What a great conversation really, everyone suffers from grief at one point in their life, it's how you navigate and deal with it is the key to getting through it. It's a process and no one can tell you how to grieve, and seek help because you can't do it by yourself. What a great and informative conversation! Melanie continue to do that work because you could help a lot of people, especially in today's world, there's a lot of hurt people out there. Hayley so good to see you again, Courtney was a good and sweet person who I thought was very good for Andy and I wish they would've stayed together. Glad you doing well in Australia! Hayley, I am sorry to have missed this interview live, glad to be catching it now. I was in my early twenties when I was obsessed with taping ATWT daily, to view in the evening hours after work. Both you and Meg Ryan lit up the screen for me and inspired me to always be full of life/love and high energy. I loved your love stories on the soap. I still today have an album I created back then, from the pictures I gathered from my copy of Soap Opera Digest. So nice to see you have retained that same inner glow through life. Today feels like catching up with an old friend. Thank you for agreeing to do this interview in the Locker Room.

Melanie just described me with grief. Losing my husband, our baby, my mom and my best fried in 18 months, destroyed me and I have struggled to survive, not even getting to recovering. It does stay in the body as she stated, changing everything about who you are. I used to be a hopeless optimist. Cured of that now. I'll be buying her book.

Another great interview!!! I loved the Andy/Courtney storyline. I'm the same age as Hayley and I think that's another reason I liked her so much. I also loved her short hair and was bummed when she let it grow out. So I thought her comments were funny about her hair! I cried when Mary Ellen and Melanie joined the chat. That was such a nice surprise! Thank you for all the work you put into these interviews.

Hey Alan need to add an additional comment since melenie Smith made an appearance which will answer something she brought up about the actress who played Paul's grandmother from the first podcast with her from 2020. The person who played Paul's grandmother and James stenbecks mother was named rosemary Murphy Who a year earlier for about 3 months also played Sam fowler and mitch Blake's mother on another world back in 1988. And that charecters name was Loretta fowler and was an interesting charecter who sang and played piano. Back when Robert Kelker Kelly played Sam fowler. Also I just discovered Micheal louden who played duke sometime in 1988 also played a charecter on another world but I think it was brief sometime in 1988. Anyway happy Tuesday and thanks for the watch party I look forward to the David Andrew Mcdonald interview. Coming up.

She was working with Grant Aleksander (Phillip) in 1999 when she played Harley. I don't know who she was working with the second time. She was my favorite Harley.

I liked Courtney too.

Allen another great one loved her as Courtney and even got to watch the wedding where Andy kavovit came back. Expecting to see him again as Paul. I remember when she left and Scott defreitas was gone too personally when she left I wish Andy had been widowed. And widowed Julie too and did an Andy Julie pairing again. Or just instead cast Maura west as a recast Courtney or Julie. Also great too see Melanie Smith again and Mary Ellen Stewart again. And Allen in case I did not say it too you before I think Doug m made a big mistake and so did Laurence caso in how they handled it. When Melanie Smith needed to leave the show. So I will tell you now I think the show should have asked Sandra Ferguson who at the time who was playing Amanda Cory to do double duty for 6 months and take over at that time the role of Emily Stewart so Andy kavovits Paul and Emily could have been written out properly and then sent Andy kavovit over to aw to take over the role of Sam fowler. From Robert kelker Kelly as they had issues with Thomas Gibson and Danny Markel I think. VS brian Greene. While still using both Sandra and Andy on a recurring basis. At atwt. As for Kelly menighen I think Doug m should have given lily a fraternal twin sister named rose. Back in 1992 and had Kelly menighen play that part. Considering on loving the Emma snyder of loving was named rose. Hint Doug m did it first years before with the rose name years before hogan Sheffer thought of the rose D'Angelo thing which was a noble attempt but not quite how Doug m would have done it had he thought of that idea. And Allen had Roger Howarth play a fraternal twin brother of Paul's named maybe Thomas. VS the holden amnesia storyline imagine how much fun that would have been and an alive James Steinbeck back in 1992 1993. And given Jon Hensley some stuff to play as the show was getting ready to let Heather ratrey go as Lilly for Martha byrne's big return as lily. I can hear the dialog coming from Colleen zenks Barbara as I write this. And hear the contrast between Andy and Roger's witty sarcasm that he is known for VS having played Todd manning. Anyway I do miss the charecter Courtney as well as Mary Ellen stewarts franny. And the other missed opportunities hint she had good chemistry with her husband mark Lewis and frannie and Sean had history too although brief when burk Moses played Courtney's brother. Anyway have a good weekend.
