ASG CZ P-09 Airsoft Pistol Unboxing, Review, and Shooting - Airsoft Station Gun Review
The ASG CZ P-09 was one of those airsoft pistols I honestly didn't think that I would like however whenever I first grabbed it from the box and got it in my hands, I quickly changed minds. Let me try to explain what made me see things differently.
The frame itself is made of a high grade polymer build that is formed smoothly while textures and grip applications wrap all around the pistol grip. On the frame as well would be licensed trades from CZ to give a bit of character to the pistol as well. The large controls such as the slide release and ambidextrous safetys are also a huge pro to me which I love to see on any firearm and replica firearm.
The magazine, being of a Co2 type was also very well thought out with an easy break down to make insertions and extractions of cartridges fast and simple as it should be.
The takedown was that of a 1911 meaning it was simple to clean and maintain so as to keep the pistol preforming normally.
I found very little to pest about when it came to this pistol being as I only thought a gap between the magazine and the mag well was a bit annoying as it gave off a rattling sound whenever the pistol was shaken around with the magazine inserted.
I would say in conclusion that ASG made this CZ P-09 right and have very little to improve on here. Cleaning is easy, handling is fair, customization from an exterior standpoint is of the norm of tactical pistols, and usability is a bit above the average which together is a great deal for the $120 price tag.

*cough cough* instead of spending 120$ on this gun, order the 100$ mystery box from fox airsoft. Almost certain you can get this, you can get an elite force revolver , or an elite force 1911, all CO2, 2 of them blowback. Plus you'll get other items in the box

Have One of these, plus the real steel baby brother of this: the CZ P07. It has a shorter slide and barrel, as well as a shorter grip. And as one would expect from any CZ, damned things are tac drivers. Every CZ that I've had the luxury of pulling the trigger on has been utterly superb. From the old first gen 75, to the Shadow 2, they're all exquisite.

i have a real steel p-07 and i wanted to get an airsoft for training. Would you go with this or the seemingly less quality cz 75 p07 duty? This one looks a lot nicer, but i did want something that would work with my holsters. such a shame theres no baby brother to this gun

Praise worthy, for $70!The only issue was the round gasket ring seal between the CO2 and needle ru-vid.comUgkxnX9wE_Q8zvF75Y5iWzTU3Q4FlrtyGApQ . Withered away, and I'm having a tough time finding a replacement.Gun still works perfectly, but needs a new gasket. Can someone please say where to find the gasket replacement?

Just to say i have bought this gun and have had it for a few weeks. All i need to say is it is awesome and for the mag that comes with, it can hold 27+1 bbs which is more than almost any pistol. the cons of the mag is that is does wiggle but it isn't noticeable in game. the mag should have a little opening to allow for easy speed loaders to pump a lot of bbs in the mag quickly instead of putting in 28 rounds by hand at the top. i have found no problems and all the problems with the hammer have not occurred. i might get a spring that gives it harder recoil but that's not to say i was not satisfied. the recoil at first was very strong and i was surprised on how strong it was out of the box. All i could want from ASG is a extended mag to have more bbs and that would be great. it would look more tactical and boss at the same time. they definitely need to make one with possible full auto, this gun would be amazing. other than that i concur with everything this video says and def love this gun. if u want a hard kicking baddass looking gun that also shoots high fps and can run 2-3 mags worth of bbs on one co2 tank then this is the gun for u. also they should make a rail that has a built in sight for the back sight. if u have the gun u will know what i mean. this gun would look amazing with a mini red dot and a extended mag and a flash hider which i am buying soon. i hope u guys enjoy my comment and if u want go to my channel if u have any questions with the gun and post ur questions in the comments of my latest video. So, I bought an Evike "Random Full Metal GBB" for $90, and I received the beautiful CZ P-09, and it is the same exact model you show in the video. I love this pistol, and I have also customized it to my heart's content (Mock suppressor, grip, paint,) and it's FPS, according to Evike, is from 360-390. P.S The video was great! I showed this video to a friend, and he said he is probably gonna get one now.

That would have been a complete error with the chrono not the pistol, it happens from time to time. I've seen 2fps and 7000fps.

airsoft pistols with (i believe) higher than 450 fps are not allowed in cqb matches, and anyhow i'm pretty sure there are no airsoft pistols with 550+ fps...

Neosiq actually a lot of airsoft revolvers that aren't specifically designed for cqb can get 500+ fps.

I love ASG pistols. I got my first 2 from fox boxes. First was the ASG Bersa thunder9 pro co2 replica. The 2nd was the ASG Styer M9A1 c02 replica. Also have a ASG Armalite m15-A4 AEG. Im sure there are better options but hey they hit what you aim at so I happy.

BY far the best Airsoft pistol I've ever owned or used. I use either Crossman Co2 or Umarex Co2, depending availability and price. Both brands I can average about 5-6 full mag uses per cartridge in about 75 degree weather. As for BBs, I almost always used .25 with about a 340ish fps average and a good solid accurate range of around 160-170ft with light winds. Overall reliability, comfort, usage and efficiency I would give this gun a an 8.5/10.

My first pistol was a 15$ spring powered pistol (RECON) it had about 200 FPS and it was a decent pistol second was an electric powered pistol its name was the GFAP 13 and 80$ 250 - 300 fps really good pistol but battery was running out a little to fast so I was looking in to airsoft pistols co2 powered and found a Big Sauer 1911 Co2 powered and looked really cool it was about 100$ and really useful all I have to do now it bring a couple Co2's and I was good for the rest of the game I really liked that pistol it may not be the best pistol but it was worth it really cool designs realistic snd had Blowback very satisfied

UPDATE! i saw a comment saying the asg bbs that came with the gun are high quality. this is FALSE. the bbs break apart on impact and and not safe to use in the gun i just used them to see if the statement was true and it was not these bbs are horrible and never use bbs the guns come with

by the way in watching the review you have a defective pistol that they should warranty based on cycling issues. never had a problem with my first edition co2 non-threaded. they originally had cycling issues with the green gas mag and hop-up issues with the first editions. i was super lucky to find one in Canada... although it was 3x the price.

The reason the safety only works if the hammer is back because the trigger is double action which is a safety on it's own. It's like that on some real firearms too. -mic drop-

The only thing i dont like about the cz po9 is the thin slide i got the vfc ppq tac instead beacuase of the larger slide and it was the slightest bit more fitting to my hand

If the rest of the internals work together with the mag it will fire, I imagine, and you could use it. However if you found yourself in that position then your guns life span would drop due to the greater preassure from the co2 on your internals and could lead to a dangerous blowout.

There tends to be an actual cut out type of area for a co2 bulb to go rather than a fill port, like on your standard GG mags. If you found a way to get GG bulbs, like you do for co2, then yes I imagine it would also run perfectly justy maybe a little less powerful.

I love the CZ, the 1 Joule sticker is stupid though. Would have liked the Decocker instead of the safety. A real one is only about $560.00 or so. So I'll just save a get the real one. Nice detailed Airsoft gun anyway.

Got this as a starter pistol. Just using to shoot some cans in my backyard. I don’t know much about airsoft, but I’m really enjoying it! Only thing that’s kinda annoying is the fact that the slide doesn’t always go all the way back when the co2 cart gets cold.

that's almost an exact replica of the actual CZ P-09 except for the orange tip and the lack of Tritium sights. just one thing i noticed...the gun takes down exactly like a real CZ P-09 and nothing at all like any 1911. i may have to buy the airsoft version just to go with my real one.
