Aloo matar keema recipe:
Ingredients for beef keema:
Beef keema 700 g
Peas 1 cup
Potato cubes 1 cup
Tomatoes (chopped) 1 cup
Onion (finely chopped) 1 cup
Oil 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Yogurt 1 cup
Red chili powder 2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Black cardamom 1
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Water 1 1/2 cups
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Green chilies (chopped) 1 tbsp
Ingredients for garnishing:
Ginger (julienne) as required
Green coriander (julienne) as required
Green chilies (sliced) as required
Directions for keema preparation:
1- In a pan add oil, and onion and cook until translucent.
2- Now add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute. Add green chilies and cook for another minute. Add cumin seeds cumin seeds, black cardamom, and mix well.
3- Now add keema and cook until keema changes color. Add salt, tomatoes and mix it well.
4- Now add yogurt and cook for a minute. Now add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala and cook for 8-10 mins.
5- Add potatoes and ½ cup of water, peas and mix well. Add 1 cup of water and cover and cook over until keema and veggies are done.
6- Garnish with ginger, green chilies, green coriander and serve. Your Keema Aloo Matar is ready.
