I did Aya once over a decade ago...it was very hard, after a beautiful vision of these golden ladies pouring golden nectar all over me everything went black and I felt pain and torture in every level of my being...the shaman was very amazing though but I had to step out of the circle to not interrupt others' experiences, so after a few hours they were coming down, doing the songs and I kept getting higher until IT happened... ..I found myself at my death, my brith and at the present moment all at the same time...I realized every problem I had in life stemmed from a core pain from my birth, being born was painful, and my whole life was all about masking this inner core pain....including addiction disorder...once I had this realization the experience abated, I came down within 10 minutes. I had already stopped using dope a few years prior but went back to heavy pot use, but I had to abstain from smoking for a full week to purge the THC from my system but after the experience I had no desire to go back to smoking weed or using anything and became sober for the first time, I was like 50 then, I'm 63 now and I'll tell you, it was one rough journey but I got about 30 years worth of therapy in one harrowing night and I'm free and in my power today. blessings to you for taking the time to read this. After many years of the first call of Ayahuasca, I met her finally in October last year, right before my 29th birthday. My first and biggest lesson was about acceptance - of all parts of me. It's still an ongoing process though, but there I saw it clearly. I heard the voice: That is how it should be. (meaning: I should shine in the highest light of who I am). It was a voice of my mother, mixed with a certain entity-like voice (but very, very gentle). For me the entire ceremony it was a very beautiful experience. totally magical. I saw many things. Throwing up was not so bad - I did it only in the 2nd evening - and just a little. And throwing up was more like a relief, not like it is after heavy drinking for example. Also, on this ceremony, I forgave my father, and I told him I loved him right after I came back to my hometown. Since then our relationship transformed beautifully and completely into love and caring. And by forgiving my father, somehow I forgave all men in my life that ever hurt me. I started to understang things that were way beyond my mental capacity, way beyond of what actually happened, which is still very strange for me, how the technology of the plant works. Also since the ceremony I still have visual hallucinations sometimes - I see mandala-like shapes, light beams, especially when I meditate or when I wake up in the morning but still didn't open my eyes. Visions are very strong. When I see something or my body tries to tell me some things, I now listen without a second thought. Also, some other things happened: I completely lose touch with some people after that. Somehow I just didn't want to spend my time with them anymore. And they were so gently gone out of my life. Ayahuasca completely changed my life. I am now in different processes - still not feeling ready to do it the second time. But I have a feeling it's right around the corner and it will happen for sure again... Since then I have a feeling like I'm living my life in depth, acceptance, love, and universal truth. 💗

Ayahuasca changed my whole world (for the better). One of the ceremonies was the scariest thing of my life. Going into the following ceremony is the bravest thing I ever done. It's also the best thing I have ever done. There is a life before and after Aya. But like Christina says, do your homework when it comes to picking a schaman. I myself live in Sweden and I did it in Sweden for world renowned peruvian curanderita Naysha Silva. She works all over the world where ayahuasca is legal.

Ayahuasca changed my life for the better-I would never encourage or discourage it, and I highly recommend having a good therapist in place prior to using this plant medicine.

As you described a ayahuasca experience, I thought, this is basically my spiritual experience. I have Native American in both sides of my family tree. Often my dreams and visions will include a small old woman with a crown of feathers. She is a constant teacher in all things Gaia and all things cyclic. When I dive deep, she often comes in as my own sweet Mother. She gently and sometimes not so gently shows me truth, wounds, blocks, fears, potential. She has shown me my connection to her comes from my Mother’s female line. I see her as my Great Grandmother. She once showed me my family tree. I climbed the tree and sitting among the tree branches were many tea cups. The same tree, but this time with illuminated birds with their heart lights shining bright. It’s interesting you say that you can work with the plant without having actually ingested it. I had a very intense vivid dream of being on an ayhuasca journey guided by a grandmother spirit. I went through highs and lows and unveilings that were incredibly profound. I felt “shifted”, open and impacted afterwards. I had forgotten about this until watching this.

