I can relate to this. I was always a tomboy. Always late to develop emotionally compared to other girls. Really struggled with puberty and the way people looked at me different when I saw no difference between my brother and I at least mentally I hated the attention older men gave me, and how they would stare at my boobs.=. Never felt any sort of crush or attraction to boys my age, but had some sort of romantic attachment toward my female friends with no desire to act on it. Met my relationship/sexual needs by just reading fanfiction and manga with both hetero and yaoi couples. I suspect I am Bi or Ace, and have autoandrophilia. I think my brother has Autogynephilia. We consumed similar media growing up (except for the yaoi, shoujo and fanfiction I read), watched the same movies, same anime, (sailor Moon, Dragon ball z) etc. As early as kindergarten I can remember watching Osamu Tezuka's Ribbon no Kishi and later in Elementary school Ranma 1/2, both shows really blur the lines with such concepts and I think it made an impression on both of us. Anyway if this trans thing was popular back when I was a kid, I am sure I would have been pushed to transition when right now I am in a happy heterosexual marriage.

As a gay guy, I can assure you, we don‘t care. Also, as you said in the video, NO straight man would stop and think about the morality of their fetishization of lesbianism, so why should you? You owe us nothing. Period. But it most definitely speaks to the self-reflective nature and goodness of the female sex which I admire❤
@lerapol

WTF.... no, this fetishization of gay men by women is incredibly disgusting, stop enabling it. You don't speak for gay men like me who were incredibly incredibly affected by this and have trauma from being sexualized by women like that in all the communities we were in. Male. Homosexuality. Is. Not. A. Woman's. Fetish! Lesbians being sexualized by men and their eyes is also equally as disgusting! Nope.

@@lerapol From what I understand, she's not sexualizing us. She's attracted to the idea of role-playing one gay man, the gay man she would be if she was born that. As long as she and her straight boyfriends don't publicly identify as homosexual males, who cares.
@lerapol
@lerapol 10 месяцев назад
@@Alan-sr8lf Well she literally is? Her whole video seems to just be an excuse to why she pornofies male sex online by saying "oh yeah, I shouldn't feel bad for pornofying gay men (sexually) because lesbians are sexualized all the time", what the hell? So it seems she's just going to openly watch porn of gay male sex (something not intended for ANY women at all) and... Sort of expect any actual sound homosexual man to be okay with that???? (Which they aren't AT ALL... the only ones that say they are are lying... Or want not to be so confrontational and think there is some consensus to this...(there isn't...)). Can we stop giving excuses to these gross fetishists already? (And I'm talking generally about the women that do that) I'm so tired of their stupid excuses, if they sexualize us, then they sexualize us and I think they're nasty and vile for contributing to the entire female media that sexualizes and obsessed over depictions of male on male love for them (ewww...). So now we should say "ohhh, that's alright, at least you don't fully sexualize us now, just watch disgusting fetish porn about us...". Yuck, nahhh, I won't quite frankly. Lesbians being pornofied is equally as vile (especially considering the scale), and no lesbian woman should also feel the need to excuse the media (by men) that sexualizes and pornofies female in female love and lesbian sex for them... Shameful Sure it's a video about what this person experiences, but I fail to see the need to actually validate anything this fetishist says... She's a fetishist... okay? Do I have to appreciate that she now just pornofies us? Hmmmm... I don't see it. (Edited: was a bit too emotionally charged initially)

@lerapol Hey. I just happened to stumble on this thread today and thought I’d add my (probably unwelcome) two cents. First and foremost, I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had to deal with unwanted attention from women who fetishize your homosexuality. I can only imagine how unpleasant that must be, and I find it deeply objectionable that things like this happen. I remember talking with men who have worked as exotic dancers, and frequently they mention how little respect women show for men’s bodies. I think a lot of men are raised with the “no means no” lecture, and not nearly as many women are taught that the same rules apply to them. Again, very sorry you’ve had to deal with that. That being said, I went back and reviewed my video, because I felt like the message you took away from it really wasn’t the message I wanted to put out in the world. As I watched my video, I counted 4 distinct times that I basically said, “I really don’t watch gay porn.” In fact I start out the video apologizing because I feel that, in discussing gay porn, I’m talking about something I don’t know much about. I doubt this is going to change your opinion of me. Generally, once people label you a “disgusting fetishist” they tend not to listen to anything else you have to say. But on the off chance you might read this, I’d like to reiterate: I don’t fetishize gay men. Moreover, it would appear that my sense of sexual arousal is very stereotypically female in that I generally only find a partner arousing once they’ve given me several indications of their own interest. This is probably compounded by my own lack of social awareness- so men practically have to light off fireworks and put up a flashing neon sign for me to notice they’re attracted to me. And until I get those clear signals of sexual interest, I assume they aren’t interested, and I go about my day. Basically, if you’re a gay man, I can more or less guarantee you’ll never have to worry about me taking any sexual interest in you whatsoever.

In my day a person had to leave the house to view porn. Even in the 1980s. Hardcore Pornography was banned in most of Canada until 1983, even then, scenes of ejaculation had to be cut from films until the 90s, when video stores were legitimized. Porn adult stores were routinely firebombed in Vancouver by feminists in the 1980s. Gay magazines were stopped by Canada Customs in the well into the 2000s. I was visiting Portland Oregon in 2006, and was shocked by what they were allowed to screen at the Jefferson Theater.

You are a liar. I am a staunch American Democrat, and I know that feminists are not terrorists, but persecuted victims. Any businesses that were damaged were the result of Jesus Freaks who hate sex. That's why we absolutely must ban religion, because it causes hatred and war. AIDS was a fake CIA plot. Gay men have never been any different than any other person. They do not get sick just from loving each other.

