yes it's the updated version for 2023.5 year

It sould, it does have the capability for Mercedes, but I have not pugged in to one with it so I do not know how well supported the data is. I know the Autell that we have at the shop I work for will do a lot with Mercedes, but it is also a $4500 scanner.

i have not run in to that issue, but I have found that on the newer FCA cars it does not have the security clearance to talk to the vehicle at all. Bear in mind the scan tool is newer than these vehicles, and even at my full time job in a shop some of the newer vehicles require a special security clearance to talk to some of these new cars.

I think that would depend on the vehicle, and the body control module. You may be able to see which door is ajar in the live data for the BCM. It will not program Ford PassLock keys.

I have not tried to use it for that, but I doubt it. Unfortunately they claim bi directional control, but I have so far not found that to be the case. it does a good job of reading and clearing codes, and shows good reliable live data, but some newer vehicles especially FCA vehicles it does not have the security access to talk to. I hope this helps you out to some degree even though it does not actually answer your question. Hopefully I can make a little more in depth video with it in the near future.

That I’m not sure, may be in the settings. If it shows the units, just not a value, it may be that it is just taking too long to update. As I scroll down through the data I find I often have to wait for the actual data numbers to fill in. This scanner seems to take a longer to update the live data than it’s big brother that we use at the shop where I work. Autell scanners have there positive points and things they do really well, but when it comes to loading data SnapOn scanners have them beat on speed. But at that point you are talking about $4k-$6k scanners.

It should work on a 1 ton or smaller truck. I have used it on my 2000 F-350 with the 7.3.

I was able to program my 2016 jeep compass with it. I plan on testing my 2023 corolla tomorrow with it. Im in the middle of updating my scan tool beings its been over a year since I updated it. I will let you know my results :)
