Absolutely, this was so much fun. I could see videos like this doing really well, kind of like a game recap but of all the stuff that a layman might miss that wouldn't be shown on Sports Center.

I don't have a daughter. I have two boys. One is really into baseball like your daughter into softball. The other one has no interest at all. I have never played baseball in my life. I fell in love with the sport because of my son.

They are 172-8 over the last three seasons. That includes two championships and three straight CWS appearances. I wouldn’t be surprised if they win their third this week.

They have a chance to extend it to 52 I believe with wins in the semifinals and finals. To be fair, it would be hard for anyone to beat themselves up for the effort put in to catch it.

most women's sports are pretty great. unfortunately most people see one or two bad examples and judge the entire sport(s) off that. Women's sports are also a great example of how giving anyone a chance will result in solid results, maybe just not immediately.

I'm a freelance videographer and I used to shoot some college softball tourneys. These ladies are absolutely fierce competitors and take it every bit as seriously as the men do. The biggest difference I notice is ego. Softball players are way more vocally positive and supportive of their teammates, they don't sulk for 3 innings over a bad calls, no showboating, no attitudes, no whining, no chirping, etc. The competitive spirit is the same and tempers do flare, of course, they just don't take it all personally. It's honestly refreshing to just watch players play the game.

@@CRneu it’s actually really sad how overshadowed the women’s teams are for a lot of sports. Like, the women’s US soccer team is one of the best in the world, they won a couple years back if I’m not mistaken. But it’s like nobody cares. Even when the US men’s team does worse people pay more attention to them and it just kinda sucks :/ especially since up until recently they were paid less than their male counterparts. And it’s just sad to see women who are genuinely good at their game and performing really well get underpaid essentially because men’s sports are just more popular, even if they perform worse then the women. I’m glad it’s starting to shift though
