Love, love, love this idea. Looks amazing. You’ve inspired me; I think I’m going to try some cards myself! I have an artsy friend overseas, I’m going to do five cards at a time until I have an entire deck and send the entire 52 card deck to him. The instructions will be to set one card out to admire each week for one year. An ongoing, ever-changing yearlong tiny art installation in his flat.
Rewatching this video for like the 100th time...love all the embellishments and you know I love all that fabric you added, too!! Excited to give this a whirl!! Can't wait to see how they are going to turn out!!
I am a German Gal who just admires your work. You are an artist and a muse at the same time. Thank you so much and merry Christmas to you and all your loved ones!
Good for you LM on the 23,000! You are one of the very best artists on RU-vid because of your art but also because of how concise and consistent and well organized your videos are. Thanks for all the inspiration and Happy Holidays!
phew jayne....thank you for this comment....i love creating the videos...and wow...a lot of time is spent with them....i love that you took the time to leave a comment! see you on the table jayne!!!
You never cease to amaze with some unusual ideas. I keep adding to the list of new projects that you inspire me to want to do. I have a habit of working on 3-4 things simultaneously. Can’t help myself.
I saw Scrabble tiles, beads & baubles, paperclips that you didn't use in thise amazing cards. Ordering my beeswax in January...i am so looking forward to spending 2020 with you on this journey & i applaud your decision to go over to Patreon for the majority of your content. You work so hard & deserve to move forward.
Hi LoriMarie these as always are very beautiful. So creative and fun. I thought I saw a tiny brass vintage looking key that you did not use. I would have loved seeing how you do the beeswax dip. These are something I would love to create more of in the future. It was helpful to watch you make such lovely little stories out of varied random pieces.
let me see if i can the video where i am dipping a dress in beeswax ilona....take a peek... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1eU_DMaj5QY.html

Hi LorriMarie! I’m always intrigued with the renderings of your thoughts. What fun❣️ I think you used everything on your desk. Some items physically and some visually through inspiration. Congrats on 23,000!

Ab Fab project. I loved that you thought to use the cards as a banner! I don't think you used the colorful game pieces in the plastic bag. Wishing you and handsome Hubby a most wonderful Christmas!
What a great way to use up old are unused cards. Love this. I live in a small town in California City Calf. No craft stores so any new ideas are great. Thank you for sharing.
where is california city? is it close? no art supply store? do you do amazon? i try to provide links when i can....so...hang in there michele!!! see you on the table!!!
@@lorrimarie2002 California city is in the high desert between Los Angeles and bishop California. Near mojave calf. The closest Tuesday morning isc150 plus miles from me.. The closest Joanna Michael's,etc is about an hour from me, so consequently I improvise a lot. I do check amazon on occasion but being retired, it can be a bit pricey. Not to worry, I still craft on a regular basis. I make a lot of my embellishments and always look for new ideas. Happy crafting.

...if you keep walking on the way to craete these art-cards then a tarot deck of the new age will come out! ...in any case, the cards have such strong energy ...! ..i love the sewing elements and the dipping in wax ... pure transformation !!! ...and i love the banner-band ...looks like fallen roses petals... ..the domino and scrabel tiles and also the cubes ,the dark loose beads and the interesting bag with colores (maybe) wooden parts would have been really happy if you had processed them ... now they must wait and hope.... many greetings to california from hamburg
good morning precious dani!!!! thank you for playing on the table with me!!! tarot cards....now that would be a challenge! lol....and yes....you are right about the pieces that did not get used! maybe another time!!!! see you on the table dani!!!
I am so inspired to make a series of cards so that I can make a banner. I love that it allows one an opportunity to see the cards as a sculptural unit, as well as individual pieces of storytelling art. Thank you for an amazing channel!! I didn't see that you used the dice...
perfect sharon.....i did not use the dice....you are in the drawing and i am so glad you found some inspiration here!!!! go create, go play, go have fun sharon!
I love the banner! Such a great way to display the cards! I don’t think you used the scrabble tiles, though I’m not sure they’d have worked anyway! :) Good luck everyone ! Congratulations on 23k!
Happy Holidays LMJ and HH! Love the meaningful cards. Here's the goodies: R charm, dice, domino, Scrabble tiles, etc, etc, etc, bits and bobs = perfect collage ingredients for future art.
You inspire me to go play! I feel like I’m in kindergarten, free spirited with my supplies no matter the outcome 💜 all I can think of that you didn’t use was maybe the game pieces? Thanks for this card idea, so far mine are all in junk journals and I love this banner!
oh thank you joanna!!! i love how this banner turned out too! i love creating the cards....so i needed to find a different way of displaying them...so... ta dah....a banner! so joanna....see you on the table!
These are so much fun!! Altered playing cards are often used as ATC - artist's trading cards- so you would share the cards with others and they send one to you as well!! Can you imagine a banner with all kinds of trading cards from other artists!! So much fun!!
do you need some playing cards brandy? i have a ton and would love to share them with you!!! the idea of trading cards and creating a banner.....deeeeelish! go create, go play, go have fun my dear brandy!!!!
@@lorrimarie2002 - oh no I don't need playing cards--we can pick up a whole deck for 17 cents at our local junk shop. We actually did a private swap with some ladies in the village for ATC's-- and they are amazing!!
@@brandythompson6544 oh my gosh...you did a private ATC trade? i love that!!! thank you so much for letting me know! may 2020 be even more amazing...if possible! see you on the table brandy!!!!
I love how the card banner looks hanging up, that is a clever way to display them. Since watching your videos I have learned lots of new techniques. I might be too late to enter but I did not see the butterfly charm or dominos or dice or scrabble pieces or scissor charm used.
winner has been picked and it is still great to have your comment here leslie...thank you for taking the time! i am so glad you are finding some inspiration here! see you on the table in 2020!

On your table that you didn't use? I saw dice, scrabble tiles, and dominoes. Thank you for being such an inspiration. I only recently found your channel, but it's no wonder you have so many subscribers.

I think you didn't use the dominos or the dice you had on your table - but all the stuff you did use is absolutely wonderful as usual 😍😘 I would like to see how you coat your cards with beeswax 🤩

Hi LorriMarie, just Love this banner it looks awesome, your ideas are just better with every video you do, I don’t think you used the dominoes and the round circle plastic items on your table, it is 1.15 on Christmas morning and I’ve had a few glasses of wine Ha!Ha! I’m of to bed soon , my RAOK. Is I give my neighbours that live alone a little sweet treat for Christmas, and that makes me Feel good and Happy . Looking forward to seeing you do more magic next year, please keep doing what you do , it keeps us all going. Merry Christmas, P.S Hope Santa is good to you. LOL.💕
catherine.....merry christmas precious....you are right....i did not use those goodies....i am hoping the winner can use them tho! lol....you are in the drawing....see you on the table and i do think that 2020 is going to be a great year!!!
You did not use the Sorry game Pieces, the dominos or the scrabble tiles. or the dice! So much eye candy my head is spinning. I really enjoyed theses two videos. Thank you for sharing your creativity.!!
Inspired, intrigued, excited-which is how your videos leave me! And I don't think you used those little plastic game pieces? (I think they are from the game SORRY-memories of playing that as a child make me smile)
Hi! Thank you for another great mixed media video! I saw a cube(dice) on your table which I think you didn‘t use. And a big charm with an „R“. Wish you great holidays! Thanks for the giveaway! Greetings from near Berlin!
The use of text I love in most projects and love how this banner worked out. I must do more in 2020, that's for sure. I have actually almost finished one small book and it was fun. tku x
