Levy couldn't care a stuff about winning, or Tottenham, or football. Levy wants to milk Tottenham. Exactly the same as what Glazier is doing at Manchester United.
ok? And how is this the spurs fans fault? We haven’t won anything for 16 years so we don’t have a winners mentality, and ange had the chance to beat Chelsea, west ham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Brighton, wolves and Fulham but bottled all the games with his inability to adapt and change his tactics. Tbh I’d rather get Europa league cuz if we got into the champions league, Levy wouldn’t use any of the UCL money, and we’d get knocked out of the champions league. So another year without a trophy, but Europa league would give us an actual chance of winning a trophy, no point in competing in a competition if you’re not going to win it.
Imagine your first season at a new club as manager and you see your own fans cheer for the team that is beating you at your own ground... A new low indeed 🤣🤣
dawg he lost to an injury ridden Liverpool, Newcastle, and Chelsea and only now gets angry when the fans don't want Arsenal to win the league again at their own stadium
I have a very soft spot for Ange as an Arsenal fan. Dare I say, I really like him as a manager and his style of football is actually hella entertaining. He would do well at Man United or Liverpool with the financial backing.

@@Ice_surfer101 Not very bright are you. Now it's impossible to get top 4. That's the difference. Spurs fans willingly allowed their team to lose and make success an impossibility just so they could point at their neighbours and say "ah ha you lost" pathetic fans
Last night made me realise one of the main reasons Clubs like Liverpool, Man U, Man C, & Arsenal have won so much more - the mentality is so different. Remember when Thierry Henry was baffled by the Spurs players celebrating and getting in his face because they managed a draw against Arsenal, even though it wasn’t enough to stop them winning the league. Henry was like, “you’re seriously celebrating a draw?- we’ve just won the title at your stadium’”
I remember that day. The ref and officials were telling Henry not to celebrate if they win but because spurs player was getting in his face celebrating a draw Henry said f**k it and led the celebrations and we won The Prem Title that day😅
As Arsenal fan only thing is really respect about Tottenham is Ange and some of their players who actually tried to win. Mad respect for this guy. Hope some better team can respect him and offer him winning mentality.
Spurs fans please explain one thing to me. Why United fans didn’t celebrate Arsenal’s win last week. Even when they want Arsenal to win the league. I guess that’s the difference between a small club and a big club. It’s the mentality.

@@zacharysmackary8307it’s definitely the fans fault. They didn’t support their team. That’s literally the only reason to go and watch your team yet they were so worried about arsenal that they didn’t give the team the support it needed. Is it really that hard to see?

Because they always mostly finish in the top 6 which made them part of the big 6. But that could change with villa and newcastle now competing for european football too

For those people who think "aww, he won't leave! It's Tottenham!"... I've got news for you! After qualifying Australia for the World Cup finals in Russia 2018, he gave up the opportunity to take the team to the World Cup itself, citing irreconcilable differences with the management of Football Australia. If you think he thinks managing Tottenham is bigger that his own country, you've got another thing coming. I personally wouldn't be surprised to see him leave! The man is all about character & winning. Tottenham fans yesterday showed in spades, that is thin on the ground. Good luck with your strategy of working hard to see your opponents fail! See how far up the ladder it takes you next year without him!
I'm an Arsenal fan and we lost the League against Villa at home. I never expected a favour from Spurs, however I cannot fathom supporting another club over my own, nor wearing a shirt. Ange, leave, you're better than Spurs. As for Lubricant Club 115, there will be no "charges" only a disagreement between oil money the Premier League management
I cannot understand fans who will rather sacrifice champions League football with all the financial incentives it brings than see your rivals win the title.
Spurs will now qualify for Europa League which they can actually win next season. Top 4 isn't a trophy and it's becoming overly obsessed with by modern day fans. The whole point of wanting your team to win is so they can win trophies. Once that is gone then seeing your rival team also not win a trophy is the next big thing. Otherwise what's the point in these rivalries? I actually feel bad for spurs fans because I guarantee you any other clubs fans would've been the same way. Also top 4 was gone regardless. Villa won't lose to palace.
