with kerala as a part of it..

Of course Kerala can use high speed rail projects. But with the state of the economy and resource constraints, Kerala should focus on getting well and prioritise projects that can have maximum impact. I don’t think high speed rail is the need of the hour.

The bullet train project was halted by the Udhav-led Congress government in Maharashtra. After the BJP took charge, it is now progressing at lightning speed. This illustrates who is slowing down such projects. In Kerala, the state should support the center to prioritize completing NH 66 first. Vande Bharat is a blessing at this point-baby steps. Currently, the speed and comfort of Vande Bharat are better than those in the USA, though not at China's level. For that, we may need governor's rule in states like Kerala. The implementation of farm laws and how the opposition thwarted them speaks volumes about the state of democracy in India.

However, for passengers, what matters is the average speed and how much time the train takes to cover the distance from start to finish, rather than how fast it goes in some segments during the travel. Vande Bharat Express has advanced safety features like Collision Avoidance System, fire suppression, onboard diagnostics, ABS, etc., and a state-of-the-art air suspension system that gives a smooth ride. In the current operational environment, this train offers excellent safety features, comfort, and a better look than the trains in the USA. The bullet train, which I mentioned and is set to start in 2026, will have a top speed of 320 km/h. If the UDHAv and Congress had not stopped the progress, it would have been running by now. Indian Railways plans to operate 35 bullet trains initially, with about 70 trips per day. It plans to increase the number to 105 trains later. btw, Krail is a Japanese technology, but we have already started developing indigenous bullet trains in Chennai. The Krail technology is outdated, and the technology developed by ICF Chennai is pretty good

Why is no one talking about the feasibility and viability of putting the infrastructure for a high speed train. Don't they check the current passenger traffic between two destinations and study the ROI of traveling at X speeds between those cities?i was expecting him to say something about that,rather than my neighbors have a high speed train,my sons needs it too.have you all checked the issues of the high speed train network in china?somebody needs to read that before falling to that propaganda.for the past 20 years, I keep hearing 100% literary narrative,but nothing practical.The only advantage i see is the infusion of new technologies , manufacturing, and quality metrics/processes when you implement such tech.
