j. mie Unlisted They missed me as a study subject. Words are boring, not all women like it. I'm visually oriented not verbal. A lot of women are not into words, they are socialized to feel ashamed of sexual/visual, that is why they don't talk about it. Anyone can respond to words, including men. If I were married and my husband was talking to me all day, I would think he has bats in his belfry. They studied brainwashed women, or the women were afraid for "slut shaming" if they showed a visual response.

Any study is based off the norm of the group and not the individual. Of course your going to find the exception to any study. The video is referring to most women. There is chemical and anatomical data that prove that what was said in the video is accurate. I also take exception to your statement that words are boring as many poets, lyric writers, authors, and lectures would also agree. Being more verbal or more visual is not good one over the other as they both have function and have their own pleasures. I in fact participate in both with much enthusiasm. I understand you were just starting a conversation with your myth comment but that in itself is a bit of an oxymoron. Peace out !

j. mie Unlisted The norm must be very brainwashed. It takes a woman, who knows themselves to go against the grain. They find this norm, because of social norms, not because anything is innate. It depends on how women are brought up. If a researcher takes a bunch of women and questions them, they could be getting very false reports. Not saying the women are lying, but they are following a social construct, instead of saying what they really think or feel. What I'm saying is , researchers are studying socialized women, not women who know better than to be socialized. I know so many women, that don't respond to words, it doesn't turn them on. This got started by Mars/Venus and Shainti Feldham, I'm not out to change other women, but merely saying that many women are not word oriented. I'm not saying one is better than the other.

I am a 39 year old man who was abused as a child by both sexes... God is working with me to heal me and make me the man He wants me to be... But watching this video makes me think twice about getting married... I just don't know if I can die to myself any more, I'm almost 40 and there's not much give any more. I just don't know.

Try not to cut yourself off on the possibility of change. God is a miracle God and ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. Try listening to videos (like TD Jakes also) that promote a change mind. I can hear the small voice that want to get married in your statement in spite of the unfortunate circumstances. Forgiveness also has a part to play in here as well. And remember, change does not have an age. But our days are numbered. Don't wait till it's too late and then you'll have regrets because when you look back, you'll see you had the opportunities and only YOU were your own distraction from moving forward. Be Blessed :)

You CAN be healed of all your pain. Go to Amazon and get a small book by Emotional Healing in 3 Easy Steps by Praying Medic (Dave Hayes). It’s a deceptively simply quick strategy for anyone, even war veterans to get their emotional pain reduced and finally eliminated. I am a survivor of serious child abuse, rejection and neglect. When I first read this booklet, I dismissed it as being too simple to be effective. I was wrong. I needed healing from rejection by my youngest son. I had a broken, shattered heart 6 weeks ago. I did the steps several times over several days and now I am at peace, complete peace. Do get it and be amazed. God bless🙏✝️💕

I actually have a problem as a female...that tear that is "allergies" is me, but I might break easier in marriage counseling ... maybe cause it feels like I"m in a doctor's office. lol

I like jimmy evans I think that he is an incredible teacher. I actually think that this is advicee it's not too good. There's so many narcissist and psychopath nowadays, so just open your soul up to allow them to heal you is very very dangerous and risky. I believe you can open up to trust someone but only the holy spirit is the holy spirit can really heal you. I believe if you start putting people in the place of the Holy Spirit of Jesus you're going to get caught up in some type of messy

My wife is not a master of her emotions. She's all over the place and allows her emotions to control her decisions. More than enough, making decisions that way, has resulted in shooting herself in the foot. Now add all the new age bs that women don't need men or whatever man hating speech is out there, I have no say in anything. We do it her way or no sex for me, she'll go behind my back and do it anyway, or she'll just assume she has all the rights to the kids and take them and leave until I comply with what her and her parents have decided we are going to live. I'm a hostage by my own making by getting married. No Matt How many times she hears from our marriage counselor, our pastor, marriage seminar speakers, reads the Bible, it doesn't matter. Their feelings trump everything. Just fyi, the parents, who she gets her marital advice from have 5 divorces between the two of them. My life sucks

Instead of focusing on what she’s doing focus on your behavior & what your role is, God teaches us even w our difficult spouses it is a way of Him teaches us things about ourselves. Instead of complaining pray for her, God can do ANYTHING & he loves his children He can pull you thru this & will bless you if you seek Him & honor your wife even when u butt heads. May God be with you sir ❤️

sorry, but some women are looking to dominate the relationship, brawl, find fault, and take opportunity to wield power and control, and catering to her every emotion and meeting her every demand is like giving a flamethrower to an arsonist. he speaks as if the wifes behavior and words all depend on the husband correctly doing his job. Most working men spend most of their time earning a living and handling life and bills, and to also have to almost be obbsessed with the wifes every need and whim is overwhelming. There has to be a give and take and a healthy balance. If spouses are unhealthy individually, especially psycologically, that has to be dealt with before this can work.

No man can meet every need of a woman. What he's saying is that if we want a happier, healthier relationship, we need to try to meet our spouse's relational needs. We cant expect another person to make us happy and whole. That's what God is for. Its pretty easy to look to other people to meet our needs, though, and we will always be disappointed when we do.

Not every woman is the same. It's really annoying and discouraging when people assume every woman is emotional, nurturing, and wants to take care of everyone. Please consider women who are intellectual or more cerebral and have different needs than this. It's not sinful to be a thinking and not emotional woman. Trying to fit into these cookie cutter Christian molds messes me up so bad, it seems there is no place for me in God's kingdom sometimes. I'm not this person and I can't be.

He's generalizing,both men and women have masculine and feminine energy but it is a fact women lean on the feminine side,to varrying degrees of course.,yes some women are more masculine than others and that's okay.
