Just got home from Asvab, I scored a 75 after studying for 1 hour last night and maybe 2 hours this morning before taking it. I recommend putting at least a solid week into studying these videos and you will pass with flying colors. Air Force here I come!
I promise im dumb asf, I was in the sped class my whole life I needed all the help I could get with math. I went to MEPS the first time and scored a precentile score of 26. I've been practicing these same questions until I can get them right then ill move onto the next video and practice. YOU GOT THIS!!!!1 THE KEY IS ACTUALLY PRACTICE!!!!!11
Currently watching this video at 6:15 in the morning I’m hooked on perfection and I want to get a 60-70 on my test. I pray that I pass the real deal when it’s time
I took my ASVAB for the third time yesterday and made a 48 thanks to grammar hero. the first time i took it I made a 21 and the second time I made a 22. I studied this mans videos for two months straight while also reading my ASVAB prep plus Kaplan book and it literally paid off. A 48 is still low but I’m so happy and grateful to have finally passed it. Weight lifted!!!
Congrats on more than doubling your score, you're welcome, and I wish you the best if you join the military! Going from a 21 to a 48 is nothing to be ashamed of!
I’m a senior, videos helped me a lot, took mine back in November 2020 scored a 71 Going to sign my contract soon wish me luck!!! Navy Ps. Good luck to anyone taking the ASVAB , you got this!!!
This is a great refresher i used to have fun with some of these back in school some were frustrating and i still stuggle at times but this is great material for me to study
Cannot thank you enough !!! Finally a video where I can help on the arithmetic reasoning section for the ASVAB feel like there needs to be more videos like this not enough videos like this.
Of course, I put all of my relevant ones in a playlist called Math Boot Camp playlist. Here it is: ru-vid.com/group/PLhlU-GzAQeG2ete7N8QjR2dDN_CaIH67z Good luck on your test!
I never paid attention in school but since I need to take the test for ASVAB to enlist and everything and this has helped me so much than school has. Thank you so much for having these and helping me study for it.
This test literally will stop you from joining anything part of SOCOM I have struggled over year s because of this stupid test this guy is the only dude that can actual teach me I have nothing else for career choices and I've been in for a couple years now. This test is one of the limiting factors for me and it is for some also thank you Grammer RU-vid Man.
I’m taking it soon in the hotel right now you’ve been a tremendous help my friend. This is my third time taking it. They say Third times the charm. Ay listen I don’t know any of you but please pray for me to pass this today the world is changing and sadly in a even more twisted way than before.
Update I got a 28 and literally everything you said was on the test do you have a science section of this sir ? One of the staff sergeants said that’s what messed me up and electrical shit.
@@jaquaveonandress649 it did Kuz it cost me the 3 points I desperately needed math was easy asf bro he helped out a lot all of these questions was in the test but different numbers. Study science bro I’m telling you ima study and wait my 6 months ima do 3 slacking off than when it’s February or towards the end of December ima study my black ass off.
Thank you so much for all the time you put in to make all these video! It really helps me a lot. I pass the test and physical got a perfect score for the job I want. Ship out t next month I’m excited and all this happens because of you!
You're welcome. If you look in the community tab of my channel, you'll see that my videos have helped a lot improve their scores significantly. I hope these help.
I take my ASVAB for the second time tmmr and I’ve had a big improvement from a 6 to a 25 on a practice one and I really hope I pass I struggle a lot wit academics and I try and watch these videos to help so thank you
my first time taking my practice asvab I made a 20 after looking at this video and other videos on your channel on my second practice test I made a 44 , I was excited ! thank you so much , I’m studying for the real one now hoping to make higher then a 44! these videos really helps me.
