the sample game on this track is so tight. the screaming noise thing in the verse is amazing. and the thing that goes like slidey click clack. fuckin dope.
I always hear my dad yapping about the Beatles and the Rolling Stones - and Pink Floyd was just too weird. He never saw any of them live, but I've seen AC twice now :-) Ooh, they're come to Utrecht in November, make that three times.
I love that guy's facial expression they flash on towards the end, when Avey starts screaming. It reminds me of how I felt the first time I listened to this song.
I went to their concert on September 26th, and was front stage. They had three or four of the same digitech pedals for sound manipulation, guitar, and vocals. I believe they were the rp400 series. Either way, I know they were digitech's. Hope this helps!
I got into the Residents a few months before these guys, and they're both perfect bands. Apparently, AC has influence from the Residents, and you can really hear it in songs like this.
i love that they use the same snare roll in the intro for this as they do in fireworks. good to see that they can make more than one song re-using the same material--and great songs at that
I really hate that people think they need to be high to listen to this music...makes me sad. Enjoy it how ever you'd like but don't restrict music like that.
You don't need that. Just enjoy the music and do what you do which is likely just freak out and enjoy the fact your part of one of the best things in the world

If ever I feel the doom and gloom that marks human history will continue inevitably because "there's nothing new under the sun," thinking of this video will rekindle in me a faith in ingenuity -- because of the band and the fact that I watched it on RU-vid.
@ZACHDISASTER I agree but I think that the music was made, and the video was made, in a way that makes you feel high. For instance, in the recording, the music sounded a little different, and in the video, the camera spun a lot and did crazy things like changing back and forth from one guy to another really fast.
se presentaron GRATIS aca en Peru y el jueves y me entere el sabado!!! :( they had a FREE show here in Peru on thursday and i heard about it on saturday!!! :(
And I agree to that. Shit man, I'm drunk. I can't wait for the Pitchfork festival so I can see these guys. Oh Lord! I can't imagine the awesomeness I'm going to experience.
I recently saw that at Sasquatch, and they seemed sober enough to me. But it was also 5:00, and I'm sure their drug use has diminished since the beginning of their career. Probably a good thing.
