Thanks for making the video, I get where you are coming from. Im thinking of doing the same thing have been wanting to for the last 5 years and watch loads of these videos. Seem like a great life. My concerns are what to do for work,but am sure something will come up. Im giving up a mortgage and my family think thats mad. But they all have families and Ive never really settled, so why not try this.
Hi Ray, thanks for the comment. This was a terrifying video to produce as it was the first time I aired my feelings and emotions. Since this video has been produced I have been on an amazing journey of self improvement and soul finding which is what Van living has enabled me to do. Alternative living is the passion and love of my life. I’m so glad I made the decision all those months ago. That being said, it’s the most difficult, challenging, stressful and impactful thing on others I’ve ever done in my life. It’s most definitely not a path to instant happiness and there are many times you wonder why your doing it. Abuse from the public, no available toilet or shower you can instantly use, if you breakdown your home could be gone for months, an address for your bank and vehicle registration. These are just a few things to consider. I wouldn’t give up on the current stability you have without testing the waters first. Follow your heart brother🤙🏻❤️ all the best, JD.
