Android Auto/Car Play Box Install- Did it Work? 

This video shows how to install an aftermarket Android Auto/ Apple Car Play box in a 2nd Generation Nissan Armada, Y62 Patrol, QX80 Infiniti. I can't endorse this supplier of this particular Android Auto box but it did work for about week or two, then it started having issues. I would get constant pop-ups on my phone for app connecting. I ended up deleting one of the connection apps. Z-Link was the go to app on this box for connecting but would only connect with a wired connection. After I deleted the problem app, I was only getting sound out of the small speaker. I disconnected the speaker and got no sound at all- even after doing a complete reset of the Android auto box, attempted updates and tweaking the settings in all different ways. E-mailing the supplier was a dead end. I would like to know if anyone has tried this install and if it has worked for you. When in doubt, figure it out. Good luck with your next project!