I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A bird will fall frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself. 💡 Grammar hero, I passed everything at MEPS for the Air Force! I’m just waiting for my Invisalign treatment to finish so I can continue. I’ll update you soon on my shipping date. Thank you 🇺🇸
I just took my asvab for the 2nd time i passed cuz of grammer hero hes genuinely a hero ngl i will be getting deployed nov 12th 91b ill always be grateful for this man and his content if ur reading this u got it brother/sister if i can do it anyone else can
Currently a Junior on Highschool I really want to get a good score on the ASVAB so I can go to basic training over summer break. This video help a lot. :)
Thank you again for these videos. Math was my weakest subject growing up. High School was back in the early 2000s for me so it's been a while and I needed a refresher course. 👍
I got my asvab in a few days, and this is making me feel hype about it all, I believe I got this by the clutch as I brush off my math, thanks for the help🤘
I take my Asvab again next month, failed it by 3 points with a 28. I need a 31, I suck at math and word knowledge, hopefully your videos help me a lot!
Thanks for the awesome instructional videos. I'm prior service looking to update my asvab scores. Back then I was a little too immature and impatient for math. Now its actually fun to learn.
I hope so, I made a 23 in highschool, I waited a year to decide I wanted to go to Air Force I took my test about 3 weeks ago made a 13😬, i take it again in a week I’ve been studying the asvab for dummies book and watching videos hope these help
@@Trytman 1,000s of people have used my free videos to improve their scores significantly! With time and effort, you should be able to do it, too. Good luck!
Thank you men for helping me pass my Asvab test with 46. Non of the question u upload came out but I saw similar question to what u uploaded so all I needed was the formula she you explain very much
Passed my asvab with 10 points higher than practice test all I did was watch your videos all day for 1 day lol. Thank you keep up the good work with these videos
I’m fairly good at math although I do not trust myself fully, I took Precalculus last semester and passed my class with a 92. But I have lost or forgotten a lot of basic math skills, so this will help me. I want to be an EM or something electrical or mechanical in the Navy.
The more you practice, the more comfortable you'll get. Keep practicing, and you'll get there. If you took precalculus, then the ASVAB should be a walk in the park. That said, I would spend two weeks or so studying for it. Good luck!
Not gonna lie, the test is not as hard as they make it out to seem, as long as you focus and study a bit before, you should score fine. I took mine not too long ago and am getting the exact job I wanted. Good luck to you guys and do your best!!
16 To 28 AFQT I talked to the navy they are offering me jobs right now not many tho because I’m below standard. The army has a delayed entry program. 3 month asvab prep course at there base with opportunity to retake every 3 weeks. I think I’m gonna go for that. At least I can retake and not half to wait a month or 6 months. I don’t want to settle for a low score “below the minimum”. I’m going to study and keep watching your videos just wanted to say thank you. I will soon be in the special forces I want something challenging. This is my step to becoming something better then my current self. I’m really tempted with taking a job they offered me as a military cop with a 28 asvab score. That’s really scetch However like I said I want the mindset of being the best. I can’t do that. Nope
Keep studying with my free content, and you'll get there. Good luck! Ultimately, you have to decide for yourself what you want to do for a job in the military, and so I would consider the MP position, too!
@@TopNotchTrooper Pending Internet Computerized Adaptive Test. I highly recommend you ask your recruiter if you can take it instead of the full asvab. Basically it's a short test that you take at home, and you have 48 hours to complete. My recruiter gave me a paper that had a code that was valid for 30 days. So I studied for it all 30 days and when I took it I scored 97/99. If you do well on the PICAT, you have to verify your score by going to the MEPS and taking a test that's very similar to the PICAT. I scored a 94/99 when I went to do my "V-test" verification test. The airman in charge said that anything within 20 point will pass. Meaning I could've gotten an 84 and passed easily 😂 but I was sweating my ass off trying to get all the questions right 😂The advantage is that you dont have to take the entire asvab which I think is over a hundred questions long. With the PICAT you go to meps and take a shortened version of the test... Seems to me like the way to go
im stupid in math but i can do basic + - x / i wonder where that would take me in the actual exam. Thank you for making these kinds of videos, you are helping a whole lot of troubled people like me, Hero
Youve seem super exhausted in this video, made me laugh. But i enjoy the tutor it helps me a lot, all your videos are amazing. Hopefully you get enough rest 🙂💯
How can I know which formula am I gonna use for each problem ? That’s the thing that has me stuck like I read the problem but I don’t know how to start yk?