Use plant medicine ever so wisely as everything is to be treated as sacred and this is NOT for everyone or to be used without experienced medicine people. Intention is everything. I’m getting ready for my first experience with grandmother Aya in one month. A year ago, I would have never thought I would be working with her. The mere thought sent me into a panic attack. I actually had plans in place to have my first ceremony a while back ago, but then Covid happened and I had to cancel my trip. It was a real disappointment. I can't deny I've been called to work with plant medicine and I can't wait to make it happen someday.

So doll 😍 😍 I have been working thru this Life change since last year and I don't know what to think about this....i guess I will let you know that I was literally in a coma from profound hypothermia in it's very last stages, it included cardiac failure, kidney failure, and coma. My nanny was recent like about a month before my accident and I remember speaking being feeling embraced by both of them and I remember getting given a choice even though it was a weighted one ( my nanny wasn't going to let me stay, i have to do something here first) Also I have emerged such a different person according to my family and friends they make comments like the old AJ needs a tombstone bc of the "new me"...meanwhile I'm feeling like the Most like me i have ever felt. 🥶🤔😀 So yeah a lot of very similar things happen there in comparison, ability to communicate with the spirit realm even the hallucinations /visions . Thank you for this video. I never heard about this plant until you started talking about it. I do want to attend a ceremony one of these days and I understand I need to do the work before using this plant. I have a lot of things I want to understand about myself and why there are things I can't remember in my childhood. Why my dad had a dislike for me growing up, and why my mom at times treated me the same as my dad. I have love for my parents even though they are gone. My brother also. Mama Aya kicked my butt. I wish your video would have came out sooner so I could use all your tips. But never the less, she showed me what I needed to see that time. She showed my fear, ego, control issues and my senses were 100x high and became so sensitive. It was so challenging. But intuitively I knew that post ceremony is as impt as during or before ceremony. Two days after ceremony, I was meditating and expressing my gratitude to mama Aya and the great spirit of Mother Earth, Mountain, water, air and my team and my body. I just wanted to add that it's possible to change the energy from childhood energy and also to connect to vivid dreaming, connecting to the beyond- spirit guides, visions without doing this. For me (I'm sure I'm not the only person who lives this way or who can do this)...connecting to heart energy, at least for me, opens up the door to altered states of consciousness without an aid. Hi Christina! I’ve watched most of your videos which im very grateful of because they have helped me a lot with my spiritual awakening. I’ve been working with ayahuasca for the past 5 years and has giving me so much healing. My husband and i have been to Peru in two separate times to learn becoming medicine man and medicine woman. It has been an amazing journey although I’m not sure why it has been so hard for me to integrate everything now that im back home. I took a break just like you advice in this video and my last two ceremonies have been very intense. We do facilitate ayahuasca ceremonies and im a little concern that this will affect our services. What is going on? What can I do? 🙏

I ordered the ingredients from the UK. All 3 I combined in a pot and boiled it then drained it as tea. Put on 3.5 hrs of shaman ayahuasca drum chanting music and took my drank. I do not recommend doing it alone again, I promised mother AYA I would come back during a ceremony next time. I did not complete the journey, I was not completely alone, my teenage daughter and 2 other minors whom awoke just as the tea began to work and I instantly felt I needed to secure them upstairs before continuing. It took 3 hours to wear off but I still spoke wisdom for about 2 weeks after. My Pomeranian was my shaman. She laid on my back and I used her breathes as a guide back to wake myself up. I heard something else breath before I closed my eyes and the dog wasn’t near me.👀 Next time I will go to a ceremony.

