Loli is a type of character design that isn’t sexual itself. We all know the Internet can warp just about anything into a sexual version of itself. I like lollies and short characters. Plus a lolly isn’t automatically a child. My Senpai is annoying is a good example of that. In Genshin Impact I have a Lali squad because the idea of them fighting is entertaining to me.

There's definitely a gender bending / gender roleplay to a lot of anime including anime with lolis in it. I really like stuff like Breakwater club, Azumanga Daioh, Machikado Mazoku, etc. It's interesting to me to identify with these young female characters exactly because I'm an big, burley adult man. They're vulnerable in a way that I'm not and I feel like identifying with these characters gives me a wider range of human experience. Does that mean I'm trans? Hell no, I like to see it is that I'm more emotionally open to new experiences is all.
