Another Ram Recall 🤦🏼‍♂️ + I may have broken my 2022 Ram 2500, just a little.

That’s impressive. Do you have the eisen transmission in the 3500? Or do you have a 2500?

@Jason Johnston dude what a bummer. You waited long enough already! Hopefully they figure out the problem quicker and you can get it sooner than later in that first quarter.

@@gavinwalker5686 Yes/no. I miss my Limited interior and gauge cluster and sunroof. This one doesn't have a sunroof or blind spot which are my two biggest gripes about it. I needed the 4.10s in a 6.4 for towing and there were only 3 Laramie's in a 300 mile radius with 4.10s, so I had limited options. I miss the diesel torque off the line when towing, but no other regrets. Its nice not having to pay $5+/gallon. I'll post a video of it soon.

@MN WX Guy I’d consider a Laramie interior a step up from just about any other truck out there… except a limited Ram. Those are 👌! I’ll watch for your video to drop. Sure want many options, is it simply a shortage still or are the 4.10s a pretty rare option?

The only reason for the trade was fuel cost? Whats your day to day difference on economy?

@@gavinwalker5686 I found a couple of Big Horns that I was interested in, but they didn’t have power folding mirrors. 4.10s from the factory are rare up here anyway from what I saw. Tons of 2500s with the 3.73s.

@Didi Bolter hello! It’s good to hear from you again! The remodel got put on hold for a bit, work got busy for him and so we winterized it and hope to get to it later! And luckily my truck doesn’t seem to have the recall issue, and the tie rod is an easy fix, and it’s driveable just fine. So no 2 month repair this time 😂🙏 I hope you are doing well also!

@@gavinwalker5686 yeah when it's cool but otherwise humid, hopefully I will be doing some overlanding across the states and other places and see how it goes. Do have the 410 gears. When I do the traveling I will start posting.

Not a super loud clunk and not all the time, if I bottom out the shock there's a clunk, but not other than that.

@Didi Bolter I love driving in snow, but definitely would have not enjoyed white out conditions in a rear wheel drive mustang 😂 that would have been pretty sketchy! Glad you survived!

@Didi Bolter haha no way, you don’t bore me at all! I have never been to the Pacific Northwest but would love to. I’ve heard it’s amazing. Hopefully I can make it there someday soon with the family! We lived in northwest Florida for a while, and while it was fun, I’d take snowy mountains over a sunny beach any day! Although I do love both.

@Didi Bolter hahaha you crack me up! You are NEVER a nuisance! I do hope that we can get out and have some fun this Christmas break as well!! If I do I’ll try to make an interesting video about it. I’ll check on the status of that 5th wheel when I’m back in town, but last I saw he had it for sale and didn’t fix it up first. He decided he has too many projects 😬 But we’ll see! Maybe he’ll have to fix it up first and I’ll let you know!

@@gavinwalker5686 yea… well I’m going to pickup my truck tomorrow morning and I’m just gonna use it because I can’t afford to wait for a recall part to come in… I’m thinking if I just monitor the trans temps the chances of a fire happening is slim… what do you think?

@Mark David Casino yes I’d say slim, especially if you’re not towing. I’ve checked mine a couple times and I’ve had zero signs of bubbling. If you’re towing something heavy up a long hill, I’d watch that temp pretty closely.

@Juan Hurtado shoot, so it’s an issue then! Was your covered under warranty? Or was it a fix you had to pay to fix?

I would like to send you a pucture, but i do not know how, i fixed it myself just tighten up the nut so far i has’nt come lose again. Its the rear stabilizer bar that was making the noise i just remembered the name. Hope its helps you

@Luis Parada it was definitely frustrating when it was in the shop for so long. It’s not very professional to complain on RU-vid though, so I try to keep it positive and informational. The other smaller issues I don’t seem to mind, I guess I’ve had enough crap happen in my life that was a lot more inconvenient that small things just don’t bother me 😂 but there is still a lemon law case going because all these little small issues, mixed with the big one, do make me hesitant to own this thing long term.