Exactly and I was one of them I don’t blame spurs fans I think Europa is better for them anyway, also marks a hypocrite when he became the biggest city fan for a day
yeat but probably they didn't cheer the opposition team during the match like tottenham did..theres a big difference in losing and consoling yourself that your rival wont win the title v/s openly celebrating your teams loss just so your rival wont win the title
4:34 so is it the money or the mentality that wins titles? In Spurs' case you're suggesting lack of fan mentality somehow correlates to not winning titles when I'd argue that lack of investment, selling our best player 1 day before the season beginning, starting deadwood in cup games days before selling them, a failure to appoint a set piece coach, and of course putting no effort whatsoever into adjusting tactical approaches against any side until the moment the fans don't care if they lose are more probable reasons for failing to win anything, none of which happen to be a result of fan mentality.
@@richardconte3837 No listen. I think there's a difference here. Look.. hope for a loss all you want but Actively Cheering every goal? Heads turned & Jumping in solidarity?.. all in your Home stadium!? Why did you buy tickets then?? This is 10yrs worth of banter, they'll never recover from this.
If you think City will thank you next year you're wrong, they'll hammer you home and away and step on you, your own fans happy losing and you call yourselves a football club
it’s not like they planned all of this. just give City the credit Mark. they just bottled it against City, of course Spurs wanted to win, in no way shape or form they wanted to lose CL football.
Honestly I understand why spurs felt the way they felt but how they behaved it was embarrassing man . Ange must have been shocked , poor man , I feel for him
The mentality of the players and fans can’t win, Ange was brought in to change this mentality and build a mentally strong team - He shouldn’t leave, he is here to change it
My question is how United could try that hard against Liverpool 3 times this season. Best old trafford atmosphere in years for Liverpool turning up. Now how have United played since ? Did they show the same energy against Arsenal or City ? Or Fulham ? Double standards really
that's not how that works, Liverpool are huge rivals, and winning against rivals is always going to be more important to fans and players than winning against non-rivals, but cheering for your own team to lose is so that your rival cannot achieve something is just stupid, considering your ruining your own chances at achieving something. Directly in a game, Arsenal would never try to lose against Chelsea so that Spurs couldn't make the champions league.
Why is everyone just assuming spurs fans didn’t want to win! Just because they bantered Arsenal after Man City score doesn’t mean they didn’t want to win. Mark is just fuelling making assumptions just because spurs and arsenal are rivals. It’s so frustrating, he even says the same thing that he wanted Man U to win against Arsenal so why can’t a spurs think the same!
Just because the team loses doesn't mean Ange does not have a winning mentality. On the other hand, not supporting your team (wanting them to lose) is a negative mentality. You might need to read that twice...
The whole season is ending in misery for me as a Spurs fan. A team that can't hold possession or beat defenders. If Ange persists on playing from the back than get rid of Richardlison, Emerson, Kulu, Davies, Pedro and bring in big tall fast defenders and wingers and strikers who are fast and can take on defenders at will. We also lack depth at the back and front.
Are we saying that Spurs players cheated and purposely lost the game? Or are we saying that spurs fans aren't bothered about losing to Man City? I'm confused. Because you're talking like they genuinely threw the game and lost on purpose. City won that game and were better. I'm not a spurs fan but they don't control how games go....and if they are happy that Arsenal won't win the league, then so what? This narrative is dumb.
Well said Mark. The hurt that Spurs should feel if Arsenal win the league should be the catalyst to fight like hell to win so you never forget that feeling going forward.
Ange is all over the place here, It was ANGE that told us he was not that bothered about top 4 or champions league football, It was Ange that told us he was not that bothered about set pieces, It was Ange that told us he was not convinced all the players and some staff were onboard regarding his system. Most of the singing in the stadium was mostly tongue in cheek, football loves gallows humour and that will never change ! - lighten up Ange !
