The fake out Clara exit in Last Christmas wasn't for no reason. It was initially written as her exit, but Jenna decided to stick around for another season last minute. You can still say it's bad, but not for no reason.

Yeah it's me, I've been waiting for this video. I mostly agree with you but I love husbands of river song. It has such a sweet ending not only as an episode but also for rivers story + the scene of 12 entering the tardis gets me every time😂. But yeah the episode offer a lot more sadly.

Okay so I love this channel! I agree with a lot of your opinions here, but with Last Christmas I have to give it more credit, and Twice Upon a Time I tend to give some credit due to the behind the scenes of it all

Last christmas, the wardrobe and husbands are three of my favourites 😂 The power of the doctor is awesome and a great one to watch reactors react to.

I agree with almost everything you said and all the placing, but I think Last Christmas is pretty good and actually a good banger. I like how it shows how The Doctor and Clara's relationship has changed and evolved after the events of Series 8 I like how they look after each other, and also, I like the dream crabs/face hugger concept especially with the Doctor finding about the movie Alien lol. It's just really good in my opinion and I would probably put it in B tier, but I understand not everyone will like the other aspects of the episode.

This tier list was what made me realize, wow, yeah, there is REALLY very little I enjoy about The End of Time. I always assumed it was just sort of okay, but yeah, it turns out it's just bad. I really don't like any part of the story. On the other hand, I was happy to see you put Day of the Doctor in S tier. It's filled with the kind of self-indulgence that I feared you would consider cheap, but I'm glad you consider it great. It competes with a handful of others for my favorite Doctor Who story ever, and I enjoy damn near everything about it. It's one of a handful of episodes/specials where no matter how many times I watch it, I can always put it on and enjoy myself.

Honestly, I agree with all of these, except for Time of the Doctor being E tier. I don’t know why but I think I’ve developed an emotional attachment to it due to it being Smith’s last episode as the main incarnation (as the Eleventh Doctor is my Doctor). It’s not perfect, and I do agree that it was rushed and needed more time (way more worthy of being a two parter than the End of Time), but I love it a lot and would honestly put it in either A, B or even C tier. I mean, I’d put every special I’ve watched so far in those tiers because I don’t really HATE an episode of Doctor Who. 😭

I would like a season/era of modern Who where the show, the characters, the music, and The Doctor are not self-aware of how "amazing" The Doctor is and how "special" his relationship with love-interest-Companion is. I am *old* so I remember the Doctor being a detached mysterious alien wanderer who stumbled into situations not of his own making and used nothing but his intelligence, courage, and compassion to overcome worlds on end. He didn't mope about who he was or his place in the universe, etc. He had a lust for travel and adventure, and for satiating his own curiosity (sometimes to the detriment of himself and others). I don't like peeking into his emotions or frailties. He should be enigmatic and rough to handle. We've spent 20 years on the fee-fee's Doctor. I want The alien Doctor again. Sorry....what video is this? Where am I? What was I doing again...?

End of Time sucks, but I do enjoy the ending with all the characters. The Doctor The Widow and the Wardrobe is very magical, you can sense the Christmas spirit in it.

Everyone's opinion is valid but I sense some Capaldi cynicism here. The Last Christmas and Husbands of River song are AMAZING and you definitely need too rewatch them when you can. 😅 I recommend watching Harbo Holmes who brilliantly summed up why me and many Capaldi fans love that episode! Also Time of The Doctor. 😢
