Apple Pencil on iPad Air vs iPad Pro (60hz vs 120hz) in 240fps slow motion 

Remember - it’s 10x slowed down. In real life iPad Air is still very good. But iPad Pro is just amazing. And the screen is 100nits brighter on pro. I think both are worth their money, so it comes down to what you need from your iPad ;)

Also if you plan on buying one because of screen you might consider the 2018 iPad Pro 11” - in my review video I linked it in the description. It cos 599$ on amazon, and has everything 2020 pro has to offer minus LiDar and 6gb of RAM. Very good value

@@BernardWalter Exactly, my use case is note making. Is 2018 iPad with apple pencil 2 and promotion? Can you please suggest me wrt following criteria: 1. How different is it to make notes on 10.9 air, 11 pro, 12.9 pro. On the basis of screen sizes. 2. If say I am preferring 256gb air does it makes sense to opt for 11 inch pro instead? Like I said, I want to make notes, so maybe you can also share how is multitasking experience in all three? Do I have to zoom in/out continuously to read stuff on the 10.9/11 inch ones?

Yes, 2018 pro has both Apple Pencil 2 and 120Hz :) in the description i put a link to one on amazon for 669$ for 256gb (amzn.to/3mvnbks) it’s amazon renewed and they say to have 90 day return policy, so you can check it yourself, but: 11” inch is perfect for reading. It’s significantly larger than 9.7” and you don’t have to zoom in/out. I sometimes put it horizontally to have wider screen. For note taking it’s also super convenient without being too big to carry. 12.9” is better at desktop for drawing maybe, but I draw on 11” and love it. 10.9” air is virtually identical. I really can’t see the difference in the screen size, so if you want brand new iPad it won’t let you down ;) it’s snappy, powerful and big enough for student stuff - and to be portable. It’s not the procesor. Its the Screen. In Real life its much less noticeable and for notes the Air is perfectly fine :) I’ll do a review for students in particular (I am a student) so there will be a lot about note taking 😬 This video looks dramatic, but it’s more to appreciate Pro, and it’s mainly useful for drawing.

I mean the single core speeds are much stronger on the iPad Air if that’s your concern. I think they could easily make an update that fixes this.. I mean yea 60 vs 120hz but 60hz has no lag with your finger so why would it with a stylus? Kinda weird

Definitely, for people who want to draw. And even then it’s not a dealbreaker (original iPad Pro had 60Hz screen and artists loved it). Dow writing and note takin air will be just perfect :) As for the smooth as paper, you might consider screen protector for extra texture as without it it’s very slippery (well like drawing on a glass ;p)

Thats true, but also remember, that it’s adaptive refresh, so on the other hand it often slows down below regular 60Hz. And the battery is good on all iPads anyway :D But I’m sure you will enjoy yours, because frankly, all iPads are great and with iPadOS all can do 99% of the same stuff 😬
