Almost every time I move something cracks. It's not painful but it's kind of embarrassing. I don't want anyone to think I am getting old. I'm not even 30 yet. How can I stop the noise??
@@bloroxcleach3439 Its probaly because you are in puberty and your bones are growing or drink more milk idk.if you do sports that may be the cause also.
I'm seeing a lot of comments from younger children and teenager. One explanation is that your body is still growing. I started having popping in my ankles around age 11 or 12. It started that way just when I would rotate it or stretch it out. Then, it happened every time I stepped down when going up a flight of stairs. I'm 21 and it has not stopped. Now, my back and shoulders particularly pop into place when walking (the former) and reaching (the latter). That has been going on for awhile too (maybe 15? But the lower back was most recent). Also, my knees tend to pop when bending. Then, I finally made it to the chiropractor at 18. They found my popping odd since they had popped it once customarily and told me to rotate my shoulder after they popped it - it popped again. They did it a few times before they had me sign their forms for insurance and took my x-rays. There is a small curvature of my spine and one shoulder is higher than the other (could be because of the scoliosis but who knows). The few times I went to the chiropractor really helped because all they did was pop my back and shoulders, then it wouldn't really pop for the rest of the day. When I stopped going, I regretted it immensly. But then the next year I started working out and going to the gym. It helps! Guys, if it's just the ligaments stretching then the key is to build up your body. Stretch within your limits and exercise regularly to build some muscle. It doesn't help completely but it does reduce the craking that sometimes happened in the middle of a quiet classroom. Just simple stretching and weight training helped a lot. Stretch every morning to get all the cracks out.
Okay so i need help with figuring this out. Someone help please. I'm 17 and every time I rotate my right hand/ wrist clockwise, I hear a pop in my wrist, particularly on the inner wrist area where your thumb is, but it's not my thumb that's popping, it's the small little bones that are in between the hand and the forearm bones, I don't know why it makes this pop but if I don't rotate my right hand/wrist, I start to feel a pain and I then I have to rotate it clockwise. I don't know if this is due to the fact that I have sprained my right wrist twice in the same exact place(which is evidentially a coincidence when you think about it) or if it's the fact that I've been a baseball player for 9 years and I'm primarily a pitcher so I'm constantly snapping my arm/wrist down to create velocity. But it would be very much appreciated if someone told me how to fix it and what it possibly is that is causing the pain and the constant pop whenever I rotate my right hand/wrist clockwise
@@isaacjaros23 ye i hate when we get these small body symptoms but what you can do is try avoiding putting too much pressure on to ur wrist because its a sensitive part in our body. last year I had a operation because I had a ganglion cyst in my wrist so it had to cut off. Basically I got it because I was not in a correct position of typing my keyboard or maybe because of wrong workout out positions but yes try avoiding doing wrong doings with your ankles, wrists and those sensitive areas in the body. I guess this helps u
I'm 13 and it happens in my knee' elbow, thumbs, wrist, back, shoulder and neck. It always feels tight and annoying I can't keep still. I can feel it crack when I twist my wrist it just cracks and cracks and cracks
Hydration people.. You're body is made up of up to 70% water.. Try to stay hydrated by drinking, sipping 3 litres of water a day to start with.. You're body will thank you for it by removing toxins, weightloss, clear skin ect.. And importantly, better mobility with less to no cracking joints. Hope that helps. 🥛👍😊
I am a massage therapist, and have found that softening the muscles surrounding the cracking joints eliminates the phenomenon on my clients. I will find it interesting to hear in future videos if you find the same.
It happens to me all the time. It started with the neck and now it's happening with my spine and elbows, it doesn't caused me pain or swelling but I'm scared of it.
I'm 16. It seems like every time I place my feet on the ground, my ankles crack. My legs sometimes crack in the place where they meet the pelvis. However, there is no pain. I'm just wondering why I crack all the time.