I find it fascinating how much time you spend thinking about and analyzing other people in addition to yourself. As an autistic person I probably spend less that 0.00001% of my mental processing on what other people think or their motivations - it simply doesn't ever occur to me to think about anything much beyond the little bubble that is me and my life. This is in contrast to you, who are clearly way off from neurotypical standard, but manifest in a completely different way.

That is interesting. My best guess has been that I have ADHD. I got diagnosed with it when I was ten, but there really wasn’t much follow up care. I’ve been asked if I have autism because autism in women doesn’t manifest the same as it does in men. The problem is that my brain seems to work more like an ADHD brain than an autistic one- I’m super disorganized.

I'm a heterosexual man, but I have considered sexual fetishization. I don't have a very narrowed down "type" when it comes to physical appearance. I have gone through fazes though, usually triggered by an attraction or interaction with a particular person or interaction. More specifically, when I was especially attracted to black woman I really considered making sure I wasn't fetishizing ethnicity or being a hypocrite in any way. I can imagine that it's even more complex when it comes to sex, gender and sexuality. Interesting talk.

I'm currently writing a novel that, is not only a homage to my group of friends from college, but is also a story that I would like to see in a porn setting.

Interesting views on this channel. I have some questions for you that you can ask yourself. 1) What kind of work do you do? 2) What topics do you discuss with your closest ( non-work related) friends? 3) When you have sexual contact with your partner(s), what are you thinking about? 4) What do you say to your partner during this contact? 5) Do you have recurrent dreams or fantasies about your partners? Why do I ask? During my employment I have interviewed and have had conversations with thousands of people from sexually diverse perspectives. My goal was understanding their views so that I could assist them in inhibiting the spread of STI's. What is your personal view on "promiscuity" ( your definition)? 6) If you were to classify your verbal communications into these Seven categories, what would be your estimates? Seven subject areas: 1) Objects 2) People 3 ) Ideas 4) Events, 5) Processes 6) Issues 7) Feelings/emotions

You don't define the term, fetishize, other than to condemn it as objectionable because women are sensitive to it more than men, which makes it sound similar to romance. The gay best friend is such a cliché that it's odd that you don't mention it. I suspect that the recent support among many women, and, notably feminist, for transwomen and trans rights, etc parallels the common interest women have in men whom they can treat like a girlfriend in order to meet their emotional needs without having to be reminded of a sexual attraction (while of course not denying their own sexual attraction to such men)
@oakleavesandonions771
@oakleavesandonions771 Год назад
Honestly, I didn’t mention any of this because I wasn’t thinking along those lines at all. I was talking about pornography- as in hardcore porn. I did hear an interesting theory about the gay best friend thing. The idea was that attractive women befriend gay men because it gives them safe friendships. If a woman is sexually attractive, she can’t trust straight men as friends because they’ll most likely be more motivated by their own sexual interest in her than by her best interest (in finding the best possible mate for herself). She can’t trust female friends, because other women will see her as a threat and attempt to sabotage her sexually. I’ve experienced both of these things firsthand. It sucks. A gay man might seem like a safe, neutral friend for many women. I think that’s often part of the appeal. As far as feminist’s widespread support of trans rights… it might just be my own prejudice, but I think many of these people are just following what they’re told and not really thinking too deeply about the issues. Women hear words like “inclusivity” and “acceptance” and “kindness” and many of them don’t take time to question any of it. Men do the same thing, but usually it’s different buzzwords steering them.

@@oakleavesandonions771 My understanding of the definition of hardcore porn is that it is defined in legal terms as depicting PiV penetration or male penetration of the female body under any conditions. It is not a matter of fetishizing which still remains a vaguely defined and subjective term. Do I fetishize fertile looking women or is that simply a product of more than one million years of evolutionary selection? I still contend that the fear of fetishization is an indirect shaming of male sexuality The classic meaning of fetish as an object that must be present for sexual gratification is no longer related to a more loosely defined notion of fetishization. I usually cite the example of the series, Will & Grace, to explain the appeal of the gay best friend. As I interpret the characters, Grace mostly leeches off the wealth, status, and good nature of Will in order to promote her career and relies on him when her relationships fall apart. It's an episodic drama afterall. I agree that gay best friend can be an objective arbiter or mentor since women often can neither trust men nor women for reliable feedback. But I think it's just as important that such gay men perform a kind of proxy object of female lust. There is an undeniable sexual dynamic is such relationships. (There is the fantasy among some women of turning a gay man straight.) It's the ambiguous, yet seemingly safer, element which also appeals to many women. I can also mention that appeal among teenage girls which attracts them to horseriding as they go through adolescence. The horses represent a large, powerful creature that is safe to ride and touch. It's very true that feminist ideology often preys upon the agreeability of women to form consensus around otherwise controversial ideas, but the source of such antiscientific thinking comes from academia where feminist ideology has dominated all levels of education since the 1980s I'm curious to better understand in which cases you think men are equally susceptible to social contagions through buzzwords

@@oakleavesandonions771 It's more than that, society hates the concept of a masculinized human that is not attracted to women. Contrary to the popular belief, being attracted to women makes you more susceptible to being emotionally dominated by females. I think many people prefer HSTS since these are chemically or physically castrated eunuchs and, therefore, more tamable than a testosterone-fueled gay man who will not be blackmailed into doing ultimately unnecessary things he doesn't want just to appease females and who will not refrain himself from telling women they are wrong when they are wrong.
