My goodness😆 All of ground control I have seen and heard in other videos this airport seems to be the most complicated compared to other airports but I assume they have it that way since this airport is the #1 busiest!!!
I watched this again. And it is fabulous.. the overlays and maps. The radio transmissions...the cockpit conversations... Everything from start to finish .Anybody that flies needs to watch this; from student pilots to people that just purchase a ticket on a commercial flight...Oh, and just for fun...for those who may not know ATL Atlanta Hartsfield is probably the busiest airport in the World...

Idk about y'all but when they made the last turn into F-3, at 16:00 , and you see the plane's reflection creeping closer and closer, that was just amazing. makes me wanna go and launch P3D and fly the AF 77L
J'adore vos vidéos, plus particulièrement les pilotes Français et leurs manières de faire, c'est typiquement français la façon de gérer les vols, les contrôles, vous êtes sérieux tout en parlant, en ne répétant pas mot pour mot exactement les check genre "on va faire" "tu fais..." et puis après le fait de parler du paysages, de certaines choses même, je trouve que c'est en ça que se démarque Air France et en général les Français, une manière de faire originale, c'est con mais on sent l'histoire de cette compagnie à travers vous, y'a vraiment une âme un truc qui font que ces vidéos sont justes superbe
Taking off and landing into the world's busiest airport is one hell of a challenge. You guys aced it!!! Also, working ATC at Hartsfield is probably one of the most stressful ATC posts in the world. Great job to everyone and thanks for what you do.
Yes like the 2 others say and most *[ARTCC]* will be patter that follows a very strict protocol which becomes naturally available to nuances of inflection; I have hearing-loss myself and so am aware of just what the question is; Definitely much is programmed into the FMC though be sure if there _are_ any questions; Someone is going to speak up promptly → nearly instantly → the rule is revert to common language if needed for clarity See *atlanta air route traffic control center* on LiveATC.net
Part of it is that the comms tend to follow a pattern, so they are expecting to hear certain things. That can make it possible to understand quite rapid messages versus hearing them for the first time. Then it's a lot of repetition.
as Steeltrap said, you anticipate what ATC is going to say so you are to expect ertain specific things, for example clearences, speed restriccions, traffic advisories etc.. But at least in my experience ATC sounds way more clear even in my cheap headsets, maybe the audio wasn´t recorded directly but it isn´t like that

The amount of taxing in your video's is awesome. I always attempt to do the read-back to the tower myself but always forget at least one instruction. Looking forward to your next video. Edit: I really appreciate the honest corrections to show you guys are all communicating. The tower that needed you to reduce approach speed, and the moment the FO wanted to steer left on to a taxi way but the Captain corrected.

@@thodorismilis they landed on runway 26R. Now they have just been cleared to cross the runway ahead (26L) and the pilot answers by saying "cross 26R" instad of "cross 26L"

Vous êtes autorisé pour l'approche visuelle mais vous restez quand même sur l'ILS jusqu'à l'atterrissage. Du coup pourquoi le contrôleur vous a autorisé à l'approche visuelle alors que vous étiez en train de vous établir sur le LOC ? Ca ne change rien du coup si ?
En effet, nous gardons nos moyens d'aides. L'approche visuelle permet surtout de gérer la vitesse de l'avion en s'assurant des séparations minimums et évite des messages successifs de l'atc sur la réduction par exemple. De manière générale, cela fluidifie le trafic et décharge la fréquence.
Oh, and it must not be forgotten that the lives of all on this just one airplane count on the industry and take their safety for granted. So do all of the others...