It's Just Me I'm 16 as well I have pops in my knees all the time and in my back when I exercise constantly especially when doing abs and it's more than 1 pop at a time
Same it's so good same thing applies with my arms and my elbow it's so nice but weird and sometimes if I put a lot of pressure on my foot then it cracks so slowly and if then if I move it in a circular movement it cracks so hard 😍😍😍
Whenever I go to work out, my elbow, top of my arm, neck, and legs click and it's annoying. I have no pain but is it the fact that I've had tons of operations on both because I used to be able to do a one handed pushup now I can't even do half a two armed one. I'm sad because of how much being in hospital has taken my confidence away
I have had a significant increase in cracking joints over the last 2 weeks; no heat, no swelling, no redness almost no pain. Are my joints suddenly forming more bubbles that pop? I am in my late 40s.
I hear cracking from my neck, shoulders, knees, elbows FUCKING CONSTANTLY, every single movement while trying to workout, doing chores, archery. It hurts when it pops but that's it. I'm only 15, what the heck Is happening???
I get that its somewhat normal but its getting worse for me. I even have joints cracking when i inhale. This cant be normal i never had these problems before.
@@claws1992 i have. Needed to change my diet. I was a vegan for a long time and started eating red and lean meat and liver, eggs and fish again also i took collagen supplements and vitamin c. I took a load of other supplements too. Vitamin D in oil is very antiinflamatory and cold showers activates the vit d in your body. A lot of running every week which i could do again because my calf muscles got strong again. Im getting better every day. Maybe seeing a physiotherapist or something is also clever which i didnt do i just stretched myself a lot and loosened the blockades in my spine by pulling it longer with my hands pushing against my legs. Its not fun to do but it seems to help. All of this started with eating fishoil supplements which must have given me enough vit b12 again to feel my body again i was very numb not fun at all but after you get better you will deeply appreciate being healthy.
I'm 18 and the same thing happened but all my joints creak as well like an old door. I went to doctor after doctor and I was told by all of them that I'm young and should be fine...
@@crishy1166 I’ve been diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder and arthritis. I have a lot more ways to cope with the pain and strange noises and feel a lot better about my choices. It hasn’t gone away but I do have a good support system now!
My body is cracking all the time. It used to be only my ankles, which started at the beginning of the pandemic. Now it's everything. My neck, hip, left ankle (right stopped for some reason), arms and wrists. I can't stop worrying
@@crishy1166 i went to the doctor and he said it was normal as long as I didn't do it on purpose, because every time you do it on purpose, it takes a little bit more to make it crack until one day you actually break something. Right now I'm trying to stop cracking my left ankle all the time. I occasionally hear other parts of my body cracking but now that i know it's not that bad I don't worry that much
Get the doctor to look and see where your popping is. I had constant popping in my hip, I started to watch my nutrition, doing yogi squats to stretch my hip adductor and abductors out, and the popping went away completely. STRETCH YOUR BODY PARTS. I cannot stress this enough, sure and MD or professional can look at it, but if you treat your body right, you can fix it easily.
It boggles me that there are things that we can control like moving our limbs but things we can't control like muscle spasms that the brain does itself, if the brain can do certain things on its own that we don't think about or cant control, but also can compensate and adjust to the things we can control but we don't know is hurting ourselves now and in the future in any shape or form.... Who or what is really in control? Theres living things in our bodies that we don't think about but it freaks me out just knowing about it. Like our brain could be like a galaxy, so much we can see but soo much we don't know. What is stopping something... Anything from controlling us? Our thoughts? Our movements?
My knees have cracked over 40+ times today. I've lost count. It's embarrassing. I don't want to do it, it just happens. Recently,my knees have been a aching.
Oh damn thank you, I can crack almost all my joints and some i can crack as much as I want. I thought it was bad because now I can crack my elbow a lot
I can’t even BREATHE without my neck and respiratory system popping and cracking down to my rib cage and my spinal cord… literally I can’t do anything without my body popping
Interesting, i was always advised to stretch my lower back whenever i feel tension there while in a seated position. I never knew that twisting your spine might be damaging. The more you know
Every time I move ALMOST ALWAYS there’s joints that crack. It’s so annoying and embarrassing when I’m around people. Does anyone know how to reduce it?
