Hello, I’m mostly self taught. I took a couple years of community college after high school. I’ve been fortunate in that I work for a company that has given me a lot of opportunities to learn and develop my skills and learn multiple robot and automation systems.

Yes it can work with any stepper robot. I’ve had many people build custom robots and use this software

Elias Brassitos When running program code I have configuration settings to deal with singularity issues in the program but when jogging you still have to pay attention and not jog through singularity

I havnt tested it with a wired controller but It should work just the same. I'll have to see if I can find a wired controller and confirm.

@@anninrobotics I have a wired one I can test with once I get enough of it put together. I was just curious if I need to order the wireless adapter cause it required that specifically.

I don’t really know of any good books in particular, most of the books I’ve read have been frustrating in that most are written from the perspective of someone who already knows the material but not good at explaining from a starting point. I’ve made the most progress in picking a simple task, researching using online articles and forums such as stack Overflow and then building from there.

This is a proper robot arm ! Great job ! Im currently a engineer student in automation and I made a robot arm with reverse kinematic too, you can go check my video, but your is clearly to a next level. Can your software be modified and work with a different 6 axis robot? I also wish I had the budget to buy your kit, awesome work

How do you make the linear move so that robot orientation stays the same? If you just do the linear interpolation then you have tons of solutions of how to position robot, but if you want the orientation of the tool to be the same, how do you do that?
