There was this 1996 rpg called Albion, where the alien cat-people had deep connection with the spirit of planet and important members could have their consciousness transferred into body of an infant, if council and the infant's parents agreed.. They had organ called kri on their foreheads that allowed this, limited telepathy if their kris touched and allowed selected few (forming guild of builders) to sort of program plants to grow into what they needed, through their connection with the Goddes. Other animals also had the kri, but it was simply to suggest common ancestor, no animal mind-..ucking. And despite human proportions, they were really alien- four breasts, face really looking as if it evolved from cat-like animal.. And I kind of prefer their civilization- they used their plant programing abilities to construct whole cities, buildings with organic toilents and flowing water (plant-pump was pride of the whole household).
I think its still way too early for anyone to really look at Avatar or Titanic objectively. Too many people are still bias, full of resentment and jealousy
This has to be a joke. Are we not allowed to look at Michael bays films objectively because they make billions of dollars. Furthermore Titanic was over two decades ago, film has only existed for barely more than a century. Its pathetic to cope by claiming people can't be objective when this guy made an hour long video sharing his opinion
So I do disagree with one thing, theyre not mind controlling animals. They are syncing their brains with the animal, the animal feels them as much as they feel the animal.
I think this may be the best avatar analysis I’ve seen probably next to James Rolfe I love avatar and it’s sequel way of water so I was seeing someone go both critically positive and a bit negative without shitting on the movie and calling it overrated is refreshing to see
1:33:22 There was an episode in courage the cowardly dog that had these 2 cosmic squids being romantic partners and both of them dying in the end and their babies going out into space to do whatever they need to survive. Moral of this comment: you don't need something to look human to convey romance or any other emotions in general.
Damn, could've fooled me with the community Updates. (i miss the old Nickelodeon Avatar :( I enjoyed this video essay, you made some very good points that I don't think other reviewers have picked up on and expanded upon them(probably helps with the analysis being nearly the length of a movie XD)
Terrible waste of time.this movie was a scam..and in what future world can you smoke in a laboratory?! I tried watching part 2 but just couldn't get past the first 5min..
Great video😄 It was awesome you talked about Avatar Movies and your opinion about it (As for me , Avatar were fine films . There were Pros and Cons in each movie , but it still enjoyable)