I have these and is getting worse and pain , I have fibromyalgia but these symptoms seems like ligament laxity , I hope someone is read this and can help me
I'm 32 and I feel like my joints have always been loud but I can actually hear them now. Last week I bent down to pick something up and as I stood up my joints cracked and my 2 coworkers faced me and thought that I'd broken some bones due to the big cracking sounds and when realized I was okay they turned towards each other and laughed 😭😭 I was so pissed and embarrassed. Funny thing is that I've done contact sports and have broken not one bone in my body, my friends always envied my strong bones, I feel lucky too. My joints don't hurt when it cracks and it feels really good when I stretch and the joint cracks just pop in harmony like a popcorn bag in the microwave. It can't be that I'm still growing, I'm almost twice 18 yrs of age. What could it possibly be?????
I have this in my ankles, knees, hips, lower back, upper back, neck, wrists, elbow, shoulders, and I've grown to have a really bad lower back pain problem, sometimes my knees and ankles even hurt, recently found out I have a misaligned spine and need to see a chiropractor but can't die to corona
I was a 13yrs old Bodybuilder i used to workout without stretching before set and got shoulder dislocated without pain after 2 months i saw my lower spine became uneven and starting some of my joints starts to pop sequencely like yeah all you got to do is be clever before aworkout do stretches and keep exercising to strengthen loose joints and feel better
Oh thanks u have given me a relief I started experience in elbow but now it was almost in the every joint I was starting to get scared that may be there is something wrong with me but u say that it's normal then let me be at peace thanks alout
I know for a fact that these doctors know nothing about this popping sound because here is the deal: Right now my spine is cracking constantly and my back is hurting...but other times, my back will feel perfect and I wont even be able to crack it even if I try...which to me indicates 100% that the cracking is signaling a PROBLEM....it is NOT OKAY to constantly have your spine and bones be cracking....there is a weakness, a deficiency.....and you doctor peeps can't explain it nor can you fix it.
My knees, elbows, fingers, neck, wrists, feet and toes crack and I always fell the urge to crack them especially my neck and i can't get to sleep unless I crack my feet and toes help
I did push ups and also did a stretch where you turn your body/arms like a twist and ever since then my body hasn't felt right its been making popping sounds and I can feel it too. I also feel SLIGHT pain in my lower shoulder blade but yeah my arms and back are popping like crazy still
Great info, much appreciated. I’m 44 and have noticed in the last year or more that many of my joints (ankles, knees, shoulders, elbows, and wrists) are all audibly popping regularly. Luckily I have no pain, redness, or swelling, but it’s quite noisy and a bit embarrassing at times. I have had loud popping ankles since I was a teenager but in the last year or two all these joints are popping and locking 👴🏻. I’m fit and active and eat a healthy diet. Are there any dietary adjustments or supplements that could help improve or reduce the popping ? Thanks
@@djdrisco123 fast forward 4 years and the same theme continues. I’m very active and slim and most think I look younger than my age, but I really feel the like in falling apart lately. I tore my meniscus surfing last summer and dealt with that for 6 months before having knee surgery. Now 3 months since surgery and my knee is still not 100%. Luckily it feels fine enough to do gym workouts but tennis or anything athletic would be tricky still.
swelling, or potential fluid build-up that occurs with popping . Osteoarthritis: Arthritis is a condition in which cartilage begins to rub away, leaving bones unprotected and creating inflammation. Cracking knees and joints is sometimes caused by vitamin D and calcium deficiency? Is an ultrasound of the author joint, like a wrist required for a good diagnosis?
I got cracking sound from almost all joints in body, since fifteen days, even others can hear it. I was diagnosed with cervical and now this... Please tell any steps I should follow
Shree same here. I have cervical from one year and now all joints are cracking and also I have feel my left shoulder is damaged severely 😢 I am in agony 😢
I have lots of symptoms (I might suffer from fibromyalgia: tinitus, all mu muscles are hurting and they are contracted all day long) among them this cracking sound in ALL my joints. it started back in 2014 with my ankles and now even at my slightest movement, my joints crack: my ankles, knees, hips, all the spine, the lumbar, the elbows, the shoulders...my question is: this cracking could be related to fibro? thank you in advance, Doctor.