Just thought of something funny. These are obviously math problems but in word / situational format, and depending on the situation, you can take some shortcuts. The first question, I actually had another way of solving that. They asked for an approximate answer which makes things easier since you don't need exact calculations. And they mentioned the car had depreciated to 72% of the original value. In my mind, 72% is very close to 75%; 75 percent is another way of saying three quarters, so in my mind, I'm reading the situation as the car now costing three quarters of it's original value. So just divide the current price by three (leaves you about 1080) and then multiply by 4 (4 quarters make a whole) and that leaves you around 4200-4500. Don't get me wrong, it absolutely is important and nice to be able to do algebra when needed. But I'd imagine that these questions are designed for you to take advantage of shortcuts and simplified thinking if you happen to notice the situations that the word problems lay out. (Granted, I've only watched your walkthrough only to question 1 so far.)
For some of the problems, you will be able to solve it quickly and mentally, and for other problems, you'll have to work out every single step. Since this is an instructional video, I try not to skip steps, but rest assured, I can solve more than half of these with very little work!
Damn I got a 30 on my PICAT test today and my actual asvab test is next week and kinda nervous and scared to fail the test I struggle only on Arithmetic Reasoning section Hope I get a better score next week
Has nobody caught the second answer in each question is "C". What does the answer sheet say, I would like clarity. BTW nice problem solving logic, actually fun to watch, thank you.
I take the ASVAB in 2 days. I took it last year at school and scored a 35. My recruiter wants me to score at least a 50 so I’ll tell you guys if I scored high enough.
Luis Marquez recruiter moved my date but I took a practice one and passed. And no the questions will never be the same but they might be worded differently.
Good luck! Here are all of my practice tests: ru-vid.com/group/PLhlU-GzAQeG2ete7N8QjR2dDN_CaIH67z&si=PYx7tQm9xT7V5IGf If you work through them, you'll be ready on test day.
I need your help please. So I paused the video to solve it on my own.. I had .72 multiply to it's present value $3245 = $2336.4 So it ask for what was it's original price before depreciation so I add $3245 +2336.4 = $5581.4

Bro i got completely fucked on #1 like why cant i just multiply the 72% to the 3245 and then add the product to the depreciated value to find the answer ???
Speed comes down to a few things: 1. Recognizing how you will solve the problem; and 2. Being able to do the arithmetic required to work out the problem quickly and accurately. I would strongly encourage you to learn and memorize these formulas: www.asvabapp.com/Reference.pdf I work out the problems in this video painfully slow. When I solve these problems on my own, however, I do the calculations more quickly, and I don't even think about how I'm going to solve the problem. I generally already know what formula or technique I'll use before I even get started.
In this video, I address that question. Here it is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oROL4CVfC3E.html I would learn problem-solving techniques, not the words "per" or "of", because the questions can easily be written to do the opposite of those words.
I took a practice test at the marine center yesterday I scored a 62 but not doing math for 5+yrs despite being a former honor and IB student was fucking gruesome. I damn near passed out until i remembered im marine bound so i got it together and finished the test. I take a larger practice test soon
If you study for a week or two, you should be able to go from a 62 to a 90+ pretty easily. Your score means you're smart, but you probably weren't ready to do all of the math by hand, since you've been out of school for so long. Good luck! Pry for me (I’m a junior) and I take a practice asvab test tmw that the school gives to us. I hope to score good but I also hope to take my mistakes tmw and fix them for the real test. I hope to be a United States Maine when I’m out of high school 🙏
If you look at the question, it says one pump is adding water to the pool, and the other pump is emptying water from the pool. To represent that mathematically, you have to use subtraction: 1/10
If you work through the videos in my math boot camp playlist, you should be able to do it. Here it is, and good luck! Playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLhlU-GzAQeG2ete7N8QjR2dDN_CaIH67z
For problem 5 couldn't you just plug in the possible answers after setting up the equation? I know you just trying to work it out to show it step by step but I'm just asking.
