Well Grammar Hero, it’s been a long 2 years. Within those 2 years I had to lose weight and study for the Army. After getting a 31 on the practice test, two years later I took my ASVAB and got a 97 AFQT. I qualified for my MOS and I’m extremely thankful. I love you Grammar Hero!!! I will donate.
God bless you for not giving up. I’m 23 now and I’m running out of options on what to do with my life, I really need to buckle down this time and get my mind staright.
I’m going in tomorrow to meet with my recruiter for The Navy and my main obstacle is the math portion of the ASVAB. I’ve got my ASVAB for dummies book that I’m currently studying and I have videos like these to help me out. To anyone who’s about to their test, we got this 👍🏼
Update: I passed my practice test on Wednesday and now I’m taking the real PICAT on Thursday, I honestly owe it to GrammarHero for these videos. Unfortunately I did get suckered in to buy a “Math Bootcamp” for 60$ when I all I needed were these playlists of lessons. I’m gonna stick to them and I’m gonna ace this thing 💪🏽
I went from a 19 to 46 on the ASVAB. I really appreciate your hard work and effort with these videos. You are by far the greatest math tutor I have ever seen on RU-vid. I reconmend this to anyone watching. There is no greater RU-vid channel when it comes to math. Thank you so so much!!
@@phonkaddict2119 46 is basically a pass. It would be an average grade. If you want infantry, you'd be good. But for anything like rangers or sf you'd have to get atleast a 50. I was tryna get a 50 to get an option 40 contact 😅 I know someone who got a 96 on the asvab. He was basically qualified for any job in the Army. Hope this helps.
@@saigakiragami lol I want a option 40 as well . It’s possible to get that with just a 50 on the asvab ? I know you have to get a 105 or higher GT score so if that’s possible with a score of 50 that would be hella nice to know .
@@phonkaddict2119 a 50 percentile is the overall score. The asvab is divided into different sections. My overall score was 46 and my gt score was like a 92 or something. So if you get a 50, your gt score will probably be 105.
I got a 15 in my first practice test, than a 17, and 25, and 55, and finally a 72 in my final asvab test thanks to you grammar hero I really appreciate you and keep doing what you're doing God bless you
Hey Grammar Hero! Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your videos and all the work you put into them! I just took the ASVAB today after studying with your videos for a few weeks and got an 86 with a GT score much higher than I needed to qualify for the job I want! So thank you!!! ☺️
@@maemaelove5159 Tjank you! I used a combination of all of his videos :) I recommend starting from the basics and working your way up. For the most part when I took the ASVAB the math was a lot of percentages and geometry based questions. But they do get harder as you progress so just make sure you’re decently versed in most equations.
It’s been a dream of mine to become an Army Ranger. I needed a 109 GT for an option 40 contract. It’s been 5 years since I’ve been in school. I spent about 10 hours studying. I put all of my attention on arithmetic reasoning and word knowledge. I’m proud to say I surprised myself and got a 124 GT score and an 87 ASVAB score. Now I just need a medical waiver to see if the dream can become reality. Could not have done this without your help. I also took the practice tests twice. And then the arithmetic reasoning and word knowledge sub tests separately about 3-5 times each. Almost all of my arithmetic reasoning questions were percentage questions. Anyone reading this that’s looking to improve, pause the videos when you can read the questions. Then watch how he works through the problem to see if that’s how you did it. Do this until you’re consistently getting them right and you’ll be golden. I was extremely nervous and still got the scores I needed for my mos. Good luck everyone!
Hey man hope you’re doing well! Were you able to get your medical waiver? Currently trying to get mine too, but the recruiter said to score as high as possible so they’d be more likely to accept it
I went from 30 to a 45 with only a week of watching your videos thank you this was the best channel for me and I can get the job I want in the airforce
@@johnslum8371 the test itself isn’t hard I’d say study good on the math part and you should be good I just arrived to my tech school btw just finished bmt
I want to thank you, brother. I just got a 94 on the asvab and this video is the exact one that I needed to refresh my memory. I had a pretty good grasp on everything else included in the test but It's wild how easy it was after reviewing basic math stuff with this video. Anyone reading this thats about to take the asvab, trust yourself. Take the practice test, brush up on whatever you need to brush up on, and trust yourself.
In that case, you may want to work through my math boot camp playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLhlU-GzAQeG2ete7N8QjR2dDN_CaIH67z That playlist goes through everything you need to know to do well on the math subtests. Good luck!
OMG thank you so much, this video just released so much of my stress today. I hope I get a 102 on the ASVAB for the army to get my dream job as a Drone pilot.
I did my first asvab test last month and I failed, I just got this video 2 weeks ago and it’s so helpful…I just finished my test today and it’s passed. My English is not good than I focus on math…thank you so much Grammar Hero…army here I come .
Hi!! I just wanted to say thank you for your videos, they helped me so much. I took the ASVAB today and scored a 52, after studying for a couple weeks with your videos. I’m sending a lot of blessings your way 🙌🏽
got a 68 on practice test in recruiters office, did all videos of both MK & AR playlist over a few months, got a 95 on the picat, went to verify score at MEPs and the problems were very different so i ended up having to take the entire thing afterwards. Ended up with a score of 91 / GT 128. Ship out to basic in a week. Thanks grammar hero
Going into meps next week. Im 40 and it’s been a while since I’ve studied math. I’ve been watching your videos for a few weeks to help me get back in rhythm. Let’s hope I pass, brb on an update!