Apart from the milk cup, the league cup, or whatever it's called, where the journey is only 3 games and the final is played in January, I don't see Tottenham winning a trophy, ever. And the only reason they could win the league cup is because they could draw clubs from lower divions. Absolutely shocking what happened yesterday. So many opportunities where a result at Madrid could do Barca a favor (or the opposite) and yet they remained professional.
To alleviate the problem the league could introduce a final series at the end of the home and away games. Say top two teams play a best of three games final series. It'll extend the year and bring more money in which seems to be a driving force.
Football is about rivalry .... As a LFC fan I have to say I'm laughing at Arsenal and their fans, as they laughed as LFC in their situation ... C'mom city....
@msimms-lp5qw Arsenal fans wanted Spurs to win so that Arsenal could win the league. Spurs should have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Man City if they wanted to do themselves a favor.
I think Mark is a bit off here tbh. I ve been a Liverpool Supporter all my life, and if Liverpool had been in the exact same situation against United as Spurs had last night against City, I'd also love to see the opponent win. BUT it very much depends on the situation. If Spurs had won the game, they probably still end up being in the Europa League anyway, cut Villa is defo not gonna lose against Palace. With that being said tho, if Spurs (or for the sake of the argument my own Club, Liverpool) had a smaller gap between them and Villa and they had the whole situation in their own hands, I am pretty sure they would have gone all in on the game (from a supporters point of view).
Can see it played on his mind as he bottled that shot. In fact all the players who have been at spurs for a while put on a shameful display. The newer players were alright as they haven't been corrupted yet.
Ben & Sim (on We Are Tottenham TV) done a reacting video to that press conference Sim made a great point... The main reason had that attitude was because the position we were in already Tottenham lost 4 or the last 5 games now! Went out early in both cup competitions (ok one was against City) so no guarantee Spurs would get top 4 so maybe this was the only highlight could have this season not justified! but Personally no bias option think he made a fair point.
Mark your ridiculous obsession with City is no different! Your jealousy is embarrassing to United fans we don't want to be like Liverpool fans! Let's get better not bitter.Congrats to City.
Mate Everton had a chance to beat City when Brendan Rogers were going for the league with Liverpool, Everton fans at Goodison were as quiet as they were at a funeral, They did the exact same thing
I completely agree, and before City won I thought why is the crowd so lackluster, why ain't they motivating them, it was so dead man city fans was more lively and then I saw thus video. We definitely have to change the mind set.
I'm gutted as a Spurs fan to see that. Pathetic. I can't believe these are the same fans who repeat club mantras without knowing what they mean. To Dare is To Do? Where is the echo of glory in defeat when the fans are singing in celebration? Miserable, small-minded, immature and pathetic. Also Mark, bang on about switching a winning mentality on and off. If you start thinking you can just turn it on when you feel like it, you haven't got it. The standards are non-negotiable, the effort is non-negotiable.
I'm going to give 1995 Liverpool an additional point, as club legend Kenny Dalglish was in the other dugout. EDIT: regarding League integrity, I've already given up at this point. Financial shenanigans, disgraceful (if not outright corrupt) officiating, teams putting out their reserves/not trying against certain opponents, and suspiciously convenient results that maintain the illusion of a title "race". Next season I'm intending to focus on St. Pauli's adventure in the Bundesliga.
Yeah and Kyle Walker(former Tottenham player) is in the Man City team, so what's the point? We had every chance to get 4th this year, but threw it away against Chelsea and Arsenal whom we should've beaten. The fans weren't playing, and it's the players playing the games.
If he has any footballing ambitions, then he would have to leave that club! Never seen a fan base that claims their club is a big club, happy to lose a game and finish outside the top 4! Imagine being the manager hearing your fans chanting "City till I die"
I remember years back Liverpool beat Blackburn which could have porentially helped their biggest rivals win the league but United drew at West Ham so in the end it didn’t matter. I think King Kenny was even Blackburn manager.
