Just got mine in the mail today. ru-vid.comUgkxhcEDB3r-OJ3_X5hQzr7k1ZofTQy1ao_U The corners of the box was a little smashed but I think that’s more of the shipping’s fault. iPad was in perfect condition though. I ordered the yellow one thinking it was going to be a bright vibrant color. Instead I looks like more of a Gold color. I personally prefer the gold look. Definitely not disappointed but just a heads up to the ones expecting a brighter cream of yellow.
That will be on my art channel. But currently, my favourite is still the Pelikan M200. Duke 209 with fude nib and maybe the Sailor Zoom nib for the extra thick lines.
display latency is input latency. input latency is the time it takes for the action to occur, in this case the action is occurring slower because youre getting less refreshes per second. the more refreshes the faster youll see the action.
@@Kartekid2233 what I’m saying is that when the screen refreshes, it will refresh to exactly where your pencil is. On a device with a higher input latency, the line would refresh at 60hz, but still could end up behind your stylus. Whereas with the Apple Pencil 1 in my experience, there was a much more pronounced delay
@@branpod mm that has more to do with the pencil itself than the refresh rate. there is always a bit of latency but the gen 1 was definitely far worse. Not to mention the ipad also had worse processors which hurts as well.
@@Kartekid2233 yeah, that’s what I was referring to when I used the term “input latency”. Sorta like how mice and keyboards have a defined latency measured in ms as opposed to the screen which is measured in hz.
Hey man huge fan...seen yoyr video but yoy were drawing and on slow mow so wasnt clear to me....how much of a difference if any is there when writing on the air 4 at 60hz vs pro 11 at 120hz? I am confused which one to take as a student as i am willing to oay the 200 dollar gap but literally only the 120hz is the reason to do so....b.t.w what do you think that the air is 40% faster, impacts on the longevity and speed of air 4 vs pro for me as a student?
There's no difference user experience with the iPad Air 4 being faster. You'll still be drawing at the speed with the same smoothness. However 120Hz vs 60Hz is noticeable. But it's not a big deal and I'm not sure if it's worth the money upgrading to that. Spending money on more storage, or Apple Pencil, is more useful than the 120Hz.
@@teohontech7141 Thanks you so much...so 12hz noticable but not a lot and a14 being faster will barely make an impact? Only at opening apps? 40% is a lot lol
@@user-qd7nv3ye3y When taking notes, drawing, email, surfing websites, it's not going to be 40% faster. Playing demanding games may be smoother. Or editing videos may be smoother.
Procreate, to me, has significantly more input lag compared to the default Notes app, which also happens to have my favourite pencil tool. I’m on the M1 12.9. Are there any other apps with as low input lag as the Notes app? Procreate isn’t it D;
I have the same question, is it slowed down? Id kinda want to see how it really looks like, is it as noticable in real life ? The 120hz is the only thing thats making me question i want the pro
Video is slowed down to show the latency effect more clearly. Latency on 60Hz display is noticeable but it’s not a big deal, at least for me. Note that even on 120Hz, apps that are not optimised will look as if they are running on 60Hz display and will still show similar latency as the iPad Air.
Listen guys. In my opinion when we all talk about "latency", we usually forget the fact that the screen refresh rate is parameter that describes the output of the display only and latency in itself depends on events starting from 'putting pencil tip on screen to observing image on screen'. We lack information about "touch sampling rate" of the new Ipad Air too. I read somewhere that for the Pro it is 240Hz while using Pencil. I cannot find values for the Air.
As someone who bought a Pro for this issue here's my advice. (IDK about drawing) 120hz looks Amazing however apps like RU-vid and Tiktok limit videos to 60fps. But if you're more into browsing and Twitter the 120Hz will matter. However... Low Battery mode which you will probably use a lot will limit the fps to 60... Overall if you're getting a 10th gen or an Air you ain't missing out on a lot unless you browse and use Twitter/reddit a lot however if you're buying a 256GB IPad Air Please Stop Just buy a Pro at that point.
@@teohontech7141 Would it be better to go with the IPad Pro 11” or 12.9” would be my next question. I see that the 11” is on sale for $750 which isn’t bad and 12.9” is on sale for $1000. IPad Air 5 is $600 though.
@@Natzawa See if you can get the refurbished iPad Pro 11 (2020) with 128GB storage at a good price. That is the model I always recommend for those looking for 11-inch tablets. Or the refurbished 12.9 iPad Pro (2020). Check the Apple Store refurbished section.
@@teohontech7141 Hey should i get iPad Pro 2018 refurbished or for similar price iPad Air 5 with M1? The main difference is M1, 60hz, and 64gb instead of 256. If i get the 64gb Pro, it is $470 compared to $520 but if i get 256, it is $20 more than iPad air with 64gb.
Düşününce günlük hayat için küçük bir fark ama nedense bu videolar içinde ipad pro almak isteyip ama ona para vermek istemeyen bu yüzden air 4 için kendini kandırmaya çalışanlar için biraz üzücü bir video
Video yavaslatildigi icin boyle gozukuyor. Air ile pro arasinda ram disinda pek bir fark yok.ikisini de kullanma imkanim oldu birebir ayni sayilirlar. İnsallah alma firsatim da olur. Devletim 1 tane de kendine istedigi icin alamiyorum simdilik

This video is intended to show fellow artists who are interested to know what is the difference when drawing with promotion or without, to make purchase decision. Yes, showing scrolling the internet/facebook is far more noticeable, but that's not answering the burning question the artists has.
@@calyco2381 your opinion because other people dont have interest of the comparison the important they can use the tablet and its already fine for them its still depends on their preferences and needs
@@calyco2381 i remember that 60hz was enough for people who want to play the games with 60fps with high resolution graphics and watching video is already great for them
Nothing below A13 chip will be able to play real console level games and future proof, better go with the air 4 than pro 2020. A14 chip is no joke plus 256GB for cheaper
Console level games need good gpu, considering iPad pro 2020 has better gpu than iPad air 4, pro is better for gaming and creative purpose also with 120hz display.