I would work through my math boot camp playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLhlU-GzAQeG2ete7N8QjR2dDN_CaIH67z 26 videos / 2 videos a day = 13 days of studying. Good luck!
This video is so helpful. To be honest, your videos help bridge my learning gap in 6-7th grade math. I'm so thankful. In an effort to obtain a 110 General Technical score, I take the Armed Forces Qualifications Test July 15. Should I reach my goal, you can expect a deposit from me soon. I have been putting in the work, too.
Thank you so much . I only studied 3 days with you & I passed . I am now sharing this info with a friend and hope they do the same . Your the best couldn’t have done it without you! You made sense of everything.
Congrats on the great score, and I wish you the best if you join the military! With a score like that, you'll qualify for almost every job the military offers!
Thank you for these videos! I scored at 44 on my practice test in the recruiters office.. and with the help of these videos I scored in the 75 percentile allowing me to get the job I wanted. Thank you !
Thank you so much for these videos. They have helped me immensely and I'm sure they have done the same for others as well. I took the PiCAT and the ASVAB and I achieved an 80 both times. That is a number I have no business having, so I am positive that you're videos are the sole reason I was able to get it. I can't show my gratitude enough and I hope you know how many lives you have changed for the better.
Just want to give a massive thanks to you Grammar Hero. The wealth of content and the way it’s organized on your channel made it very viable for me to quickly study up on things I haven’t thought about in almost a decade. I just got a AFQT of 97 on my PiCAT and I’m over the moon. Largely thanks to you!
a few months ago I took the asvab and got a 25, I was disappointed and I kept studying and watching your video and it help me a lot and I scored a 43 today thank you so much grammarly hero! Im so grateful to find your channel and playlist honestly I cant thank you enough that I can finally say that I passed after months of watching your videos
You are videos are helping me a lot, I am studying as much as I can to take my ASVAB test exam in around few weeks, thanks a lot man for sharing you knowledge with us.
Hey Grammar Hero! Just wanna say thank you for all the free videos! I got 92 on my ASVAB and qualified to take the EDPT but unable to pass due its difficulty. Overall, your videos really help me a lot. Now waiting for Airforce BMT (ANG) Keep up the good work Sir and stay safe!
GrammarHero has saved my life so many times and countless of my associates from making simple mistakes or even taking care of tests like the ASVAB with efficiency. THNK YOU SO MUCH!
Been watching your videos for months. Safe to say you were one of the reasons why I got a higher score than I expected for the PICAT and PICAT verification test. Went from 29 with practice tests to 72 on the actual one. Thank you for your helpful videos and resources! I am so excited to join the Air Force.
Thank you so much for these videos. I'm trying to join the Airforce, and studying for the test always was worrisome. Then I found your channel, and I feel a ton more confident going into my ASVAB. Again, thank you.

@@GrammarHero Thanks alot i failed miserably on my first attempt with very little practice. Especially after not being in school in over 19 years. I take the retest in the next 3 weeks i am definately trying my best to relearn alot of material.
Can you do more practice test. I took your last one and got 51 out of 74. I still have to wait to test a few more months but your videos have helped so far.
This weekend, I'll be adding one more. Just keep in mind that these are very short practice tests that estimate your AFQT score; the real ASVAB is longer.
I’m taking my asvab today heading to Montgomery now your video took a lot of pressure off me I knew it but I hadn’t done it without a calculator in so long

Did not remember a thing about fractions when I started watching the video. At the end question #20 u told us u were not doing it. I challenged myself to doit and got the answer correct. Thank you for your help. I'm currently studying for the ASVAB and I'm a slow-paced learner, but you've helped me a ton (2000 pounds). LOL
For question 19 it may also be helpful to note that you can find a common denominator easily by multiplying by the denominator of the fraction you are comparing the original fraction to. So for 3/4 < 5/7 you get 21/28 < 20/28 which we know is not true. For me multiplication is easier than long division into a decimal.
I’m taking asvab March 8 I absolutely suck at math but you may have refreshed my memory’s of what to do and how to do it hopefully I pass thank you though.
I love the way Swiss people use their head to come up with the result, it's fast and save the muscle! ...I used worked with an English man who has solved most of math problems in his head before writing them down!