I had a big chakra awakening that awakened and unlocked my psychic abilities and was able to use my abilities without any problems until I had a very live shaking blockage in my third eye that got triggered by a past life memory from thousands of lifetimes ago that caused me to shut off my abilities, they have come back since I had my reiki healing the first time and healed a lot after that. Yet I had to ask for it how to unlock my third eye and heal the trauma that my past life memory triggered and hopefully open up my eye enough to see the spiritual plane again, however, I really want to help accelerate my healing process and get over my healing chapter right now. My guides and angels have said that my abilities are back and I need to use them; but I'm struggling with seeing, hearing and feeling my spirit gives and angels and any energies that are around me like before I had the blockage. When I heard about the many great healing stories of the plant medicine and spirit Mother Ayahuasca, I knew I had to try it and experience the helping for myself, yet I wait sure if I could see it feel any shifts and changes if I take the plant. I want to try it but I have no money at all to even try it out so it's going to take me years to have even a chance to have it help me with discovering more about my past and trauma and healing it. I did try to do this at home but I had no feelings or visions as strongly as I was expecting but it did help me feel a bit more balanced and helped my third eye chakra feel more open; sadly, I might not have the same visual stimulation and spiritual journeying as other people as I feel that my imagination is not as strong as it used to, so I I have the money to go to South America someday, I might not have it as wonderful, powerful, and challenging as it would be if I had not blocked my Third Eye or had a better healing hungry where I never had an emotional disconnection. Yes, I agree that I, and we, should take the full trip to Peru or Equador or any other good place like Rythmia and take the plant medicine at the source with a good and highly skilled shaman, but I have to have the money for that and believe it will take me many years to even have a chance to go, I would love it if I could have a job and save up right now. I guess I can stick to my San Pedro for now and use it to help with my meditation so can go deeper. Strangely, it doesn't help much with Seeing and feel numb from energy and my emotions no matter how high I take the proper dosage. Is it psychiatric that I cannot see things and feel/notice energy? On another note, anybody know where I can find a really good spiritual life coach as cool as Christina? I cannot ask her shove she's not taking new clients anymore. And maybe a psychic medium teacher, too? I want to help me and my guides to make more progress in my journey and practice my abilities more, I really need hello right now, I haven't seen spirits and heard voices in a long time!

Great video, I think one thing that is missing, is a warning of sexual abuse, but i guess that is sort of covered in making sure you select the right shaman. Unfortunately even the "right" shaman, that can come highly recommended, can at times have ulterior motives.

Christina, I’ve looked into going to Rhythmia. I have seen and heard very mixed reviews about the centre; that many of the good shamans have left, and often people have been left on their own while the facilitators party.. that it’s also become commercialized. Others say it’s great. I want to treat it with great respect and as a sacred thing. Can you speak to this? I was so disappointed to hear these reviews about Rythmia.

I've been changing for about a year and feel like my vibration is getting higher. But, I also honestly feel a calling to do plant medicine to help me through past traumas and physical pains. The thing is is all don't have the resources to go to a retreat. I know where a mushroom is that grows locally and have been told it is the same as the plant medicine you speak of. I've been meditating and have even been changing my diet because it's good for me. What advice do you have for someone in a situation that feels a calling strongly but has no resources to go to a retreat? I'll keep meditating and hopefully find the answer.

May I ask Christine a question that I heard people talk about, after you die, apparently some say that earth is a soul trap and people suggest that you should not get tricked (by perhaps the Achons or whoever) to goto the light and reincarnate right away to earth again but you can say I would like to go back to my/the source or main source or whatever? What's true, should we goto the light or not and I forgot what someone said ayahuasca says about this topic when asked!!???

I understand everything you're saying, except for your claim that ayahuasca isn't a drug. Ayahuasca, like its counter part DMT, absolutely is a drug. It is one of the strongest substances of all time. It is a psychedelic, like magic mushrooms, LSD, peyote etc. You even said it yourself, it's a mind altering substance that brings you into altered states of consciousness. That's basically the definition of a drug. Marijuana is also a plant medicine, which I use regularly, but it is still a drug and a mind altering substance. Nearly all drugs people use today were derived from a plant. I think what you mean to say is that it's not a party drug, and like you said, should not be used outside of tradition. I agree that people need to be careful as it continues getting popular in the West.
