Welcome to 'Balance, Build & Bloom: A 21-Day Strength Journey' - specifically tailored for women aged 40 and above, including those navigating perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause.
This is your gateway to building strength and confidence and enhancing your overall health & fitness through functional movements in a positive and encouraging space. Each day we'll also be exploring a nutrition tip at the end of each workout so stick around until the end!

Hi, Kirsty. I've been following you for a while and enjoying your workouts and realised this morning that I've never commented. I just wanted to feed back that your work outs are a really safe and empowering space for me at this point in my life. I'm not sure if you realise, but your style is a big thumbs up for anyone who is neurodiverse and who has a demand avoidance profile. Your 'meet me wherever you are' approach is so helpful and so positive. I'm come back to your workouts time and time again and I feel you get the best out of me because of your understanding and empathetic approach that 'stricter' trainers wouldn't. Don't get me wrong.... You get 100% out of me. But you get that because you put the power and options in my court. You have so many great workouts to choose from depending on how I'm feeling that there's always something to choose from no matter how I'm feeling, and you're always so positive that I never feel I've let myself down. You're the only trainer I come back to time after time. Just wanted to let you know as I don't think you get the recognition you deserve. xxx

Ahh thank you so much, this comment honestly means the world to me ❤️ working with many people with all sorts of different profiles and as a mum to a neurodivergent child I’ve realised that to get the best out of most people a ‘one size fits all’ approach doesn’t really work. When we exercise we often feel exposed and venerable and I always endeavour to make people feel comfortable, safe and secure so that you can reap the benefits of your hard work. I’m really glad that you’re enjoying the workouts and find that they suit you ❤️❤️❤️ Kirsty xx

I’ve really enjoyed this series so far. I’m also attempting the 31 day build strength for life series. I noticed good overlap between day 9 of that series and day 4 of balance, build, and bloom. I offer one suggestion to add a bell or noise when the exercise starts because sometimes I’m not looking at the screen and when I do look up the timer has already started so I miss out on a few reps. Not a big deal to miss reps, but if you can insert something easily, it would help me and maybe others who want to get the maximum benefits from your program. Thank you so much for all your work to make these videos available,

Hi, Kristy, My husband and I just purchased kettlebells and I was looking for a workout. I found you, looking over the 20 min workout it fits in my morning schedule . I’m a school librarian and need lots of energy starts my day off right foot.

I absolutely love these workouts ! You are so inspiring and “real” and I find it very refreshing. Thank you for encouraging every level of fitness. As I have hit my midlife change my body has changed as well and I found I was constantly injuring myself doing other workouts,trying to keep up with the 20 year olds! I love your positivity and how fun you make these workouts, thank you so much

I find your work outs very informative, I lose form easily when tired, your coaching helps me keep focused on form. I also appreciate that the music doesn't dominate and you have such a calming narrative. Personally I really dislike shouty loud workouts so your workouts are perfect!

Brilliant session thank you 🥵 warmed up nicely before a morning walk. My fav upward row staggered, I use my heavier weight for that one. Really enjoying this series, thank you for all you do 🙏🏽

That was a great session Kirsty thank you ❤❤, those lateral arm exercises corrrr made me get a bit warm, I have time today so will follow with some yoga as a stretch and cool down xx

I’m enjoying uses the chair for a change which suits currently. Another great tip at the end…love avocado & almonds…out of interest would you say half a avo is too much for one portion? Also almonds, 10 to much for almonds for a snack…loving all these nutrition tips… 😀

Fantastic! The usual measure of almonds is a small handful so I’d say 10 is probably at the upper end of that. 1/2 an avocado is about right but remember it depends what else you are eating xx
