@@LeadLeftLeon Because its the "perceived" attractive look to attract other women on dating apps. Thats why most advice for Asian men is to look more like what is trendy in US Asian pop culture.

I've had south east asian friends go for that korean F-boy look. Skin brightener, curled short bangs, earring. As much as I see that look being popular here in southern california, it wouldn't work for my features.

I agree that people want to be accepted by their partner. But I'm going to play devil's advocate here. We do a lot of things that we might not be naturally inclined to do in order to get some end result. How many people actually want to study hard in school if there wasn't a payoff of getting a decent job in the future? How many people would actually work out at the gym if there wasn't a payoff of feeling stronger and looking more attractive? The difference is that in East Asian culture, the first is generally taught by parents to be something worth the effort to get while the second is not. Since this is a limiting thought, we can re-evaluate our thoughts and ask: 1) what kind of person am I attracted to 2) what kind of person/interets do they like and 3) how much am I willing to change to become the answer to question 2.

Boxing gyms aren’t though and actually focus on fighting. Good boxing gym in the hood or working class neighborhood and will charge $100-200 per month for unlimited sessions

@@LeadLeftLeon- my boxing gym was $100 a month. I agree with your statement. A good amount of boxing/MMA gyms in my area are around that price range of 100-230. I hundred percent agree that it is worth the money. If I were in my youth 20s again, I would tell folks to cut some things out of their budget that they Don't need like eating out a lot or buying expensive stuff. Learn how to budget.

I knew someone like that. On paper he was great and had a lot going on for him. In reality he was dorky, which killed his chances. Nerds neglect their appearance and expect girls to do the same. Looking good is a massive part of the game

I think the middle guy being 5 ft 6 is his biggest negative. I know a lot of females that won't give someone at that height any thought.

If you can't accept what you're born with (I'm not talking about genetic disabilities or deformation from birth), then you have already lost a lot of respect from the perspective of the opposite sex that you want to attract. Also, you refer to South Koreans doing it all the time. Well, these guys are not living in SK now, are they? They are in a completely different country with different views and values.
