I was over that way last month on my Victory, took Hwy 16 from Clinton to Dover and then north on Hwy 7 to Jasper. Both great hwys that are in great condition. Love that pert of Arkansas.

I have an adventure bike. It is a 2006 Harley Electra Glide. But at 72 years old everything I do is an adventure. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Congratulations on being retired. I have a saying when someone asked me how I like being retired. I tell them if I know it was this great I would have retired straight out of high school. 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆. Ride safe.
@@MemphisMike901 yes we do those senior citizens deals all the time. Lot of Mexican restaurants and Chinese buffets have lunch deals through the week. Golden Corral has senior happy hour from 2:00 to 4:00 on weekdays.
I really like your touring-bike VFR. Regarding Adventure Bike, it's really hard to decide. I personally w/i 4 years shifted from a GL 1800 (2013) to a Africa Twin (DCT) and shifted back to a GL1800 (2006). In many aspects the GL 1800 is a perfect adventure bike, just a bit limited offroad, but much better eg in uncomfy temperatures or rain.... generally less stress to ride through your adventures. Enjoy your rides and your retirement!
Hey Mike I think I heard your retired now! I own a KLR 650 for riding all the gravel roads here in Iowa and I am amazed at how well that thing will take the curves on paved roads. I’m running pretty aggressive tires for gravel and it still hangs in there in the curves. I have even thought about trading my Road glide off for a triumph Tiger but having a hard time giving that road sofa up for the long trips!! Great to see new videos again brother!!
Yes sir retirement is the best. The VFR is a great bike and a lot of fun. Its a different ride than your gl1800 for sure. I am one of those fjr 1300 riders when I'm not on my road sofa. Its good to have options you know. Even mature people don't understand ride your own ride and end up in trouble because they feel pressured to keep up. My fjr is a 2007, what year is your friends blue fjr? I didn't know about the sport touring group, thanks I'll look them up. Maybe I'll take a nap now.
My buddy’s FJR is a 2016. He let me ride it about 30mins. I truly enjoyed it and could see myself on one for sure! Yeah, think I will go hit another nap now myself 😂😂