Fans are fans a manager is a manager two very different things you can not blame spurs fans bantering against their rivals losing the league. Spurs never had a chance in beating city nor getting into top 4 as Villa was too far ahead look at the league table mark. Villa is not losing to a palace side that is on holiday
as Arsenal fan I have big respect for united fans, when Arsenal played them they was supporting their team even though they don't want city to win the league. Spurs fans are an embarrassment to football.
Hypocrit. He's spent all week creating a toxic environment over this game. As for the game they played well and with a bit of luck would have got a draw
Nah spuds fans did it themselves, literally every single one of them except that Henry RU-vidr came out and said they want them to tank and will be twerking for city. You need help
Absolute Disgrace of a Fan Base .. Spurs..! Absolutely insane that they are focusing on another club, instead of their own matches & attacking Trophies.. *Now i get what the small club mentality saying means*
NOTHING is worse than when Manchester Utd fans supported Manchester City in the Manchester derby because they were shitting themselves that Liverpool would win the league. Lest we forget
@@buzzybeepopman2009 a lot of Man Utd fans took to social media saying they hoped Utd threw the game same way as a load spurs fans were the other night. As a Liverpool fan I remember vividly and I was shocked, that told me just how bitter a lot of Man Utd fans are, much more than Liverpool fans. We celebrated beating Blackburn in the 90’s last game of the season even though we knew it would mean Man Utd could win the league. Also check the scenes when collymore scored the winner against Newcastle ultimately handing the title to United
Talking about Blackburn as if the Liverpool fans didn’t all celebrate when shearer scored. Its not they wanted to lose they were happy with either result and that’s that
For spurs fans it was a loose loose situation last night. If spurs had won last night they would have been endlessly bantered for giving the league to arsenal. The fact that they lost last night now means that they are being ripped into for having a loosing mentality. The way I see it is that this argument of spurs fans having a loosing mentality is ridiculous. Every fan wants to see their team succeed at the end of the day. If people were realistic and reasonable it was clear to see that it was unlikely that spurs could get top four this season. On the other hand, Europa league football is pretty much guaranteed. Im not saying that spurs should only strive for Europa league btw I just think that it was the mostly likely outcome regardless of how the game against city went. Can you really blame spurs fans for taking a positive from a game that they lost (by potentially stopping arsenal from winning the league) when in all likelihood the result wouldn’t have change anything concerning where spurs finish this season?
@@paulrickett4402 I agree with you. I was just highlighting the fact that spurs fans were going to get ridiculed regardless of the result, and realistically loosing to Man City given the circumstances isn’t really that big a deal and probably wouldn’t have affected where spurs finish this year.
It's weird he didn't get that angry when we lost 4 in a row. Or when we lost to Fulham, or lost to Wolves, or Brighton etc. I wanted us to win yesterday, but failing that, this was the best outcome. We played well yesterday, and I'm sure that had we scored, the atmosphere would have been different, but let's be honest, other than Son's 1-on-1, we never REALLY looked like scoring, let alone winning the game. Anyway, had you offered us 5th at the start of the season, we'd have taken it. And just think, Arsenal's best season in years, and they still finish with the same number of trophies as us.
The thing is Mark, you definitely do have that mentality. I know for a fact you would have celebrated Man City not winning the league this year, so why is Spurs doing it so confusing to you?
Arsenal lost the league the moment they lost to Aston villa....but Spurs fans gotta be better than that, cheering your own team to lose against Man city to crush Arsenal title hopes is mental
Glad other fans think this too, if an Arsenal fan says this they say we are crying etc but tbh even though I'm disappointed I know we will challenge again next season. As for spurs, the cracks are appearing and they should be worried.
Fans are one thing. The damning thing about Ange's comment is internal. If its players and backroom staff feel the same way, Spurs have a massive problem. If thats the mentality Spurs will never win anything
The Liverpool v Blackburn, West Ham v Man Utd end of season matches had another twist though. Dalglish was Blacxkburn's manager! And every Man Utd fan I came across thought Liverpool would lay down for their old boss. Not the Liverpool way
They're charging Man City over a hacker leak of SUPPOSED things. And over half of them are nothingburgers like the pitch size being inadequate and other trivial stuff like that.
