'Feel good' video involving friends riding out for breakfast at Jonesy's Cafe in gorgeous weather, along awesome roads and ending up at North Cornwall Motorcycles who very kindly let us have a poke around even though it was outside working hours. My first sighting of the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and Royal Enfield Shotgun 650.

I wondered if the Devon and Cornwall vloggers would kick off with a certain Freddie encroaching on their territory 😂 Who is this Eeath fellow you speak off? He's not much of a fan of our channel with our sticker on the INSIDE of his top box! Nice of the motorcycle shop to open up and let you film, great PR and customer service. Playing a dangerous game that Dobbsy 🤣 Eeath, not sure but he hung around all day. Seemed nice enough. Apparently the other half of the duo is more fun 🤩 Just kidding, love that guy even if he goes the wrong way about sticker displays. Yea really kind of NCM and a good selection of bikes. It’s been grey and miserable for what feels like forever. It was a tonic getting out with friends on such a lovely day. Sadly back to pouring rain again now 😞 Yes really nice of them, and a good selection of bikes to drool over. Thank you Flat Cap 👍🏼

A nice little warm up for the Socialbags Saddleride that was Jeff. That bap looked very tasty indeed ! I think it's most unfair that anybody should have made fun of Norma, she was flippin' brilliant. I'm daft enough, that if I lived in your neck of the woods, I would have bought her off you. Can't beat a bit of glorious excess if you ask me ! After a couple of weeks of chores and a week away for work, I am starting to catch up with my favourite RU-vid channels once more. It's a never ending job though, isn't it ? 😂 Cheers you two, I hope you had a nice weekend away, us two ❤🐕

Nice day for a ride beautiful countryside down there as always I’m coming to Cornwall for a few days last week of June before the kids break up from school not on bike though but I’ll have my fair share of pasty’s while I’m there😁my favourite food and some ice creams hopefully see some bikes about too take care ride safe

Hey Lily 👋🏼 First time I’ve been to NCM in a long while. Always loads to drool over down there though. It was surprisingly warm believe it or not 🙂 Great grub and reasonable prices at the cafe. Not sure who Tom is though 🤔 Thanks my lovely!

Good day out that, grub n bikes, NCM have a good selection of bikes, I didn't realise it was so big down there, good selection. I hope you get to try a Himalayan sometime. Daves bike looks good.

Great ride out with some good friends! I did love my R1150RT, sweet motorcycle in 2004. Now the Concours14 is that for me. I am a bit surprised that you like the new Himalayan, but I don't own one to make that call. But maybe a bike change next year? I have to get my video out today or Monday so I can start filming a little video mentioning you at the start and important to all people in what ever hobby people are into. Love that a dealer allowed you all in. I would buy from them!

Not interested in changing up from the 411 though. Maybe in a couple of years time 🤔 Ah very kind, I must tune in. Very kind of NCM to let us in. Great video Jeff. I love looking around North Cornwall Motorcycles such a variation and choice. As for that 450 I test rode one at CMS and yes what a piece of kit. I loved it but can't afford one just yet. Love my Royal Enfields.

Well done on getting sight of the 'Yeti" 😂 ( It must be some bike, as Ex/R has ridden one and kept it rubber side down!) 🫣 A nice little run you had there, notable how you were compelled to visit God's own County again.... You must try to fit in a visit to Torrington Common on a sunny Sunday, always a fair selection of bikes coming and going if the weather's nice. As for Mr Dave..... Well! Is it possible to have a mid-life crisis at 70+? 🤔😊👍

I must be on a different continent - not seen the sun at all. Looks bleddy lovely. Delightful run. That Yamaha very desirable imo. Sold my bt1100 as the carbs were horrendous work also a v twin. Access is a ****. Mine had jelly in every 3 months and slow running jet despite replacing with a larger one made it like a bucking bronco. Still think v strom 2nd hand knocks spots off RE except sound

That might have been summer 😮 Pretty much back to normal now. Hope Mister Dave doesn’t have similar issues with Rosie. He’s considering taking it to Ireland when we go. He’s nifty with his spanners but nobody wants to be stripping carbs down on holiday 🤣 Yea, V-Strom is a different genre in my mind. The Himalayan (old or new) don’t come close. Cheers Volt 👍🏼

I managed to get a test ride on the new 450 on Friday, the dealer only had a demo bike and no stock. The new bike is very different from the 411, the fit and finish is a real step up with more performance. The suspension and braking are also much improved over the 411. I found the engine has a lot more power but has to be revved and that induces more vibes than the 411. The seat is a better shape but I found it hard on the demo bike( but only had 210 miles on it). My conclusion is that if I didn't have the 411 the new Himalayan and CF Moto 450MT would be top of my list for consideration if I only wanted one bike. I appreciate the qualities of the old 411 and take it places where I wouldn't take an expensive bike, in effect my 411 is a "don't care" bike although I do look after it and I have another much more powerful bike if I want to cover ground quickly.

Hello my friend 👋🏼 I would very much like a go on the 450, but I am of the same opinion. I like not having to worry too much about the 411, and the 450 is a little too nice and too expensive to possibly trash in the green lanes. Good to hear your thoughts on the bike. Many thanks. Jeff

@@Saddlebags73 For me if I hadn't got my 411, I'd probably go down the route of buying a new 411(or Scram) at the runout bargain prices and kit it out with some accessories that are useful to me and spend the rest on going and having adventures.

Infuriating isn’t it 😳 Well, we were in Devon (I was dragged) and it’s the first time I’d seen such a creation. Curiosity had the better of me and I had to taste it, and it was good 🤣 Yes very kind of NCM indeed. Great place to end the day. That’s where I bought Ernie, but the guy that let us in didn’t know that. Thank e kindly Mr Wolf 🙂👍🏼👋🏼
