I love this Bar Muscle Up progression using just a box and a pull-up bar. This could be all you need to teach you how to get up and over that bar. I start in the video with some basic hollow, arch and jumping drills before moving on to teach you how to transition.

Thanks for this video. I got my first bar MU today because of this (no box)! The box made it all click. I was actually scared of the move until I practiced on the box.

I've just joined and started a CF box.. I'm a complete noobie to all this.. This has been soo helpful.. I can't wait to get to a gym and try this out

SUPER interesting. I've been chicken-winging BMUs for almost 10 years now. That works to get maybe 5-6 BMUs in a WOD, but it's high time to get my technique fixed.

I do 2 footed. Is lowering to 0 a better progression than going to 1 leg, etc?
