The hard part is actually tagging the mob. If they don't go fast, it becomes an absolute cluster fuck with hundreds of players in different raids all slaughtering each other.
Kazzak was the best. We had sentry shifts with low level alts, a guild world boss alliance, and a phone tree in order to get there first. And if someone tagged it we would mess up their attempt on our alts. It was a ridiculous amount of effort for a god damn video game.
My guild back in the day did go after the emerald nightmare dragons; we had to be (obviously) online during the time, and have scouts already at locations to report the moment they spawned. It's then a rush to be the first guild in to attack.
Back in those days Grand Marshal/High Warlord were practically achievable only if there were multiple players taking shifts to pvp the same character the whole bloody day. Madness. I grinded up to Lieutenant Commander to complete the set and gave up thereafter.
Still surprised the updated Honor system armor is being released at the start. If you weren't aware they weren't as well itemized when the Honor system originally launched. Later, nearer the release of Naxxramas, the PvP gear was updated to stay competitive. Hence why all that PvP gear they talked about only sees equivalents in the last two raids of the game.
just wanted to make a quick mention before everyone wets their pants: the rank 14 spellblade and healing mace are not gonna come to wow classic until PHASE6 and the rare pvp sets will be the lvl58 ones, not the lvl60 ones
About the rare pvp set we are getting the buffed version right away in phase 2 Blizzard confirmed it. On wowhead it says P6 but they fucked up its wrong
Asmon shouldn't even assume he is ever gonna get to kill any world boss ever. The top 2-3 guilds will be the only ones ever killing it and Olympus is not one of them 🤣 They have the numbers, but not the skill to kill a world boss while fighting off Horde at the same time.
Rogue R12 legs in my opinion are endgame BIS 2 hit and 1 crit with high almost 1% crit from agility. which makes it 2 hit and 2 crit. No other legs have that
Guys, casters, there's a trinket from the red dragon boss in BWL that increases ur casting speed for 20 seconds, by 30%. Like a genuine haste trinket. I think its 30%. Mind Quickening Gem i think its called
So if the servers can't even handle a raid on Org without crashing (even on 2 different layers) then how the fuck does anyone expect the world bosses to be remotely functional? As soon as 2 guilds of opposite factions find the raid boss, you can guarantee a server crash, and probably a roll back (despawning world boss most likely).
Why doesn't Asmon know about the world boss if he was part of classic in 2006? I have been in 3 world raids in Classic. . It takes 60 to 80 well geared 60's. Usually the raid group that organized the event get the gear. One or two pieces will drop.
@Patrick Höing Doesn't matter how many there are, if you've seen them play they're legit all spergs that prob never have played WoW or always sucked and play classic to follow him around.
@ubigmad from what is said during the video I assumed that was implied. This is, however, a list of the best p2 items and barring the r10 gear everything listed will be virtually unobtainable for casual players.
There was a chinese guild on elysium that had a botted account that sat in spawn all the time, and would send a automated message to raiders in Discord telling them to log in for boss lol
Why does Asmonbald gets so surprised? My guess is he didnt play actual vanilla. As a vanilla veteran i already know, most people will NEVER get these items. My guild leader was a hardcore raid leader, and she never got the feral mace out of the nightmare dragon she realy wanted.
She was one of the best players i've met. She was our guild leader, raid leader and maintank, and our guild was the top guild in our server till she left the game.
The MAN just said one guild will get to kill the World Boss once a week. Then he asks how often do they respawn. Lol. Once a week?! This man never played EQ back in the day before instances.
I love watching Asmon but this is bad for the game. Streamers just love to complain about the game being too easy and then they do this.... Like cmon man this is bad for the game.
