You both look rested and beautiful as ever. Your strength, faith and perseverance prevails, but we are sending hugs and uplifting prayers because a broken heart is never viewable and Andrew is next to you always and forever. Here is to new beginnings and continued health and prosperity. Thank you for what you bring to all of us, still, around the world. Your experiences have touched tens of thousands of people and you have given so many comfort and hope in what they might be going through. I had to put down my 'crocheting' (LOL) of my granddaughter's Christening gown to type this to say thank you and wipe a few tears away....

Oh my goodness! This could just be one of the best episodes ever. Andrew would be so proud of you both. The finished sweater that Andrew was working on, the sleeves are perfect, the invisible darning of your Marie Wallin sweater, the Wing and a Prayer Farm interview, the continued interview on Bohus Stickning, and those beautiful children on the beach in Australia. I could not be prouder to be a patron.

I am immediately envious of the lady from Wing and a Prayer Farm. I can see and hear her contentment from dealing with her animals. I listened to her interview two times and there is great content about life in what she says, like her passing comment about diversity. She's the kind of person you hope to be seated next to at a dinner. How interesting she is and so passionate about what she does. I'm inspired to knit with Shetland yarn. I would never know about this woman if it were not for Fruity Knitting. Good job, ladies.

Everyone’s comments reflect my sentiments about this fabulous episode. I just want to add a thought about Andrew’s counting coins story. Andrea, I hope you rewatch segment 10:53-11:17 and watch just Madeleine’s face. This reminds me of the significance of the stories we share about the ones we have loved and lost. I hope you both keep saying Andrew’s name and continue to share more stories with us and with each other. They are gold.

The “Easter Egg” video of Simba and her lil’ sister at the beach knitting was so sweet. Simba has obviously some serious knitting skills. Heartwarming to see Andrew’s last bring and brag. What an amazing journey he made from his first hats, scarves, socks, brioche to complicated lace. I loved the Vermont Shepherdess story plus the Bohus Stickning kal - I have my eye on the Rain Cloud jumper, but I honestly have to finish a couple of projects before I start another. Excellent episode, as always!

Just want to agree with everything already said. I was blown away by the quality of this episode. The “angel wings” on the sweater are stunningly beautiful. You have to be happy yourself with the way they look, and I hope my name doesn’t stigmatize them, but they are beautiful on you. Madeleine has interesting things to say, and she is so honest and fresh. Thanks so much for her addition on a more regular basis. The shepherdess and the Bohus features were fascinating. And inspiring. Simba has the most resolute knitting style ever! Love to watch her intensity, she looks like a production knitter in training. Keep up the good work, this podcast is special. Thanks!!!

What a wonderful episode. I love angora and have raised them for 35 years . I have had all 4 types. This is a fiber truly worth exploring. Angora is 8x warmer than wool and is the warmest fiber on the planet. It was used by astronauts in space because of the warmth. Some types of angora are finer than qiviut. (Satin angora is the finest @ 8 microns wheras qiviut starts at 10 microns) Angora is so wonderful it can alleviate pain. It does this by increasing blood flow that reduces inflammation. This has been known in Europe for eons but is little known elsewhere. Angora blends are very nice but it can easily be spun and used at 100% and then crocheted or woven to overcome some of the difficulties of lacking memory. 100% angora works best for projects like wrist warmers etc to alleviate pain. But it is also beautiful and lasts for years and years.

Oh my Andrea, the sweater Andrew almost finished is so beautiful. You must feel his love every time you wear it and at the same time, know that it looks perfect on either of you. I'm so very glad that Madeleine is still at University! That's great news indeed but yes, that's a full schedule with the podcast and presumable some time with friends too. The stories of the angora and Bohus Stickning is fascinating and I'm so happy to know that there are cruelty free ways to care for and harvest the wool from the animals. Now we know to look for these vendors rather than less careful sources. Oh my goodness, those nieces are SO adorable. It won't be long before both are knitting beautiful garments. That poncho is certainly functional already and I'm certain will last a long time. Wonderful episode. You two make an excellent team. It's nice to have Andrew remain a part of the conversation because in addition to being such a lovely man, he was a core member of the channel.

That beautiful top is amazing on both of you. I think the sleeves are just perfect. Very feminine and beautiful. The way that Andrew knit the top of the sleeves with the lace is wonderful and the way that you finished them is just the perfect lace edge. So beautiful and the color is gorgeous on both of you, with your ginger coloring. This blouse is one of the loveliest you have created, and the fact that it was started by Andrew and finished by you is all the more special. This was a great episode. You are going through a hard time, but Andrew would be so happy seeing how you both are handling this podcast together. You are doing a wonderful job. The way Madeleine turns to you, and quickly counters “they do not” when you claim all knitwear looks better on her said so much. You & she are a great team, & I can very well imagine Andrew is cheering & beaming with pride from ‘up above’🥰 I loved both the Shepherdess’ interview & the continuation of the Bohus Stickning story - Pernille’s passion & devotion to this historic category of knitting and learning of her Angora rabbits is somehow so satisfying. I wanted to say Madeline's dress is stunning! It fits her lovely, young figure to a tee! And, the color in it is fantastic! You did a great job on this episode! thank you so much for information regarding Angora bunnies. I did not know that much about them. Also, I love your sleeve repair. I need to repair a blanket I knit a few years ago of 12 squares of different cable stitches. I think I knit it too loosely, and, did not anticipate our cat would love to pull at it. I am inspired by your repair work! I continue to keep both of you in my heart and prayers. I know the pain of losing a father at an early age (for Madeline and Andrew, both at early ages) as I experienced the same. I don't know the loss of loving the love of my life that Andrea has experienced, yet I watched my mom go through that loss. It is a terrific pain. You, both, will find light eventually, but emphasis is on the eventually.

