For Q34, I think the issue was the compressibility part. After calculating that out, I got an answer of around 1.6. Then I took that off from the TAS of 458 to get a new TAS of around 456ish. Which got me closer to the 0.77Mach answer. Correct me if this is misleading, but hopefully it helps others who are confused about it. From fellow ATPL student who's got a GNAV exam in a couple weeks time.

ive got my gnav exam tomorrow and have been working through this and then seeing how you do the question, and so far has been super helpful. im currently on q34 and i used the lss equation. doing 39 x square root of 273-44 and then dividing 458 by that answer gives mach 0.77

Hi Grant, thnx for the video! Any chance you can do a second exam? One of the things I like best is the way you "attack" the questions. This is something I find difficult from just learning online.

Hi, thanks for your video, they helped me a bunch ! Your mistake at question 7 @16:30 was that you simply put cos 45 instead of cos 35 the first time 👍

Bro you have done a great job really helpful thanks for all. On question 34 you took a wrong value on the scale of TAS the. If you take the right scale on tas you will fine the correct answer. Thanks again

Random question but which version of ATPDigital are you using? The newer ones don't seem to allow me to see answers after the question

Your Error on Question 12 was nothing to do with Airfield Elevation… it’s because you Added the Altitude Pressure Correction to the Flight Level rather than Subtracting it… QNH is Lower than SPS, so your Altitude is Lower than Flight Level.

guys you will not do this on flight level 340 specially when weather hits. in my opinion all you need is a flying skill with excellent CRM. and extra gallons of🛢⛽️

Concerning question 47: I keep using the method you explained. But my result is still something about 26kt. I tried and tried it again but it won’t give me 33kt. I use the Aviation Calculator IWA 11 092. Do you have ANY idea what I’m doing wrong? By the way I love your videos - they really do help me and I guess many many others.. keep up the great work!! Greetings from Germany🫡

It's hard to tell without seeing your method, try some other similar questions, make sure you are reading the scale correct and entering in the values properly?
