Aidan and Steve were partners in Steve's first bar and when Aidan and Carrie dated originally, Carrie and Steve developed their own sort of friendship outside of Miranda. That's part of the reason Steve felt comfortable going to Carrie about issues him and Miranda were having in their marriage. Carrie has always been Miranda's BFF but she also was/is Steve's listening person without being in the middle.

I completely disagree with y’all’s take on Che and Miranda… someone’s job doesn’t excuse them being a hypocrite I’m surprised you guys missed the double standard Che expects everyone to call her them because that’s how she identifies but they publicly shamed Miranda for trying to figure out her sexual identity???? Like make it make sense… she would have ulcer if someone got up there and did a whole set about woman wanting to be called a plural pronoun… she’s been manipulative, and self-serving and not once fully invested in Miranda like how Miranda(over kill)was with her. Che needs therapy not a new love interest

Che is an awful character. There is no way Carrie would be her friend IRL. They have nothing in common. If there is a third season, Che needs to be called back to LA. Or put on a Pelaton. Carrie has a long history with Steve but owes no loyalty to Che who sexually harassed her at work, abused her best friend, and is an all around jerk with no charisma.

I agree with @whatchuknowboutdat5740. Che was just awful. I think when they were looking back at their old stand-up from when they identified as a woman it dug up some past wounds and made them feel insecure so instead of making fun of themselves they spun it and roasted miranda.

I don't. I heard it was Willie Hardin's request that they not kill Stanford off. I thought this was a nice way to tie up his character - keeps him off screen, far away and not interacting with the other characters. Stanford came from money, so giving it all up to be God's Concierge is believable

Aidan’s son Wyatt probably will be moving to NYC, but I’m pretty sure he has Aspergers.. so Carrie’s gonna end up hating her life. The irony being that this kid wouldn’t even exist if she’d just married Aidan 20 yrs ago..
