That’s my Anglia Van so thank you for your comments! Sometimes it can look a little lost next to the big trucks, but then I realised they provide shade and lord did I need it with the heat! Great video guys!

@@mancbranch hi Paul I absolutely love old Vans they always stick out to me and I have a particular soft spot for Anglias and mk1 transits in particular I used to have a 72 bull nose v4 long wheel base high top transit that belonged to the Wiltshire fire brigade but sadly a Devore saw the parting of that ..shame I’d still have it now if things were different but that’s life you can’t win them all 🤣 nice van though dude be nice to see more of it 👌👍
Hi from Durham mate 👋👍I love old steam fairs the smell is amazing 👌 som fabulous pieces of history here that paved the way to world we live in now mk1 tranny had to be in there lol ( you should of took Kevin the tranny 👍) Atkinson trucks used to be good in the day I remember when I was kid a coal man had Atkinson and you'd think he ran it on what he sold good days and this fair great times 👌 Fred dibnah awesome guy in days climbing without safety and just knocking bottom out to burn supports and Mrs D always lit it 👌 mind you he always had a few before he went up 🙈 and got a challenge for you tho if you love these hit and miss engines go on you tube and look a upload called fairbanks morse 32d see if you can watch full 7 mins without nodding or tapping your feet to the revs 🤣 awesome day mate thanks for your time be safe and see you soon 👍 👋
Yea I’ve not been to one for years so was good to remind myself of all the old awesome contraptions. Yea should of took Kevin but it was a last minute thing. @@CarJunkeez did you tap foot and bop your head like I do when I watch it 🔊 the beats it makes are awesome and yeah the hoops just chuff rite outta there lol I can't remember last time I was at a steam fair like it must of been ten year ago as we have beamish museum that holds fairs like this on massive field also you know the organs that play off the compressed air have you ever seen the sheets/cards with holes in ? As it plays the wind passes through the hole commanding which instrument or note to hit and for how long lol I learnt that at last fair I was at 👌 thanks again mate👍👋
@@marksaunders2500 yea sounds like when I’m mixing drum & bass on my decks 😂 yea I’ve see the way a lot of old automated musical equipment use the paper with the holes in, it’s a primitive computer in a sense and I learnt to understand digital electronics from stuff like that when I was a kid👍👍
