Mate can't go wrong with a nice chilled chat about your favourite watches , dislikes and likes shows we're all human and the Dog letting one go classic , more of this is good 👍🏼 👏🏽
Love this video format, casual chatting. I recently picked up a superb condition 16570 polar from 2004 thanks to your recommendation. I am LOVING it. No holes case, and at first I was upset about it but now I’m glad it’s no holes. Gives it that extra touch of modernity… shocked at how accurate it is.
It's a pleasure hearing your watch musings. As someone who has no watch afficinado friends I'm largely having watch conversations with myself. For me the seed was planted at 8 years old and 30 years later it's going strong. Aim is to end up with a solid 4 watch collection. Any more and I feel that the 'value' I would place on each watch wouldn't be justified.
AC3 got robbed last night, his entire collection gone. Worth mentioning as some of us owe to the pontiff I suppose. Painful experience. Congrats on the bluesy, mate. Having myself a 5 digits rootbeer on jubilee for those special occasions. Great conversation anyway, keep it that way👍
I regret everyday not having my SKX. Better hide it away from you, and someday you will enjoy it as the first time like when you bought it. You can regulate it. But the SKX original it is a classic already.
Congratulations on coming out of the “two tone closet”! As usual: I love your honesty about your Watch collecting journey! I went through the same thing with the Bluesey and the Root Beer, if you are anything like me, you will wear them a lot less than your Steel pieces but you will still appreciate them and use them when the moment is right! Enjoy in good health sir!
I totally understand your comments about buying certain watches for ourselves and the character profile that we create for ourselves in our minds. I wear a nice watch daily and I figure that, as far as I can tell, 99.5% of people don't look at my watch and don't care. The only person who really cares is me. That's fine, I enjoy wearing what I like and what I feel fits me and who I am (or at least who I want to believe I am).
Great content! I am impressed you are juggling your main day job/business and putting up these watch videos. It’s fun hearing from a fellow watch enthusiast what their likes/dislikes and how they go about deciding their next purchase. I recently bought my first two tone as well and you are absolutely right that you have reach certain point in your life and achieve certain personal milestones before you feel comfortable and proud to wear a two tone! Looking forward to watching more of your videos. 👊
What I've learned is that I am always searching for that one watch that can fulfill me and can be my everyday watch. I'm currently trying on the Explorer 2 black dial and seeing if this will be it for me. I'm tired of looking for the next Rolex. I just want to settle down with one or maybe 2. One watch for everyday and another for special occasion.
Swear your channel is one of the only ones that i can watch in this this format 🤣 you can definitely hold a audience Lol You literally wing it! But always great content 👊🏾
@@SteelmoonWatches 🤣🤣🤣 literally its like a podcast. But not a podcast! I am sitting here thinking this guy had me thinking about my tea at 80c. Then Gym Lol. Then watches! Luv it 🤣🤣👊🏾
Great video.....I hope this Bluesy works out for you...I agree in that it's not an every day piece...... looking forward to your take on it.... here's a thought.... I've been toying with the idea of purchasing a sub 114060...... specifically because my Bluesy comes out so little.....I don't believe a Bluesy can scratch that Submariner itch..... it's more of a companion piece for me.
Also, congrats on the bluesy. I keep telling my friends to do what you are doing: buy now. Buy when there’s fear. That’s the right time. Subs will be 20K minimum within 3 years.
3:14 it's people that can't afford a batman or a submariner or what not. This is their way of making their Seiko (something they CAN afford) look like something they want but CAN'T afford or can't get due to availability. It's also why the homage market is so successful. Same thing with the fake watch market.
Love the casual conversation. I feel like I have the same taste as you, but you’re a few years ahead. I would be interested to know your thoughts on the 114300 op white dial. Only in production for 2 years, really clean dial. Boring or understatedly cool?
Great video. Could have been double the length and I'd still have been listening. Thoughts on IWC? I think they're releasing some amazing pieces recently. The new Mark XX is awesome.
I have the Marx XVIII - nice watch. Accurate, matte dial, very legible, simple. I like a good bracelet and the IWC bracelet beats everything that I have from Rolex, Omega, and others. I believe they have it now available for the Mark XX.
I have someone that will change my Skx009 using a Seiko 5 Donor, The skx original movement is not functioning right. I wear Seikos to work don’t like then knowing about my luxury collection.
I thought the 42mm and 43mm sea dwellers looked really proportional to your wrist. If you had to choose Rolex 16610 vs. Sea Dweller Red 126600 vs. New Submariner 126610 (Green)?
20:10 whaaaaa?? Craaazy! Why would you need to get rid of everything if you leave the middle east? Is it because of all the watch crime in all major cities?
@@SteelmoonWatches as someone who lives in a major city, I reciprocate your sentiment mate. It's sad having high end timepieces and not being able to wear them and if you do, good look trying to enjoy them looking over your shoulder in public every 5 minutes. Paris just recently surpassed LA in watch theft robberies with so many happening within miles of each other and in high frequencies. London is riddled, so is NYC, Chicago, St Louis, Seattle, Italy, you name it buddy.
