I have a 2014 E250 Bluetec Diesel with 105K on it and the car is still so smooth and works wonderfully! I have toyed with getting a Tesla or another electric car, but the E-Class is hard to give up. Great video as always folks!
Great video as always. The way companies like Mercedes Benz give you guys early access to such vehicles says a lot about how big you guys have gotten in such a short time. Keep up the amazing work!
Right on! But you always gonna hear hard working Americans who can't afford the maintenance would come on here shamelessly trying to Compare their bouncy poor handling underperformed Mercedes mimic Lexus to Benz. Overall Mercedes is way ahead of any Japanese vehicle
E CLASS never fails to impress! and WOW ya'll went to AUSTRIA for this REVIEW! LOVE your dynamic reviews! I remember when the channel first started! honestly the E class looks GREAT!
Perfectly balanced styling, and a perfect size. I’d take an E-Class over an A6 or the 5-Series any day. Especially as an estate car. But I still agree about those flush door handles… Why did we need these (potentially problematic handles) when current and/or past door handles actually work and look great? Thanks for the video.
They are putting out some great vehicles. While I don't love the look of the new EQ line, these gas models we recently drove are very good. Mercedes-Benz is definitely focusing on refinement, a quiet cabin and a smooth ride which I feel will appeal to many.
It's a beautiful design and it's going to the future with the beautiful details of Mercedes, and the most beautiful of this beautiful video and information, greetings to you from Jordan Middle East 🇯🇴 Mercedes will remain luxury, technology, speed and the best ever
I’ve always liked the CLS over current e-class but wow this looks great! Love the tail lights and modern interior. A similarly updated GLE would be even better.
Mercedes Benz cleaned up really nicely with the look of this new E-class. Exterior and interior both look upper class, like its bigger brother the S-class, and a peppy, exciting combustion engine even in the present world of EVs! I hope this car stays around for a while and can add this to my garage at some point in the future :)
Thanks for the review. I have a 2014 E250 (their 4 cylinder diesel) and have been loving it for over 9 years with no issues at all. It’s been rock solid. Love to see the new one, just wish we could get another diesel in Canada!
Zach, saw you fueling your Porsche at Chevron in Blaine! Probably heading out for Jays game huh! Or a Swiftie! Next time refuel at exit 260, best price in town! I work in Bellingham but live in South Surrey so it’s a daily commute with my GLA45 AMG!Great review as always. Always looking for your reviews!
Yes, that was us. We tried filling up at that location on the way back but too long a line, I won't line up to save a few bucks, already cheaper than Canada!
@@manofsesame3024 As a brand, I'm not sure. It's close. But I know for certain (it was in the news) that the E Class is the top selling imported vehicle in Korea.
@@johnholst the last time I visited Korea in 2015 I saw so many Audi A6s on the roads. A6 is very rare here in Alberta Canada. We do have plenty of A4 and Q5 here but I don’t remember the last time I saw an A6 here. Seems the Koreans really like the large Sedans like E class and A6 😂
One of my favourites! This still retains its classical elegance while looking modern! Glad that Mercedes hasnt gone the BMW way and messed up the looks just to "appear modern"!
Let’s talk about those door handles. I have an S500 MY 2023. Try sliding you hand on the handle after your car has driven in Toronto with all the salt and winter dirt. Sitting in the car looking for facial tissues to clean your hands. And no, they don’t always pop out when you want them to. BTW, that 6 cylinder is a marvel of technology. The pull of a V8 and economy of 8L / 100km in an S-class. Will never go back to a V8. Yes, I drive a sedan, owned one GLC, went back to a sedan. I am just not a truck driver. About those headlight, it’s amazing how it actually cuts out around the car in front of you. Your high beams are on but the car in front of you does not get blinded, the high beams actually light up around the car in front of you. Instantly tracks around curves, hills flat terrain as well, you have to see it to believe it. Also applies to oncoming traffic. No one ever flashes their lights at you.
As a current E400 coupe driver (28yo) & tech enthusiast, I still prefer the w213 generation. The screens are just a gimmick that don't add real value over the previous gen. Though, I am very relieved to hear that MB used soft-touch unlike in their other recent cars (C and EQ).
Nice classy car with a wall to wall dashboard touchscreen is awesome. I laughed you mentioned about a game called angry bird. I haven’t played them for a long time. I almost thought you going to say candy crush. 😆 Great video Andrea! 👍🏻👍🏻 ☕️ ☕️
The car looks great and the technology is great. Can't wait to see it in person and test drive it. Macchiato Beige interior looks amazing. That is the color I would get for the interior. Would probably get white or black for the exterior. Also I am interested in the AMG 53 sedan. Would like to know the horsepower and torque of that car.
The problem with reviews like these is that the reviewers are incentivized to gloss over the negatives. Otherwise the manufacturers will not invite them to these events again.
@tywanjames4427 unfortunately your wrong. While every car reviewer has their biases, it has nothing to do with trying to please the manufacturer. In the first place people like Zac and Andrea only get invited to events like these because the manufacturers respect their opinion. Why does the manufacturer respect their opinion you ask??? For one thing they've been in this business for awhile. Secondly manufacturers know that when people want to know about their products these days, the main place they head to is "RU-vid Automotive Reviewsers" like Zac & Andrea. No, I don't know them personally. But it's just down right distasteful to accuse people that you don't know of being liars. Because thats basically what you did. Yes! The manufacturers definitely try to show all these RU-vid reviewers a good time. That's par for the course. But no reviewer worth their salt is going to jeopardize their channel or their reputation especially for manufacturers who only listen to them bc of their viewership...before you speak listen and know a little something about what your talking about. And yes I do have background in cars and dealerships for your info.
As A European I’d go with the diesel or petrol PHEV E class over the EQE based on looks and maybe most importantly, I want soft touch plastics everywhere in my Mercedes Benz.
OK...Motormouth I've got a question....wow such beautiful lines of this E Class, nice and smooth and so awesome. You go around the car, a beautiful masterpiece...then you look inside and some engineer from Elmer Fudds college puts the computers and such just sticks it on top of the steering column......................NO. I never thought I would choose an Audi over a Mercedes, but for 2024, Audi wins hands down.
I live in Africa and I promise you lithium mining is very bad for the environment. The front end loaders alone burn 1800 liters of diesel in a 10hr shift. It’s also very bad for our environment. Which is something politicians are not telling you
Big mistake not to include a PHEV for USA. I’m out. I’m ONLY considering PHEV model sedans so looks like it’s the Volvo S60 or S90 Recharge for me for my next vehicle.
As an owner of the 2022 E450 All-Terrain (wagon) with the same mild-hybrid and the Inline-6, this model is certainly a bit of an improvement over the 2021-2023 versions. Looks-wise, I like the new version a lot more. However, if they had come out with the “L” (long wheelbase) version of the E-class that they sell in some markets like China and India etc., it would have been a lot more attractive to me. As it stands, it does not go far enough, from a ground-up re-design perspective. Not really a bad thing, but this is more of the same.