you not alone. after cov19, i started poping also. all my joins: knee, elbow, shoulders, i sit it pops, i stand up it pops, sit again same. every movement its poping. and i god painfull left shoulder... try supplement to get ir off it

I am.39 years old. I have stiffness, poping and cracking all the time. I gave up soda. Gave up sugar, started Juicing, been taking a multi vitamin, b12, vit C, magnesium and other cartilage helping vitamins. I get exercise every day. I am slowly losing weight but I am so sore and stiff it's hard to get up from my work chair and walk. I've made a chiro appointment to see if something is out of wack. I forgot to mention that I have psoriatic arthritis but since juicing that is slowly going away. I would like to have it completely gone. What else can I do to help my stiffness and soreness of my muscles and joints. I also suffer from Gerd, but I'm trying to get that under control too. I could really use some great advice. I've been to the doctor a ton of times, but all they want to do is push pills and not find out the cause of my problems. Please help.
Try collagen supplements. Your body stops producing collagen when you get older. I buy powder mix with vitamin C. Also if your eating gluten or dairy you could be allergic and your body attacks itself by swelling, joint pain. Also black seed oil helps and tumeric with black pepper.
I'm 36 and have had back problems . sciatica and chronic stiffness in my legs and back for 12 years. Turned out my addiction to suger , salt and beer was the big problem. I ate so much salty junk food and add salt to my tea every night , that the salt started causing burning behind my ears and across the back of my neck. The back of my ears were red and raw all the time .It was like sun burn. I was in constant pain for years. After I stopped eating salt the burning stopped in weeks. And within 4 weeks I could touch my toes without even trying. All my back pain is now gone after 6 weeks. I sleep like a baby now. I also found out I'm allergic to beer. After drinking beer every night for the last 5 years I stopped. Even If I have only a few beers I get inflammation in my spin and it causes pinching of nerves and I can barely stand up properly within a hour of having a couple beers. I also have very clicking joints. From what I have studied it dairy products that causes it . And gluten products will make you feel tired after eating. And cheese sandwiches have been my go to lunch for year's . So I will be given them up next. Drinking distilled water for a few weeks every year really helps detox the liver and kidneys too. 3 litres per day. Start eating food high in magnesium and potassium. I have found peppermint tea with add molasses really good and lemon honey drinks. Watermelon or any melons are my go to super food. Eating a good few portions is like taking 1000mg of anti- inflammatorys. Hemp seeds are great for you to. Another super food.Good luck. Hope you find out what is causing your problems
In the last few months I snap, crackle and pop in all joints, I have recently been diagnosed with Osteoporosis, was wondering if this was part of having Osteoporosis. Does it have anything to do with Calcium. I was recently diagnosed with basal ganglia brain calcification in brain, and wonder if it has to do with Hypocalcemia. I do not know if all this stuff I have been experiencing is with cracking joints and osteoporosis is causing my joint issues. I have pain in knees sometimes, they do not want to unbend, hurts. I also have muscle and nerve pain, mainly feels like tearing of muscles. 😫

You didn't say what it means if I have pain too. My left hip / leg socket started cracking and it seems sometimes it gets stuck and it is painful sometimes. Guess something is broken?
Hello doctor wonderful insight, here is my question - my knee makes the most pop and during repeated bending or simple change in position. There is no pain, no swelling, no redness, no heat felt at the joint, is this normal or should I be worried?? Btw I am 32, weigh 149lbs. Thanks in advance 👍
My joints do that too, repeated movement makes it pop over and over again, except for the fact that I'm starting to have pain in my right shoulder blade and neck because of it. Last time I went to a doctor and mentioned it ,she said it was fine as long as theres no pain but now there is. I'll have to ask the next time im in there.
Thanks for sharing this information with us! My joints crack all the time, I don’t like it. I do have a reverse curve in my neck though, so I don’t know if that is contributing to it.
Might be lack of nutrients. My diet is mostly fry foods band rice on the daily with hardly any veggies and sweets everyday. I'm sure of it. Looking for a video that confirms my suspicions.
For some reason when I move my toes back and forth they crack randomly. And sometimes when I move a random bone in my body just cracks. Its sorta embarrassing for me please help
