Even at full health I wouldn't be able to survive a single hit from Sissna. Being low hp makes the fight a lot easier thanks to the damage buff from Last Stand.

Juice2k8 was the first runner of this game, he was a lot better than I was at the time too. I know many people speedran Ashen but very few ended up uploading or submitting their time on the leaderboard.

It's been extremely underrated ever since it came out sadly

I'm afraid there's no trick, I'm only double tapping. If you play the video at 0.25 speed you should see my character starts his dash then cancels it into rolling.

If I set "effect quality" to normal or below in my graphic settings it removes it entirely. I haven't been able to confirm if it's only happening on my computer or if works for everyone. If you have the time and the game on pc I would really appreciate if you could test it for me.

It comes from the relic Ukkoto's Guile. Each orb adds on-hit damage

You can but nothing happens. You need to advance the story to its last step to make Bataran and Silaren go there. There are no real sequence breaks possible (as far as my testing goes) and even then the game actually checks if you defeated the 4 previous bosses, unlocked fast travel, and completed all the mandatory story missions before sending you on yo ur final journey

You can hit a statue, skipping going through the passage with all the spear throwers. But it's very precise.

Le mode Enfant de Sissna est vraiment 0 fun, je déconseille de le faire à moins que tu souhaites vraiment avoir tous les succès. Faire le jeu dans ce mode revient en somme à tenter de finir une partie sans compagnons et sans se faire toucher (ou bien 1 à 2 fois seulement). Le bouclier ou les armures sont proscrits, seule l'esquive compte. Pour les boss, comme dans tous les autres Souls, il "suffit" d'apprendre tout les patterns et de faire assez d'essais pour qu'il y en ai un qui passe. C'est long et frustrant pour certains mais c'est faisable. Au besoin, toutes les zones du jeu ainsi que les donjons peuvent être facilement traversées en copiant ce que je fais dans ce speedrun (ou dans la vod Twich linkée plus bas). Niveau équipement, Ruse d'Ukkoto ou Bénédiction de Gefn seront les seules reliques utiles. Côté talismans, Fureur (+50 dgt max) sera excellent puisque ton compagnon va mourir en boucle, Répit et Vif sont essentiels pour pallier aux inévitables problèmes d'endurance et en 4ème soit Hallali pour combattre les boss en mode (1hit-KO) soit Inébranlable + Vêtements du Disciple pour obtenir juste assez de résistance pour subir 1 coup sans mourir. C'est la seule armure que je recommande vraiment. Et non je n'aime pas le Voile du Profanateur, trop de pénalité d'endurance. A noter que le talisman Pisteur (donné par Amara après avoir rencontré Gefn la deuxième fois) peut être utilisé en 4ème talisman pour une stratégie alternative pour compléter le Palais de Lathyrus. (Voir cette vod Twich dans laquelle j'utilise ce talisman pour compléter le palais sans aucune lance et en affrontant le moins d'adversaire possible : www.twitch.tv/videos/1025231185?t=00h51m40s Pour les armes, rien d'obligatoire mais les haches à 2 mains rapides reste des armes à privilégier, sauf la Hache Pourrie... qui est pourrie comme son nom l'indique. Puis en dernier viennent les potions ; seul Sturm (en mode 1hit-KO) ou Dwale sont utiles. Dwale est de loin la meilleure potion du jeu (Souffle de sangsue est une fausse bonne idée.)

J'avais bien aimé le jeu en normal, le mode enfants de Sissna est abusé avec tout les ennemis que tu croise en route, mais quand je vois ton speedrun j'ai l'impressions que les dév' on fait exprès de créer un jeu adapter pour le speedrun.

@@Anemion Je suis dégouter, j'avais réussi à me téléporter à 39:00. Sauf que moi les monstre derrières mon repérer et du coup j'ai paniqué T_T

@@MissMaladroite La chute est nécessaire. Cela permet de passer en dessous du garde posté devant la statue sinon il te repèrera, que tu sois en pleine téleportation ou pas.

@@Anemion Est-ce que le fait de désactiver l'IA lors du combat contre l'ombre de l'ashen ça affaiblie le boss? Sur ta vidéo j'ai l'impression qu'il n'y a pas d'ombre invoquer, mais c'est peut être parce que tu le tue trop vite?

@@proximityAlert Oh my bad I missunderstood. It's a sigil you get from starting a character in hardmode.(hardmode characters have their health divided by 3 and only half the stamina)

I hope you're referring to CoS difficulty which is a rather imbalanced gamemode that would be the equivalent of trying to beat the games you mentioned at low level. To me, Ashen's main issue as a souls game is that it fails at teaching the souls basics. So I simply cannot understand how someone claiming to be a souls veteran can struggle or complain about the base difficulty of this game. Every mob can be defeated with AI and spamming R1, bosses don't have that many patterns and are easy to abuse. Is the last boss overtuned compared to the rest of the game ? Yes... but compared to main souls bosses it's not harder than Abyss watcher in DS3 for say. And yet I've seen so many souls vet' go in disrespecting this game by turning off AI, skipping every forms of upgrade, not using the lock-in system, and then pikachu face at the first difficulty spike.
