Roughly 5 litres of blood in a human body. An average sized hot tub carries around 1,100 litres. So if they were able to wring 100% of the blood from their victims it would take around 220 people to fill a hot tub. But since I doubt they could get 100% of the blood out of their bodies, lets round that up to 250 victims. @@Achuidian179
I love his distaste for Orin - which is pretty funny considering he's an extension of Bhaal. It's telling that Fel comments that she's a worthless lout, because there's quite a bit of evidence to suggest that Bhaal doesn't give a shit about Orin. That and the fact that Orin misunderstands Bhaal's lust for murder. She's constantly setting up these elaborate, brutal kills but in reality all Bhaal cares about is the quantity of murder.
@@WarriorOfVale Even still, Bhaal doesn't care about any of that. Bhaal simply demands that the most possible blood be spilled. He couldn't care less how that end is achieved. His domain is just *murder* after all.
@@WarriorOfVale He enjoys murders because he is an aspect of Bhaal. The game quite clearly says this during the Durge playthrough. He was essentially created by Bhaal to guide the Dark Urge.
Orin is cooking up one of those weird minimalist perfectionist 500 dollar black tie restaurant meals when bhaal's really more of a 15 dollar bottomless waffles kinda guy.
@@darkurgediaries Except it would be counterproductive from a narrative point of view. Sceleritas is a placeholder for Bhaal's influence over the Dark Urge, a little voice in his head. This influence is shown as irresistible and insidious, and Sceleritas loves being a nasty little rascal. You have to fight against him IF you can fight at all. He is an antagonist in the redempted Dark Urge's arc. Therefore, if you can turn him, he appears less powerful and Bhaal appears less powerful, because his influence can be tempered.
@@raphaelregnault6914 i think he would prove more loyal to an independent but still evil durge who perhaps seeks to usurp Bhaal and take his place, I’m here for that haha. After all when withers brings durge back you can think to yourself about being free to do evil for yourself
This happened to me in my honour mode run with my buddy. I was playing Durge and determined to show him the "redemption scene". Unfortunately Orin butchered me in 2 turns despite my preparation, and Captain Butler Boy absolutely lost his marbles - if I didn't already feel bad for losing my only chance to show my friend the redemption scene, I felt even worse for breaking the butler's brain and heart.
@@KyleHatesBees i finished her in 2 turns myself, really simple strat too that you could do with any martial build it's easiest if you have the slayer form yourself from killing isobel in act 2 (do it after saving nightsong if you want the extra help at moonrise towers, this WILL kill the innocents like dammon/rolan/barcus). doing this will force orin to face u in her humanoid form equip the necklace from malus thorm, the one that lets you paralyze a target for 2 turns after critting have your cleric santuary ur tav before approaching orin orin will start the fight by going invisible, but will reveal herself with no options to get through ur sanctuary hit her and use ur tadpole guaranteed crit, paralyze her dumb ass and end her in one turn u *COULD* also cheat by using the tadpole Mind Blast that does a gigantic frontal stun aim it in a way that hits orin and at least one of the bhaalists watching the duel, and it disables the forcefield bringing ur whole team into the fight all the other bhaalists join in as if this was a normal orin fight, and she instantly gains her usual 12 unstoppable stacks
@@KyleHatesBeesme very recently, I thought u was fine, had like 100 hp, got her down to 70 and did a flurry of blows… Cull the week did not activate, I was hit for 140 slashing damage and instantly lost the duel, I was so upset, but beat the run
@@cavelepus Never want to do that again. He made me lool like whimp in every kissing scene. He made me kneel. The son of a murder god kneels to a mere vampire
"No loitering, no lollygagging, and no trespassing. This is a private estate" imo has the same vibes as "This is my own private domicile and I will not be harassed" from breaking bad
"One with such base manners as you is certainly unwelcome in my Liege's home" Such a decent gentleman, he probably serves a very cultured and friendly community
@@5Demona5 he mentions being killed multiple times by Durge in the past. Unless I missed something, Im pretty sure he cant be killed. Also if I remember correctly he is given form by the sliver of Bhaals power that resides within the bhaalspawn. So he should be able to return as long as Baal wills it
Astarion's evil is nothing when compared to the utter villainy of Durge. To him, murder was not a deliberate act, but something as automatic as breath. His heart beats only to end lives.
What's with Papa Bhaal and having us off our siblings? Like, I thought Sarevok was just on something in the first game, no idea why he didn't wanna be friends. Bhaal gets off to this, doesn't he? It brings him more joy than it brings Fel.
But why Astarion said, "my friend is acting strangely" , are you not in a relationship? Should it not be my partner...? Or I guess they were trying to generalise it... to fit for any companions that goes to speak with Sceleritas
Oh my god his little "eww" when you ask if he can open the door 😭 this is the cutest, most hideous little murder critter ive ever had the pleasure of talking to
After durge becomes bhaals chosen and the butler is in the camp and Astarion talks to him he has a diffrent reaction between ascendant and spawn. Could you post a version where a!astarion talks to him?
I fucking love this little monster, I wish we could keep it as a NPC resenting his fate if we rejected Bhaal, as if Bhaal kicked him out of his job (after properly murder him ofc) , but alas :(
That’s why i play baldurs gate 3 when i’m the scion of bhaal the dark urge.I can be a true vessel for grotesque evil thou shall go then introduce the world to the darkest walks of cruelty the world has ever witnessed it has been written by the arch butler scaleritas fel & thus it shall be so
I love how everyone in the bhaal temple has beef with each other and bhaal just kind of encourages it instead of making them work together as a unit. Sounds like a toxic tlc show i'd watch tbh
Durgestarion is such a funny dynamic. With Astarion, we get to meet his toxic aristocratic family that has dance parties and balls with patriarchs. Meanwhile Durge introduces him to their disgusting trailer trash family that eats people and doesn't brush their teeth lmao
does anything interesting happen if you kill Orin before meeting Serevok? Its only possible as Durge since Fel will let you inside without needing the password from Serevok, sounds like something most people wouldnt encounter.
@@Oshkoshbaby Yeah your a better person than me i only play as a dark urge.I’m exceedingly evil in my own playthroughs.A person has to be quite evil to make scaleritas fel revere anyone
I see lot of love for the butler in the comments. I, however, cannot join them. Fel annoyed the heck out of me, I wanted to yeet him from my Durge's life the moment he appeared.
SPOILERS AHEAD! He wouldn’t be alive because when you play as regular tav, dark urge is slain by Orin in game and if dark urge is gone sceleritas has no purpose and Bhaal destroys him.
@@hamethyst you have to be playing a dark urge playthrough, and leave dark urge outside or just before the bridge to the temple, and approach sceleritas as a different party member instead
Unpopular opinion: this is the better Astarion. The complex and analytical Astarion. Even more unpopular opinion: he would need a different voice actor They're two different characters, and I like this one better.
