I think the Lady Danbury duty scenes are there to show the depth/layers of her character. So when we look at her conversations with Kate in Bridgerton 2 her words have weight and she has EARNED her current lifestyle.

I don’t think the lady Danbury sex scenes are meant to be comedic. We are looking at what marriage looked to young lady D. This defines many of the decisions she makes.

I cannot believe I've cried over this show and King George III specifically - like I have to keep telling myself that these are just adorable fictional depictions of them bc irl King George III can rot. Both Danbury ladies are amazing and STUNNING! But I have to say, though the young Danbury actress has gotten mannerisms down the actress playing Charlotte is perfect! She did her homework. She talks like her, speaks like her, perfect facial expressions, perfect mannerisms, even stops like older Charlotte. People have been saying how perfect young Danbury is for the role but we need some more respect on my young Charlottes performance

I also hated the continued sex scenes of lady D, I think that first one was enough to let us know the nature of her marriage, sadly though lady D marriage was probably more commonplace than the love story we see with George and Charlotte.

I do not understand how people loved Anthony and Kate story so much. I hated it. He was so stupid in it, I couldn't bare. So frustrating, Simon and Daphne had nothing on them!!!!