Thank you so much for the Wing and Prayer feature. It's great to hear about fiber artisans/producers on this side of the pond. I live in Quebec, Canada and Vermont is a neiboughring state. She is located a mere 4 hour drive away from us. Can-US border just reopened this week, so I plan to visit her first chance I get. About Madeline's mittens, I took up knitting a couple of years ago, and my first project was a pair of leg warmers (Woolly Trotters by Garn Studio). To ensure that I would have the same gauge, I knitted them side-by-side, using 2 identical circular needles. This worked very well, and I used the same technique last winter to knit my first pair of stranded mittens (Cocker Spaniel Mittens by Connie H Designs). I was so pleased with the result that I knitted a second pair. This method has proven to be reliable and eliminate errors, such as different number of rows on each piece. Well worth the extra expense of a second circular needle. I look forward to seeing your finished product.

I read something long ago that helps me avoid a gap between needles. Rather than tightening up on that first stitch, it can be as sloppy as all get-out. But when you get to the *second* stitch, that’s when you tighten up (it will pull both the first and second stitches). It magically kind of locks the stitches in place. If you want to be really sure, you can do it with the next stitch as well, but i don’t usually find that’s necessary. What an interesting episode this is. Thank you!

So happy, to see well treated angora rabbits! Because of what others do to them, I couldn't wear or knit angora for twenty years.

So very special to see you and Madeleine today!! You are like family to me and I have missed you! Your sweater that Andrew knitted is gorgeous and wear it in his memory and with great pride. Keep Fruity Knitting alive, Andrea, and God bless all your efforts! I’m thrilled to see you again!! Hugs!!

It's wonderful to see the new episode. I love that you finished a gorgeous sweater Andrew started and both you and your daughter looked stunning in it. Absolutely loved the story on Bohus Stickning and especially the Angora rabbits. I had never heard of Bohus Stickning, and honestly, I knew very little about Angora rabbits. As an animal lover, it's wonderful to see someone who truly cares about these beautiful creatures. Oh, and the 'Easter egg' at the end....priceless ❤️

Thank you, thank you, thank you for publishing another outstanding video knitting magazine. My love of knitting would not be as deep without all the things I’ve learned through Fruity Knitting.

Another great episode. Such a lot to learn and a great window into interesting lives and ways. Madeleine is a perfect companion in the program and it's a great bonus that Andrew is included so naturally into the conversation. Take care.

Love your color coordination ladies. The green top was stunning. And so extra special since Andrew knit part of it. What a treasure. I really enjoyed learning about Bohus Stickning. It is fascinating. Thank you!!

What a lovely episode. And a precious garment as a bring and Bragg. Andrew would probably have said "You look stunning in it, Darls". And that it does. It must have been difficult to Finnish it. Beautiful girls at the end. And a good knitter already. Thank you for this moment of joy.

What a wonderful episode, dear Andrea and Madelaine! I was happy to see you again! And oh my gosh, I was totally happy to learn about a different side of the angora wool harvest!! I have heard somewhere about the cruel way to do that and never wanted to even think about buying it, - I did not educate myself further and was truly very happy to watch this interview with the footage of snipping the wool. Fantastic! The story about Bohus Stickning is amazing, the designs are beautiful. Andrea, it is wonderful that you finished Andrews jumper, it looks stunning! Best wishes from Mittelfranken , - hugs for you!

I think the edging you chose looks beautiful with the scalloped edging. I think it would look more boring if it was straight and level. I think it's perfect and looks very lovely on you! :)

What a treasure to have the top that Andrew knit for you. Like an Andrew hug whenever you wear it. Andrea, I agree with Madeleine...you are extremely clever to do that mending without the chart! Simba is amazing with her knitting! I can't believe how young she is. Thanks for a wonderful episode!

Every time I see a "thumbs down" above, I always wonder why? Fruity Knitting is ALWAYS my happy place! We will always miss Andrew but how one goes forward, with knitting, is what makes us strong.

I think people’s fingers slip when they are trying to do something else, especially on a small device. Or fading vision. I believe NO ONE intentionally gives a thumbs down to these videos.

Simba is just a wonderful older sister! Not only when she held her younger sister’s hand in woods or carried her over the obstacles, but also in this episode, she was very careful about her needles not being close to her sister. Such a considerate and caring kid.😊

Another superb episode. I was enthralled from beginning to end. The interview with Pernille was fascinating - the history, the rabbits and the beautiful knitwear. Thank you Andrea and Madeline, and Andrew’s spirit, which is with us always.
