@@vazf2011 For that price you will not find anything good. You need to put at least 60 $. If you have time and like to make it yourself, buy a pi 3. If not and you want something ready to go take the nes or snes classic, the quality is the best, and could still hack them for more games.

I got mine for $4 at Walmart the controller was better put together than I thought it was and the thumb pad never came off on me maybe because I'm not yanking on it 🤷 the pong version was the same price and it came with two controllers and those ones were built like walkie talkies I never noticed any screen tearing movements felt smooth and I'm glad I didn't get the arcade versions it's more authentic to the original home playing experience

Another thing I noticed is the audio is off pitch! on Galaga I noticed the music was a pitch too low.

Agreed, but it's not too low. I like audio pitch lowered about 2% on all things I listen to, actually; it sounds more properly "centered" into the semitone that way. Must be a perspective issue of mine. Also...my own unit's audio has dropped two octaves. TWO WHOLE OCTAVES. Wanna hear the Dig Dug guy connect an air pump to his butt and explode enemies with massive 8 bit farts? I'll sell you my portable for five bucks XD

I like it, it's old school and if your kid breaks it you don't have to worry to much about the price, but lil arcade like this is a good training to teach kids of how to take care of expensive electronics. Plus a kid in 3rd world country who ain't got much would appreciate it. This is cool.

When I saw your facial expression at the start of the video I was laughing so hard. Also the throwing of the ass blast stick thing was funny as well. Best review ever! Please also review the other ones if you can loan them from someone. Can't you just return it and get different one? One of these I hope is good. I felt the same way and expressed it in my video. Metions to better options in my video but there are far more options on the market for playing retro games. I already knew I wasn't going to purchase this when I first heard about it on RGT 85 video! Wow, the controller's quality sucks? Of course, atGames would go backward instead of using the controller they had for the Sega Genesis Flashback HD which I thought were pretty good wireless controllers!

The Genesis controller looks pretty damn sweet in white and orange lol. As for the product itself, I think had these been $14.99 it could have been a wonderful little product had it ACTUALLY been the arcade versions and not have that godawful screen tearing, but as it stands, no thanks. Is it a major rip off for what it is? Naaaah, I think its passable at the very least for people who don't care that much and just want the convenience for a few rounds, but for those who know what these games actually run like and want to experience something closer to the originals, I don't see any real incentive here at all. Nice box tho lol. On a side note, its really shitty of Atgames to advertise the arcade version and give you an NES version and is especially noticeable with Pacmania.

It depends on the tv. Wont work on my Sony but an LG in my bedroom works fine.

Same, I got that issue when trying it on an old CRT with HDMI-to-RF and HDMI-to-RCA. I only get sound when I hook it up the intended way to an HDTV.

Wish I would have read this first. Purchased this from Bath, Bed, & Beyond and the first one didn't have any Audio. Returned it and the 2nd one doesn't have audio either. Can someone help am I doing something wrong????

I hadn't used mine in a few weeks, and when I plugged it in last night, I found out it deteriorated over time. The audio has become glitchy and buzzy, and it dropped TWO WHOLE OCTAVES. It sounds like the Dig Dug guy is blowing the enemies up with massive three bean chili farts, not an air pump. ...Depending on other comments I've read, it might be the different TV I'm using, but that would be crazy.

I just found mine at a local grocery store for 90% off. Paid $2.50. Mine doesn't have Pacmania. It has Tower of Druaga instead. The controller is cheap, but works. For what it is, it's not bad. Now, I probably would be as pissed off as you if I spent $20 on it.

Obviously this thing is a piece of crap. But to be fair to At Games, all HDMI dongles are powered just like this, from the Fire Stick to the Roku Stick to the Chromecast. If there's power to the USB port it will be on and that's just the way it is across the board.

I took mine back to Wal-Mart for a refund. Approximately a week later Wal-Mart removed their remaining inventory. The lag made most of the games unplayable!

The Atgame Atari Flashback 9 at Walmart is horrible. I bought it today and I am taking it back. Controllers are junk. Very unresponsive to say the least. Worst system I have ever had. Save your money and buy the real 2600.

Dude. Go back and watch John Hancock's video on this device. His had Arcade versions instead of the versions thats on my unit! WTF! lol, bait and switch? Or is there another version that has quality arcade versions that the box etc looks identical to the one I got? Thats frikkin weird. A comment down below brought that up and I went back and watched. Two different complete sets of games, but looks like the identical product!

I don't understand why there's so many videos about these things being garbage, they're from Walmart... They aren't a PlayStation 9 or something... they're a plug-and-play impulse buy video game system... they do exactly what they say they're supposed to do. The only people criticizing them are people who already have an SNES classic that has hakchi on it, so they don't need these anyways.
