Thanks for sharing your reactions, ladies! Naya and Andre were together for over 20 years, therefore realistically she would be experiencing a deep hurt for the loss of her marriage. Moreover, they appeared to be happy outside of their fertility challenges per season 1. Black women are vulnerable too and we are not machines that just skip past emotional pain.

New to the channel. I'm loving these reviews of AJLT. I'm a fellow Chicagoan as well. There's so much in this city that are staples, but a lot of folks have never experienced. The tourists and residents from areas outside of the city usually are the ones who partake in those types of attractions. When I was younger, I used to go to the Air and Water Show with my father every year. Now, I live in an area where the planes practice for the show, so all I hear for 2 or 3 days straight are the planes' roaring over my building for hours on end. LOL... smh. I'm too grown to appreciate all of that noise now. As for the Signature Room, I've gone twice. It's a beautiful space, but that Tilt ledge --- NO, Ma'am!!! LOL

It annoys me too that Carrie keeps referring to HER new apt as OUR new apt.. unless I missed something, he didn’t put any money down on that!! 😒

I think Samantha is going to make a guess cameo. Samantha is in Manhattan. She was walking her dog when Seema was looking her Birkin. That was the lil doggie that she spoke too! 👀

You guys are too funny! And I really like your recap. My humble opinion : Big was a mistake because he never put Carrie’s well-being first. Their relationship was always imbalanced that’s why he jilted her ( after 10 years of treating like a side piece). Also, he could never “ lower “ himself at her level and hang out with her friends. He was The only husband absent at Lili’s recital! ( he paid the price for that! Haha). He was also an unrepentant serial cheater (on two wives). No way he could have changed that much. Life is not a fairy tale ( unfortunately) . But hey, the writers said it was a “wonderful marriage “ and Carrie agrees so I’ll stop my rant 😊 When Che asked why they broke up in the past and Carrie answered that she did a mistake , I understood it to be referring to her cheating as it would make sense. I also agree with you guys that Carrie should stop saying “our apt “. It’s hers. That was some angry cry on Aiden. I thought they still had a chance to working it out by giving the kids priority for a change and seeing each other less for the first year so the kid has time to process. Also Carrie could do more travelling than Aiden for the first year. However, you guys have a point: Aiden still has some unresolved anger issue from the past and maybe he partially blames Carrie for him not being there for his kid! Anyway, I can’t wait for the next episode. I really hope there will be a third season because the last episodes have been much better! 🙏
